I saw a reply on the Anthony Joshua tweet saying “Chael’s gonna make a 10 min video about this” 😂
Lmao first thing I remembered when I saw the vid, it wasnt even just 10!
Alex knew what AJ was insinuating. He politely accepted
Biggest instigator in the game😂
Modern godfather of MMA.

Licks Dana's @$$ too much
every time he says "pierra" I laugh my ass off, no way this guy just cant pronounce the name correctly 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He does it on purpose.
@@SpyroTek He looks stupid on purpose then
At this point, it's purposeful! 😂 He always start with "PIERRA" and has to be the loudest Pierra in existence.
I've heard him say Pereira in the past...shaub as well
As a brazilian, the way Chael calls Pereira like Pieura is hilarious
Bro calls out a guy that just won by headkick to boxing only. Checks out
Lmao trueeeeeeee. Can't do MMA, then ask him to do kickboxing at least.
That would be stupid, aj wouldn't even learn to throw kick in this time, but alex in boxing creates intrigue
@@slymcfly123who gives a fuck. There sports and they are different
He didn't call him out. He said pereira would do well in boxing and that's it. You mma drama queens just love drama. Your worse then women.
Boxing with elbows and mma gloves is the ideal middle ground for those fights
I'm sure AJ would love an easy payday picking on a smaller guy while restricting him from using some of his most coveted weapons.
237 pounds vs 240 yah that's a big difference get lost bum
Alex's most "coveted" weapon Is his left hook. 😂 that's legal in boxing
@@tonydeliso9639 he said “some.
@@tonydeliso9639his knees and kicks
I don’t know why petiole immediately think aj called him out for a fight. To me it sounded like aj was impressed by Alex’s hands and thought he would translate well over to boxing- not specifically against him.
Why not though? Not right now, but in two years when he is about to end his career and get to cash out one more gigantic bag
He deserves it
The 2012 Olympics were in Rio. Chael declared it.
The guy not only kick ass in the octagon, he masters the media game too.
Lmfaoo that carry underwood analogy was so perfect🤣🤣
Tito tapped
Imagine what the largest arms in West Linn could do with a shot put. Now that would be something to see
Man I hope Alex vs Aspinall happens first
give Alex 4oz glove and use of elbows.
He doesnt need 4oz gloves tho 😂Id say his best KOs were with bigger gloves tbh.
Boxing with low kicks only lol
Alex vs Wilder would be fun. All offense, no defense, both have the death touch
Alex has defense, its not Adesanyas but he has it
@@darynjackson816 I know he has defense. I was suggesting, compared to some other top fighters, it's not that good. Man has the best offense in MMA though
@@p-townshankzilla2654 fair enough
Joshua knows the numbers Francis and Fury did. Smart
This video deserves more views than it’s gonna get

why do people keep saying boxers have never done MMA, not only has it happened they have won multiple times, perhaps not more often than not but its happened
Name 2 times the boxer won
@@JohnDoe-pm4bg ray mercer clarissa sheilds...would you like more? that was off the top I could do research🤷♂
@@darynjackson816 women transitions shouldnt talked because clarissa shields isnt even a good fighter shes ass
Because the majority of people are ignorant normies who just follow the current narrative whitout doing any research
2012 was London. 2016 was Rio
7:48 the only guys on the roster who talk about wanting to box are the sitting champions which makes sense. If you’re a contender you’re likely focused on the belt. And the ufc absolutely does not like their champions doing other things when they have no hand in it. Your example is Whittaker not competing in the 2018 commonwealth games after winning another national freestyle wrestling title. They didn’t say outright no but if he was injured in the April Games ahead of UFC 225 to defend his unified belt in his rematch with Yoel, they informed him he’d be stripped of his title. His words explain it best exactly why champions don’t go box but money. Amateur competition isn’t a job, they have a job. Nothing crazy about that:
“The UFC wasn’t too happy with my competing in the Commonwealth Games. I was told I would have been stripped of the title if I had gotten injured. Everyone knows my priority. This (UFC) is my job. It’s not really a choice to be made. If it’s a choice, providing finances and putting food on the table and being paid for my job, or competing in the Commonwealth Games where I’m not making money, is there really a choice to be made? I thought for an hour or two, but there was never a choice to be made.”
