I’m not insanely upset about Mega Rayquaza being an elite raid. I think because Rayquaza is a very special Mega alongside Mewtwo it is expected to have some exclusivity
I am going to assume when Mega Mewtwo comes out they’ll do something similar

When it was announced that mega Rayquaza was coming back to raids my thought was maybe I would have a chance to get a shiny now not so exciting unless it changes thankfully I have a mega Rayquaza and it's 1 of my max level megas but aside from that it looks like next month is going to be interesting

Only a select few gyms can have Elite Raids, in-person only so no remote invites, 24-hour hatch time that is only available for an hour so doesn't spawn very many at a time

Ugh the best dragon in the game is stuck behind Elite Raids to be honest if that is not an epic failure and half baked then I don’t know what is. To be fair I like the fact that they kept it rare that is cool but the Elite raids as a mega is not cool at all. However I love every event they do but I’m saving a lot of money for the first event I’m not going to buy the limited research for it. Otherwise I’m down for all things. Not doing the Zapdos raid hour every other raid hour sure no problem. The bonuses are not very good but everything else is stacked which is what I like. I demand Niantic change their minds about Ray Ray. Or Rayquaza for that matter until they do I ain’t do no stinking elite raids nor do I plan to do them. There are two ways I have. 1 is an Elite Remote raid pass so that the community can do them from anywhere and reduce the prices to about 150 poke coins and the limit should be axed. 2. Is a Misty raid pass (unrelated to Misty) as soon as u close in too about 1000 yards or 500 meters then u get one then u can do one after that. With it u can have an option of live raiding or remote raiding. Anyway see ya and keep up the good work.

NIANTIC have a unique knack of doing something stupid, then creating what appears to be a great new season....and then putting Mega Ray in Elite raids, to totally destroy any of the good will they may have just created.....I genuinely believe Niantic is ru by lemmings, and they just keep on jumping off the cliff🤷♂️🤷♂️

99% of their community can only do raids thanks to remote raiding, its pathetic how niantic are trying to phase it out when its the only thing keeping the game going. unless you live in an extremely popular city, its impossible.
This season is trash. 5 stars are good but we just had all of those Megas. Research Breakthrough continues to suck. Mega Ray in elite raids and not a raid day? On top of all that, no Galar. Ugh.

June is looking to be a really shitty start to the new season. Repeats of megas we literally just got, and now Rayquaza is in-person only. Good job Niantic, you fucked up again.
You need to give that 100% Zapdos Thunder Shock. Its a Legacy Fast Move but it makes it much better for raids and pvp. You maxed it out, you might as well make it worth using.
Imagine this were basketball....would we tolerate them moving the basket across town between each shot, which essentially what elite raids are, no we would laugh and go home because the idea is stupid.
Niantic better thank Arceus that they landed pokemon because these types of ideas in any other game wouldn't fly.
Sorry to sound rude but why do you say rayquaza as ray-quay-za? There is only 1 Y in the pokemon's name.
