When I was a young girl I read my mothers old copy of “Little Woman” because she had read it when she was my age, and Im sure, just as she had, made myself into a sort of Jo. My mom has since passed away, and I have inherited all her old books and treasures. I have also inherited her love for the past, for the outdoors, for baking, and for family. That is what your brand represents to me- family. It reminds me of the connection between me and my mom, and her old copy of “Little Woman” that sits tattered on my shelf

I find it fascinating to find spaces such as the textile brand "Little Women Atelier" where each design of their dresses is inspired by the March sisters, evoking the beauty of the past and turning them into timeless garments. What a beautiful conversation you can have with literature, having as an answer another idea to perpetuate the spirit of what dazzled us when we opened and enjoyed a book.

As the youngest of 3 sisters, little women holds a warm place in my heart and wearing little women atelier reminds me of the inspiring stories that women have to tell. As well as their ethos of sustainability, each garment feels special and it's like receiving a package made with love.
For as long as I can remember, I only wanted to wear dresses. Classic, cottage-style ones; they made me feel so beautiful-magical, even.
Then, growing up into a teen, society convinced me that dresses were for special occassions only. Classic styles made you an outcast in the world of fashion. You should fit in with everyone else's style, and not stand out too much.
Now, at 27 years, I am finally stepping into my own self. I am finally working up the courage to wear what I ACTUALLY want, and what makes me feel so beautiful. It makes me feel myself, at last!
Little Women Atelier's style is everything I ever wished for. Your dresses are my younger selves' biggest dream. I so hope to own one, soon.

I am a young mom, my baby girl is nine months old. Becoming a mother made me think deeply about what I want to teach my daughter in life. Taking care of what you possess, respecting the things you own, using long-lasting and high-quality objects and clothes are a few of the things I will definitely teach her. The dresses from Little Women Atelier are the perfect example I could think of to show her what I mean. Beautiful, high quality... it is all about cherishing what you have, even if you don't have much to start with. Wearing a Little Women Atelier dress is like putting on a dream and then living in one. A dream so beautiful and lovely, one that teaches you the importance of slow and sustainable living. The inspiration behind the dresses is what pulled me in, and the meaning behind them is what keeps me here, in love with everything LWA does.
Such a lovely family business story. Everything it's made with so much care and attention. Imagine a world where the owner would not start this journey, all the beauty that their clothes bring to the life of each person that wears them, and each person that sees them, all gone. A strong message for each one of us to follow our instincts and make our wishes come true.
As one of four sisters, Little Women has always meant so much to me. I was introduced to the abridged version at school when I was 12 and then the full version by my mother at age 13 when she gifted it to me for my birthday and told me it was her very favorite childhood book. I immediately saw myself in firey Jo with her temper, distaste for marriage, and her great love of horses, books, and writing. She was the very first fictional character I remember reading about and saying “hey! That’s me exactly!” Im 23 now and often revisit Little Women (and the subsequent books) for comfort and guidance. It remains my favorite novel of all time. So you can only imagine my elation when I found your clothing that is not only named after my favorite book and characters, but captures all the cozy, homey, comforting feelings I’ve come to associate with Little Women. Every reread of Little Women feels like coming home, good hug from a dear friend, and all the childhood days I spent laughing with my sisters. Perusing about your shop feels much the same.
Little Women has always had a special place in my heart. I adore seeing Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy grow into kind women. Your dresses truly capture the beautiful message of slow living, finding beauty, working joyfully, and taking care of others the book showcases. My discovery of LWA was a happy accident. I love that as a family you started a business that encourages less environmental waste, and buying quality pieces that can last long amounts of time and could be passed down to future generations. I used to make all my own dresses in the style of the period books I was reading growing up. Such a lovely idea to create a brand based on beloved characters in classic literature. The natural linen and wool fabrics and feminine and flattering designs are a beautiful contribution to girls and women who love the look and feel of this vintage aesthetic.

My mommy would read Little Woman, Little House in the Prairie, and Anne of Green Gables to me before bed when I was younger. She taught me how to sew and, thru musical theatre experience, I’ve gained a love of historical dress for every day, especially twirly dresses. ☺️ My daughters and I adore your clothing and overall style. I think your brand is incredible because it enables us to ‘shapeshift’ in a way - we can go to the fantasy worlds we read about in stories and experience it for real. Doing a simple thing like wearing a dress or a skirt or a blouse might not seem like a big deal, but it gives us a wonderful feeling - we feel that we are as brave and kind and beautiful as our favourite character. The garments are truly gentle and feminine, inspired by past days and memories. In addition, the natural fabric connects us to nature, which we have become a bit detached with. When I learned about Little Women Atelier it was like: Wow, someone made o whole brand out of a book! I was so surprised and intrigued. When I then saw the designs I fell in love. The dresses are so timeless and classic, that wearing them for many years will not change their beauty. I yearned for dressing more like in older times, but only in the recent years history bounding was a thing. I think you perfectly summed up all the beauty of historical, practical and elegant garments in your brand. It's so wonderful to see that behind LWA is a whole family and an ethical workspace, not only a factory to produce and make profits. When I was really little I loved dresses. When I was 5 i had a bad experience where I wore a fancy dress to a birthday party, to which I was the only girl invited. After that I refused to wear a dress for the rest of my childhood and most of my teen years. I am finally rediscovering my love of dresses. The ones from Little Women Atelier are so gently feminine that I feel an echo of my childhood love of dresses without feeling like I'm dressing like a child

