- Thought I'd make a guide for our favorite nun ideal for newer players looking for how to build her or veterans that never got around to it.
I think she still has uses, even if they are a bit niche. She's definitely worth building early on as she removes the need to cook healing food entirely.
She also has a lot of build diversity which I try to cover in the video as well.

Barbara is truly unique in this game. She gets a five star burst animation, had her voice lines "fixed," she was the first four star character to get an alternate skin, thanks to a bug early on in Sumeru she did enormous amounts of damage via Bloom, and so on.
Edit: I forgot, she's the only(?) example of two playable female characters being voiced by the same person in english along with Xinyan.
Similar to how Xingqiu and Bennett are voiced by the same person.
I forgot about the voiceline changes since I use JP voices.
she probably doesn't get a character trial because everyone gets her guaranteed for free after beating the mondstadt archon quest or something like that
Yeah it’s weird: Barbara has no trial but she can also appear in rate-up (unlike Kaeya, Amber, and Lisa who have never been rate up)
@@studiesinflux1304 cause Barbara was originally supposed to be a limited time into standard like Sara is for Raiden, but five star and for Jean. However Hoyo saw everyone needing a dedicated healer, and so modified her into 4 star and gave us her for free.

yes....! i have been using full EM for some time even b4 dendro came out i did use her in EC team on full EM.. with dendro full EM barb gets even better...

Just got Barbara from the storyline. Good to see she is worth investing in. Is she good for early game. I only have Adventurer, Kaeya, Amber, Noelle, Barbara and Lisa. Just turned AR 20. Ty for the vid!

Not true I use her in my Scaramouche boss fight
She is in a team with yelan. Sucrose and xiangling. Hits for 20 to 40k charged attacks when i want her to. Yelan does the heavy lifting but boss fights, it is all Barbara with their support.
I got a c6 Barbi while pulling for Neuvi so I wanna try building her for Alhaitham Hyperbloom with 4 four-piece instructor and thrilling tales. Any suggestions on the substats and what main stats to use?
For hyperbloom, it's the Electro unit that triggers the reaction so they need as much EM as possible.
Since Barbara is not the trigger in this team, you can just build her as a healer or sub dps since Hyperbloom damage is not affected by ATK%/Crit Rate/DMG. It only takes account of the person triggering the reaction's EM.
With the release of Arlechinno.... A Barbara on Song of Day Past artifact and Thrilling tales weapon sounds good as it buffs Arle Normal and Charge Attacks. Any thoughts?
As long as you know that Arlecchino won't be getting much value from Barbara's healing during combat, sure.
So looking at the 2pc sets for Maidens Beloved & Ocean-Hued Clam, Is there a difference between them? and if there is what is it?
Maiden Beloved: 15% Healing Effectiveness
Ocean-Hued Clam: 15% Healing Bonus
Good question. There isn't a difference, they do the same thing.

I wonder why if the 2pc sets for them do the same thing, why would HoYo label them differently?
No idea! But yeah I looked up your question and several Reddit threads said they're pretty much the same. It could just be an oversight since Maiden's Beloved is such an old artifact set they simply forgot the wording they used.

Hi, Pneuma and Ousia are basically Yin and Yang and it depends in what context. Also I have a guide on the Spiral Abyss that you can check out instead of a guide for Barbara.
