I came across this cover after watching Lady GaGa sing it. I then watched a few cover versions by James Arthur and a few others and were not impressed. Then listened to this version by Claire and was blown away. Stunning performance and pitch perfect. Claire's control is easily a match for Gaga's and this is a live performance, not in a studio with the benefit of sound editing like Gaga's single has.
At the end Claire hopes we liked it? LIKED IT CLAIRE? I loved it. Just brilliant.

Well, what shall I say... I absolutely love Gaga singing this and I always shudder when I see someone else attempting to sing this, I have never heard anyone do it justice. That is until today! Claire, you have respected the original whilst just giving it a few small personal touches that are subtle but work. I loved the finger click, that showed me just how much in the zone of the moment and the lyrics... you were in! Your vocals easily match the Gaga’s and actually your voices have a very similar quality. I have always been a fan of your vocal ability (Queen of the night Aria for example) and I sincerely hope you get the songs you so rightly deserve to sing. Thank you for proving to me that someone else can sing this song and I look forward to your next solo album.

I was just thinking the same, I’ve heard others sing this song, but nobody usual gets anywhere lady ga-ga’s quality. Claire’s vocal ability is amazing.
I keep coming back to this. Claire's use of light and shade she puts into the song is just second to none. Married with big belts, gives the song a new dimension. Absolutely stunning. 👌🏼