I love your brand because it is modest, beautiful, features rich colors, and every single item makes me feel beautiful and perfectly dressed whether I'm baking bread, doing laundry, going to church, or to lunch with a friend. I strive, as a wife, mother and homemaker to care for all my responsibilities while still dressing in a becoming, feminine way. In my view, being a homemaker is not an excuse to look dowdy, frumpy or messy. Every single item from your brand allows me to achieve the modest, beautiful, put together look I want all while being functional and standing up to all the cooking, cleaning, washing, etc that I do.
Little women is one is my favorite books, and to find a company that makes beautiful garments inspired by the book, and that I know has been made with care, thought, and beautiful, healthy materials, makes all the difference. I really like the vision of clothing as an item of value. I think it is important for us to remember the worth of our actions, such as the process of buying. To buy something that can be passed on and be given as a present instead of passing on with the intention to get rid of something. I love that your company is family based and has a place for everyone, where they can bring in their own strengths.
I love my LWA dress! It's soft, it's extremely comfortable, and I look absolutely stunning in it! It's also a small brand in my country, and I'm trying to support such brands instead of huge international corporations, and this video clearly illustrates why that's a right thing to do.

As someone who is deeply fond of dress design, I do enjoy variety in a brand’s clothing styles, but I appreciate the fact that you are not constantly launching new collections but instead producing classic, well-loved designs steadily and with attention to quality. I feel like this influences customers to be a little more mindful and less inclined to panic buying a piece for the sake of exclusivity. Not that there’s anything wrong with making designs extra detailed and exclusive! But your clothes provide comfort and are designed to be lived in, and that’s what I love about your brand.

I admire the way that you create such amazing clothing! You put there the real meaning of being a modest woman and mix it with love of nature. The colors of your dresses are stunning and reminds me of earthiness and all of the seasons. They reminds me of my childhood when I spent holidays in my grandma's garden... Picking apples from trees, eating sweet strawberries, feeding chickens, collecting hay, picking potatoes, running with my grandma's dog, walking with my grandpa who was leading his cow to the grassfield, having fun with ducks... I really miss that time. Now I am adult and live in a big city. Some day I will move to countryside again. Your dresses reminds me of all of good things in the past. 😊

The empowerment towards women that it provides encouragement that I can be the independent Jo, the confident Amy, the strong and responsible Meg, and the sweet and gentle Beth. I love your brand because it is so family orientated, which is amazing to see as not many small businesses are like that nowadays. Fast fashion could never compare to hand sewn garments as beautiful as yours and your brand exceeds the quality of even many small business in the same area of expertise. I first learned of LWA on Etsy and was struck by the whimsical, cozy style of the dresses. I identified very strongly with the book, Little Women, growing up, and hold the story close to my heart. Sisters and family characterized the Marches, and I am so intrigued to see how it characterizes your business as well. The thought of being able to face your ventures with the company and support of your family is so warming. The account of how LWA came to be is a beautiful story in and of itself.

I fell in love with this brand as soon as I saw them. I remember hunting all over the Internet trying to find where I can buy these beutuiful dresses. I love the way the dresses will suite almost any occasion. From cleaning around the house to going to afternoon tea. I love how sustainable the brand is. How it doesn't support fast fashion. How it lets you buy the dresses at your own pace. I personally can not yet afford to buy a dress but you can bet I am saving up my money so I can prance around in one of these beauties some day. Having worked at an Edwardian time period heritage site in Canada, I love the simplicity of the fashion and that it was very about what was trend when but what could I make myself and everyone took pride in that. I've been following the LWA Instagram for quite some time and I have always been fascinated with the warmth and beauty of the posts. Beautiful video! I was raised in the far north of Canada by a librarian mother and Little Women is one of her all time favourite books, thus my name! I love the LWA brand because it reflects the things I learned to love as a child, but celebrates who I am as a woman today and the things that matter to me. I value sustainability and believe that we need to work together for a better future which means suporting brands that produce clothes that are gentle on the earth, ethically made, and that will last! But the thing that makes LWA special is that they do this AND make dresses that are beautiful, romantic, imminently wearable, comfortable, and make me feel so special! It is hard to believe one can get so much from a dress!

I fell in love with your clothes when I was searching for sewing patterns of clothes inspired by Little Women. Each garment is beautiful and tells a story. I love that they are Little Women inspired. It is my absolute favorite book. It has brought me so much joy to know that there is a community of people who also love Little Women and the values it teaches. I never thought I would find a clothing brand that would actually encompass everything I wanted, but Little Women Atelier does it perfectly.

I really love what your brand stands for. Its values are very much the same as my own. Little women has always had a big part of my life. I have read the book literally hundred times, watched the movies many times and I just love how the clothing makes me feel like they are made for me, they make me feel like I'm home.
