Hello, dears! How is your summer going? We are enjoying our school holidays and trying to go hiking to immerse ourselves in the beautiful nature of our state. Additionally, we are reading a lot of books. What are your favorite books this season? We are very interested to know!
My soon-to-be eleven year old friend and I are reading Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House series. She is reading the books for the first time, while I have probably read them dozens of times!
I'm currently reading Olga Da Polga by Michael Bond to my children. It's a sweet story about a guinea pig, and she's hilarious - we laugh out loud while reading. :)
Isn't it incredible how the things we loved as children can still bring us so much joy and nostalgia as adults? I'm so lucky to experience a second childhood with my daughters! 🌞

My dear Luiza, the video is more than wonderful! 🌼 The playhouse is so cute, the things you decorated it with are very lovely and picking blueberries looks so beautiful! The blueberry muffins look absolutely delicious and I'm sure the taste is to match. And the scene at the end where your girls are playing is so gorgeous!🥰 I also did, two months ago, together with my friend a day in which we lived as Anne. I was Anne and she was Diana. Together, we dressed up and did each other's hair, just like Anne and Diana did when they were getting ready to go to concerts. Then we cooked together your recipes from the picnic video and had a picnic in a rose garden. We relived together the moments we were reading, from each volume. It was a great day! I'm glad to see that you too had a day like this.🙂 As for the books we've been reading lately, I read a lot. I re-read "An Old Fashioned Girl" by Louisa May Alcott and fell in love with it! "Ballet Shoes" by Noel Streatfield is very beautiful. I also really liked "Paint the wind" by Pam Muñoz Ryan (because I love horses and riding). ” The Borrowers” by Mary Norton is also very nice. ☺📖 And of course I re-read the entire Anne of Green Gables series for the thousandth time.😅 And a something funny: I talked to my younger sister today, who told me "I think Luiza is making a new video" and I told her that I was looking forward to see it. After about an hour, a notification appears on my phone that you have uploaded a new video. We were so happy that I shouted throughout the house, "A new LWA video!”.😁 So, thank you so so much for this wonderful video! You made my day with it. Sending a lot of love!😘🌻💛

What an enchanting childhood you're creating for your girls! It's inspiring! If I ever get the chance to chat with you personally, I'd love to connect you with a dear friend in the Skagit Valley who lives in a lovely old house surrounded by lovely gardens, who raised her daughters with a similar environment. They all grew up to be so talented - a seamstress, an artist, a musician. I adored visiting their home, sipping a cup of tea, and reading the titles of books in their library. Before we moved away, my children loved playing in their mud kitchen outside and swinging on the swings in their giant old trees.

I remember reading many of those books to my kids (now adults). Add the Betsy Tacy series of books in for your girls if you have not done so. I spent 16 years homeschooling and much longer reading to my four children. I kept my list of all the books we read and kept track of their reading until they did that themselves. My oldest still keeps her reading log at age 28. She likes to look back at all she has read over the years. She was an English/Creating Writing major in college. I had just sent a link for an audio version of Tumtum and Nutmeg on you tube to my goddaughter's mama last week. Funny to see that in your pile. I have so many good memories of reading to kids and hearing "just one more chapter". Enjoy! I do love your little play house.

Discovering Anne of Green Gables is wonderful. I feel the other books afterwards are more aimed for women, as I have read them all, but that first book is a classic every girl should read. I recommend the book "Pollyanna" too. The playhouse is so sweet and pretty!!

Hello! Yes, I really wear these clothes everywhere: on the street, for walks in the park near my house, to the store, to my children's school, to doctor's appointments. I feel confident and comfortable in these clothes. I have a couple of regular t-shirts and athletic pants, but the rest of my wardrobe is filled with our linen garments. They fit perfectly into my everyday life, and I can easily match them with modern accessories. I have never encountered a negative reaction to how I dress; people often give compliments and ask about the dress or fabric, so I share our website's contact details.
