@@NathanEllery The songs "We Can Fly from Here Part I & Part II" as well as "Riding a Tide" were written during the time Geoff and Trevor joined Yes for the Drama album in 1980, making them originally Yes songs. In fact, during the Drama Tour in 1980, Yes actually played Fly From Here during some of their shows. It was first released on The Word is Live boxset in 2005. The songs did not appear on the late 1981 Buggles' Adventures in Modern Recording until a reissue in 2010, and they are demo version bonus tracks. Also to prove it Adventures in Modern Recording also has another song on it from the Drama sessions I am a Camera, which was originally released on Drama as Into the Lens. The thing is they were Horn and Downes compositions so they can do what they want with them. Downes left during the recording of Adventures in Modern Recording to join Asia, so Horn was left trying to finish the album. Then we have a Reformation of yes in 2011 and Trevor producing so he and Geoff revisited the material that they had leftover from their time in Yes "Drama Era" 1980, and finished their unfinished Fly From Here Suite. Then in 2016 at a show that Horn was present and guested on a song, the band started reminiscing and suggested that he re-record the lead vocals himself. White, who suggested the idea, reminded Horn that if he did, it would mark the second album recorded with the same line-up that had recorded Drama (1980). The majority of the songs on Fly From here were written by Horn and Downes so he did it as a tribute to Chris Squire because it being released after Chris's passing they would never have the opportunity of releasing another Drama lineup album again, which in 2018 Fly From Here Return Trip was released.
@@carbootstudios2459 Ah, my bad, sorry. I think it was a re-release though. Only some missing tracks from their second album got released for the first time.
Brilliant! It sticks with you…….humming all day until you can’t get it out of your head……then and still now. Powerful.
Such an under rated band. This version of the song that was originally a Yes song is cool to hear. Adventures in Modern Recording is a good album.
I think this is the original version, brought to Yes as a remake. No?

@@johnbenard9550, I am a camera was written and demoed before Into the lens was arranged and expanded.
So sad that only one of their albums were released on Spotify
Change.. UA-cam is better than Spotify
I prefer this to Yes' version actually (despite of the eightiesness), Buggles were pretty darn good
Thank you Trevor🙂
The Buggles' version is the best.
buggles version superior. wish they got more recognition than their one shining moment
I love STEVE HOWE on stage.

This is hot😊😊😊😊
This is the definitive version...well, except for the drums. Should have been on the Drama re-release...

Man, that’s a lot of gated reverb on those drums.
Good versions, but dated in sound . . .

i prefer YES version
Funny - doesn't sound like something from 2017...
Or 2011

Uhm, it's from 1981...

I was referring to when the album was eventually released.
