I saw the Stones here in Brussels Vorst Nationaal. Wow! Long time ago. They were young. Me too. What an experience. The girls were fighting to be next to them. Mick Jagher was great. So the performance. ❤❤❤😊😊😊
One of the memories of 1965 was sitting in the back seat of my dad's 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS hardtop and listening to Go now by the Moody Blues as they were in 1965!!!!.
Just missed it (born in 1972) but heard tons of 60s and 70s music on the local radio station, which now is talk radio 🙁 My favorites were 70s classics like “Thank God I’m a Country Boy” and “Copacabana”, but I enjoyed the 60s hits enough to recognize and sing along with nearly every song in the PBS Pop-Rock Reunion!
Probably the the key year for popular music to think about the likes of the Beatles at their best, the stones becoming more popular ,the British invasion, and folk rock with bands such as the BYRD'S, Association, seekers, and many more . And the L.A. music scene. & Of course bob Dylan ,And it was so important to the music that would follow in the 1970s and 1980s. ... drummer man mike, I played drums in the 1980s in a street fairs clubs band silver wings ✈️ test flight, as we was doing it then, we was learning it from the 1960s bands.
In December 1965, I saw the DC5 at Miami Beach Convention Hall. It was a week before Over and Over hit Number 1. I was 16. What a great time for music. Where did it go? I lament.
I was 17 in August, 1965, on the beach at St. Simons, Ga. when I heard, “You Were on my Mind” for the first time. I was getting ready to start Auburn Univ. where I spent four incredibly happy years. A truly blessed time to grow up.😊
The Kinks and The Who were game changers for me. The Byrds, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and Eric Burdon and The Animals -- added to an incredible mix. Garage bands too -- The Sonics and The Wailers (out of Washington state).
My wife and I went to loads of concerts---saw the Stones, the Dead, Cream, the Airplane, Jethro Tull, Janis, Jimi, Zappa, Dylan, Deep Purple, Beach Boys, CCR, BB King, Ten Years After. Live music was the best!
I did, too. Had to go back to listen to the songs again uninterrupted. Oh, well. It's a little thing in the big scheme. 😊 Have a good weekend everyone. Stay safe, happy and healthy. 😊😊Peace and love! ❤😊❤❤❤

Esta música y sus videos, trae recuerdos preciosos, no dejemos que deje de sonar, sin embargo, tengo la impresión que alguien quiere sabotear tu canal, quiero decir, en medio de una canción sonaba otra. Si me equivoco, mis disculpas.
I had the Anyway Anyhow Anywhere and Can't Explain singles. I also had Shaking All Over by the Guess Who. I thought they were the same band. Live At Leeds reinforced the confusion.
Sonny & Cher me font marrer car à la TV ils se regardent tendrement en souriant comme deux amoureux énamourés alors qu'ils se détestent de façon épidermique.
I listened to all of “California Girls” with no Donovan, but CG came in on the second verse of D’s song and lasted until the second verse of “Unchained Melody”, leaving fans of “Ghost” weeping. 😢

Not the other way around unless you think thoughts and ideas are in control. 3. You are looking for a scapegoat to blame what you perceive as a degradation of society.
So, word on the street is that the Donovan song was goofed up? To those folks who are screaming from the mountain tops and sounding the warning ad nauseam: Let it go already. 🤦🏻♂️😑
They went to town with studio sets... When set design was all carpentry and painters not some committee of dozy Web designers with A. I. apps.. Good example is the beautiful set created just Julie Tippets Season of the witch.. Proper artwork made by human beings.. Such artists have long been unemployed and I just don't believe that cliche that A. I. design is much cheaper.. Not in the long term, once the human artists have been fully removed from the equation, guess what?! the goddamn robots up their prices... Everybody has their price... UP YOURS!!!!
I saw The Rolling Stones in Long Beach CA in 1964 when I was 16, great memories

The year of Rock really was born
I was 8, and my young life was the best any child could have wished for, and the music wasn't bad either.🤩🤩🥰🥰
I saw THE WHO on the Smothers Brothers in 1969. Were you alive yet?
Yep, I just graduated from Pasadena City College. I’ve also been to the Smother Brother’s winery in Sonoma County.

Many thanks for publicating that really great and incredible show of musician of sixties. Greetings from Warsaw, Poland
I was 8 years old and my parents taking us 3 boys to a drive-in theater to see Help.
AWESOMEEEEEEE! MUSIC AND TIME! You get EMOTIONAL HEARING THIS!
Love everything 50's & 60's. Born too late.
The Kinks and The Who were game changers for me. The Byrds, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and Eric Burdon and The Animals -- added to an incredible mix. Garage bands too -- The Sonics and The Wailers (out of Washington state).

