Good morning, Ghib you and wife, yes it is depressing this time of year. Underground not mrt, visit Buckingham Palace, Tower of London see Royal Jewels , London Chinatown you must visit Soho. Enjoy stay safe
The Halal Guy is from New York. They started as a food truck and there’s always a queue. Then they opened a eatery a few years back. Didn’t know they make it to UK now.
Missed out the LIVE stream. T.T Nice room although it is small. When you’re working, you get to pretend to be Gandalf… “You shall not pass!!” 😂😂 MARRIOTT should be clean and good. It is a reputable brand name hotel. The location is awesome. When I studied in UK, my host mother in Brighton had a milk man deliver glass bottles of fresh milk to her door step. The top of the milk would have cream on it! Shiok man. :) OH U OPENED IT!! The balcony is lovely. :)
I also stayed in a hotel in Earl's Court previously. Its convenient to get to airport but far from the tourist areas. Opp where you stayed is Gregg's. They have very delicious minced pie. I bought a dozen when I came back to Singapore.
It’s autumn in London. The sunny period around June to Aug. Otherwise it’s usually gloomy. As for breakfast, u should go Bayswater Along Queensway near Queens Street Station try out Granier Bakery got very nice breads, croissant apple pies,
Nice place that u are staying. Is it convenient to move around and is it safe? Maybe, will stay at this place as the price and place looks good. Thanks for bringing us around. It is as if we are there also.
YES. You are right about depression in UK. I had that then. Summer is fine coz the days are nice and long but winter, which was when I arrived in Brighton, was such a short day. Plus shops closed early and it was incredibly dreary. About food- the first food I had was North Indian table buffet with my dad. He made a mistake. He forgot it was in pounds and not sing dollars lol. It was 3x exchange rate then so our dinner turned out to be supppper duper expensive!! The exchange rate being so unfavourable then made it scary at first & my senior in school advised me to stop converting non stop or it would drive me nuts. Lol.
The clocks changed a few weeks ago, I know you couldn’t come earlier in the year but you would have got a few extra hours of daylight in Sep/Oct. The weather has also changed, as autumn and soon winter arrives, but in London it mostly stays mild with some snow.
Pretty sure it's Kensington not Kingston... There's a Kensington Park Road in Singapore at Serangoon Gardens. It's the address of Chomp Chomp Food Centre. Just to add on, I believe it's suppose to be ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor, 3 floor etc... I just googled and got it: "In British English, the floor of a building which is level with the ground is called the ground floor... In American English, the floor which is level with the ground is called the first floor, the floor above it is the second floor, and so on."
You are staying in the Uk For a month? How much will you need to bring inclusive of air tickets(2 ways), pcr art tests both ways , food and accomodation?
Oh wow, no kidding. You guys are in London. Aiyoh, worry for you all you know. Pls take all the precautions esp masks and sanitising your hands frequently. Their infection figures are super high and nobody is wearing masks, oh my gosh! I know the ang moh countries have their human rights. But this is abt life and death, not human rights lah, aiyoh. Anyway, you are taking the risks on our behalf, lol *devil's horn* 🤣😘. So we your viewers get to travel yet without the actual travel and risks *devil's horn*, lol😁😁. I like it when you said "aiyoh", "mrt" and not tube, coz that's how I would say it too. It's our language, no one does it like we do lol👍💘😄. BTW like the view of your balcony and the surroundings yah. I am watching out for your videos on this London trip💘😇.
I hope the restaurant you're eating at today/tonight is not Salt Bae's restaurant as I have read it is totally not worth the price. You can get better steaks elsewhere.

Stayed in a more expensive hotel in London too. The staff unhelpful too. But surprising I find retail including F &B staff friendly and helpful.

Go eat Roast duck at Gold Mine - 100 Queensway....visit the Peak District in Sheffield, ride a carriage by the sea in Blackpool..

Old Chang Kee is the Gregg's of Singapore I have always thought.
Oh my I miss London! Enjoy! 😀
MRT is the Tube, underground in London. I'm enjoying watching your video.
It's like those business hotels in Japan with small sizes but mid-range prices, the important part of these hotels are its location.

Yes summer is the best- loooong days. Sun sets around 9pm on the much longer days. Lol.
That M&S milk is available in SG M&S too and I remembered it's around $2
If u head to Leadenhall Market’s (off Lime St) u can get very nice food at Chamberlain. Very good seafood & reasonable price with very good service.
Co- Op not cope. Co - Op (like operation). Short for cooperative I think.
Nice place that u are staying. Is it convenient to move around and is it safe? Maybe, will stay at this place as the price and place looks good. Thanks for bringing us around. It is as if we are there also.
Yeah it feels safe! Not many restaurants around though

I have guessed you & your wife are going to London but why there when there are so high covid cases & it is nearing winter.
It's small. As long as one do not have claustrophobic and not for those big size ppl.
london weather is very bad in the winter.
You are staying in the Uk For a month? How much will you need to bring inclusive of air tickets(2 ways), pcr art tests both ways , food and accomodation?
I’ll make an edited video on Ghib Ojisan 😁
They don’t call MRT in London but Tube

オーストラリアの都市は、これに犬猫を足した感じ🐶🐱
Did u realise the milk in the supermarket is cheaper than mineral water?
Not "very very" cheap in London. There are hotel rooms in Central London within a 20 walk from Soho for under 50 pounds.
4 days n u donno what to do?!! There is so many things to do n see! (Lived there for 3 yrs.)
