Hey, I remembered about it but their website was down when I was editing and not as informative so, I opted to skip it. I do know about NCBA Loop and I don't doubt its a good bank too.
I love this so much! Thank YOU! I recently was struggling with this research and settled with KCB...wish i had seen this before..it would have saved my time. Now, i want to know which banks let you open a business/personal account online ...bila kuenda Kwa Banki! ps: subscribing coz yeah! loving all of your content!
Hey Kevin and Rarin, I don't know a bank that opens accounts solely online. So far, all banks require you to go to a branch to verify your documents to facilitate account opening. However, thank you for joining the ONR family.
This ia amazing content. You are the only one with anything talking about credit and business credit in East Africa.Been binge watching American banks. Keep on keeping on.You do know there is a difference between the words credit and loan Nkirote...? Loans are amortized one time access but credit is simple interest and revolving in nature. The former doesnt contribute to your business/personal credit score. But the latter does and you don't even need collateral. For a loan you need to put down collateral every time you need to access the money for business credit your credit history does all the heavy lifting for you.

No that's not possible. A bank can only open an account for you after you've registered the business, otherwise, they can't be sure if the business account will share the same name when you decide to register.
I am always looking forward to watching your videos. Research points 10/10 😎
Thank you Diana. Yay to more uploads coming through...
Ever since I discovered you I always find myself watching anything by you...I know if one day I make it you shall be part of it...
Awww...thanks. I appreciate your kind words. Let's keep up the grind in whatever we do, we shall make it indeed.

You forgot about NCBA. Which is a really good fit for young entrepreneurs. Otherwise, thank you for the detailed information.

@@IslamicNationChannel__Somali Check with I&M, DTB or Equity.
Hey Nkirote, would you do an overview for dollar accounts in Kenya, for those of us who ship from abroad and the dollar rates are so unfavourable 3:00
I use DTB for dollar and euro accounts.
But for making online purchases, I use ABSA Prepaid card.
The video is very informative, research well done.
Thank you Olive

Hey darling what about Non Kenyans
I am based in Kenya, and, therefore, knowledgeable about banks in my area.
Which bank is best for students
I used ABSA as a student. Still there.
Is there a way how I can open an account with a business name lakini bado sija register business
No that's not possible. A bank can only open an account for you after you've registered the business, otherwise, they can't be sure if the business account will share the same name when you decide to register.
Is there a way a foreign student in Kenya can open an account ?
I heard it's virtually impossible until you show up physically to the bank.
Is this the same process if you are a student
Yes it doesn’t matter.
As a non resident which bank can I open with and what are the requirements
You would have to first apply for a KRA pin for you to get a bank account as a non resident. Once you get it, you can then get a bank account.
Can you please guide me on how to get the KRA pin or send me the link