@andyknoedler-vz2rt I know they came along a few years later but did you ever have the privilege of seeing ZEPPELIN?!!!!.
Great memories. Thank you! ❤
What a year. Perhaps the best ever.
I attended Bklyn Tech in the 60s and
friends playing this gig.
Anyone else get the Beach Boys coming in again half way through Donovan´s and part of Unchained Melody?
Sadly, yes. I thought I was crazy
Yes. indeed. It sent me to 1969.😊
twas meant to be, 5 guys who harmonize beautifully vs a great lyricist who can't sing worth a dam , i enjoyed it
I did, too. Had to go back to listen to the songs again uninterrupted. Oh, well. It's a little thing in the big scheme. 😊 Have a good weekend everyone. Stay safe, happy and healthy. 😊😊Peace and love! ❤😊❤❤❤
@@mxherroDonovan, not Dylan...😊
Excelente gracias por tan buena música ❤❤❤❤
Каждый год появлялись новые группы и новые исполнители . И они отличались между собой Каждый год появлялись новые ❤
Love the videos, hits and other facts shared in these videos. Great footage! 👍💎❤
Thank you so much for bringing back the memories ❤😊
November 1965. My lovely wife was born! 😍
Sweet. I'm August, 1961.😊
@terrysalminen4951: Cool! I was born November '63! 😂
Let's all be disreputable oldies together! 👍
It's unfortunate that California Girls replayed during Donovan 's song, "Catch the Wind"😒
El show de Peter es catastrofal de hazme reir como de malo. Aunque fueron una de mus Bandas favoritas...😂😂😂
take your "wet words" back to the sand-stone hole you crawled out of and stay

I was 12. In England. I remember it all.
Too bad about the sound mess-up ay 30 mins
At 30:03 "California Girls" begins to play again overtop the other songs.
Ezt elbasztam... 🙂🙃
The #1 hit for me was the cadence song of the Drill Instructor, in boot camp.
😂😂THE Animals look so tame, but they weren't!😂
Beach Boys play over Donovan's Catch the wind???????😮
Generazione musicalmente unica e irripetibile.
Thanks For Sharing!
I feel nice like sugar and spice....cinnamon .....what a great singer. I feel good.
Love the cordless instruments.
Записи уникальные!Вот это настоящая музыка и исполнители!Супер!❤❤❤

Love them all, thanks.
me too
thats not the beatles singing in that help video
Wonder what that was all about.
I have my doubts about that Dylan song too....
Pretty lame!
Yes it is the Beatles, not the studio recording though. You hear George´s backing vocals with Paul very clearly at one point.
Cover group doing this song. Pretty stupid video.
All the rose colored memories of those times. Viet Nam was just around the corner and black folks still had to sit at the back of the bus and so on.
Alle hits grosse klasse weiter so😊😊😊

I had the Anyway Anyhow Anywhere and Can't Explain singles. I also had Shaking All Over by the Guess Who. I thought they were the same band. Live At Leeds reinforced the confusion.
Glitch report: Around minute 31:00 you have two songs overlayed.
A volte penso che chi come noi ha vissuto quei tempi, siamo stati davvero fortunati.
Great sounds the mad monk is back one cool dude
One wasn’t having it, she chose to rock it
ahhh wie ich diese Zeit vemisse !
I saw the WHO in 69 when I was 15 or 16. Keith Moon scared me and I thought that I had damaged my ears. The bass player was cool tho.
Sonny & Cher me font marrer car à la TV ils se regardent tendrement en souriant comme deux amoureux énamourés alors qu'ils se détestent de façon épidermique.
There's two songs playing at the same time, Beach Boys and a folk singer that sounds like Bob Dylan.
Donovan
Nigel in Canada🇨🇦
KINKS , Petula Clark
The only problem with this video is that The Who's performance on The Smothers Brothers show was in September of 1967
The only other problem is that is not John Lennon singing
@@goodbababadbaba6370 Yep, it was obvious.
No entiende q se subio hace 7 dias ,es chiquito.
Big deal
But it was released in 1965, valid enough for me
Many of these are either 1966 or 1967
Nice blend. Totaly polyrithmic as life.
The best channel ever! Thank you!❤❤

I sure liked Sonny's intelligence!
Great music ❤
It's Not Unusual was top charted from both side of Atlantic an the world
Cuando cantan No son the beatles.
The rendition of "Help" is not by The Beatles.
Doesn't sound like The Beatles on the recording here.
Hendricks stole smashing instruments from Pete!!!
Born in 1965!
То что делали с музыкальными инструментами THE WHO настоящее варварство ! Как такое могло нравиться публике ?
Totally screwed up Donovan.
РЕСПЕКТ +1500!!!
Why is it that the Beatles video after The Who is dubbed over by another band ?
Regardless. Let's accept it. Let's forgive others as we forgive a child.
donavan turns into the small faces, quality control man
It was the Beach Boys again.
Please add the songs to the playlist that were featured in the background.
It was a hit in 1965.
Pour les Beatles, c'est un cover....
❤🎶👏😍
then you play beach boys over donavan's song, there is no quality control
Plus the weird version of Help by the Beatles. WTF?
Plus those still pics they drop in at the worst possible time. Missed most of Entwhistle’s solo on My Generation. .
I listened to all of “California Girls” with no Donovan, but CG came in on the second verse of D’s song and lasted until the second verse of “Unchained Melody”, leaving fans of “Ghost” weeping. 😢
“Unchained Melody” was used in “Ghost.”

This isn t Lennon voice!

there slipping in fake Beatles here.
Agree.
I noticed that also, John has a more soulful voice

Interesting sound sources. Sounds like many of the tracks are true stereo, even those that were never released that way????
a very interesting version of 'Like a Rolling Stone" what album is that from?
TV-serie Payton Place was 1965 ?

Wow! Multi confusion.
Great mix of wonderful videos, except for the cover audios of Beatles songs. Guess you ran into copyright problems with the original audio tracks.
