- A church with a chapel fit for a king! All Saints, North Moreton, is a 12th and 13th century church with a south chapel built by stonemasons who worked on Westminster Abbey. The 14th century glass in the east window of the chapel survives practically intact, and there is other medieval glass in the church, which was restored in the 19th century.
I grew up in North Moreton and come from a family of bell ringers, my late farther was tower captain for many years as was his farther, I myself used to also ring, whilst the family grave plot is at South Moreton Church, my dad wanted to be buried at North Moreton so he could forever hear the bells, also my late partners ashes are interred outside the famous east window where the cremation plots are, such a lovely spot and so comforting to the family that she is at peace in such a beautiful place.