I'm not sure if Chael truly understands what happened in that Floyd/Conor fight or if he is just trolling boxing.
Conor won the first 5 rds
2012 Olympics was London 🇬🇧, Rio was 2016 🇧🇷, Not that it matters? 🤔🤷♂️🤦♂️ lol 😂😂
Anthony Joshua did say he would love to try MMA and has been training for at least a yr or 2 at this point
James Toney… that went well lol
ray mercer that went well
Bit of a shit example though because toney was 100 pounds above his prime weight and basically had brain damage
Toney would have still lost but he was fat, old and clearly just for a paycheck
Chael never eased up on the sauce after he beat Anderson again!!! 😂😂😂😂 lookin good, Chael.
Bro, The Olympics etiquette, especially in boxing is that it is for amateurs
amateur BOXERS
Very interesting perspective. And I also think it speaks to the current era of entertainment that is based off social media. People's wild dreams of 2 different sports competing is much more elevated when fans get the opportunity to have a way bigger voice and influence more heavily the "who's going to fight who". The money that pays the fighters now are more entertainment from a wild dream perspective... while before, it was more centered around the "best vs best in a real way"... because the fanbase was more of a ninche... and they were less casuals because their opinions would be based off what they watched and researched, not being swayed by a million comments in the interent. So they wouldn't want crossover because entertainment of something that appeases the new fans wasn't a thing. It was really best vs best. Now
Now where the money are applied to the fighters is way differently.... it's a "one fight and all!!", not a career being built. It's a more "momentary super feeling that THIS is the guy". JJ did what Alex Pereira has done in the last 2 years many times over... he had already reached this feat when defeating Lyoto Machida. But he stood in the division. He built a career. Now the same way crossovers are being hyped up because it isn't simply best vs best but a "damn this wild fight would be so cool like in-between two characters from 2 different comics" is also being pushed by ppl being super hyped way more quickly in a way that they want to fight divisions cleaning in years rather than fight thr best that will ever come to their division... because the imaginative effect of crossovers in sports is also being applied to crossovers in different classes....
Im never touchin whiskey again
pereira vs aj would be interesting🔥
AJ is sleeping poatan easy that’s not even worth watching tbh
His power would translate but his pure boxing skill lacks very very much. Especially boxing defense. He eats a lot of shots and you can’t do that with someone like AJ. Look what happened to Ngannou
@marsoulja19 you dont know poatan, he has a variety of stand up style. he also has a boxing style
@@draco2xx nah he definitely does have a unique style trust i study poatan fighting style im actually a fan of his
But he keeps his hands low and he can’t stand and bang with someone that has similar KO power and better skill than him like AJ. He’d need to completely restructure his hand placement and I doubt he’d be able to drill it into his brain enough for an AJ fight bc he’s accustomed to fighting mma/kickboxing not boxing
maybe in mma. in boxing it's pointless.
I'm a fan of Alex as well. But AJ is another beast especially right now if it's in a boxing ring. I just don't see Alex having enough variation in his standalone boxing to present AJ with enough threat not only that but Alex likes to keep his hands down and one right cross would have Alex flat on the ground. Alex is not a mover or that much of a counterpuncher but AJ can do both at least to a high enough level
The reason it only goes one way i.e. MMA to boxing and never the other way is because top level ppv boxing paycheques are way way way bigger. Look at Diaz & Masvidal (moreso Masvidal to be fair) saying they'd rather box again instead of doing MMA after doing their boxing match against each other...despite being MMA fighters...it's because the $$$ call out a lot more in the ring than in the octagon. If roles were reversed and MMA fighters get paid what boxers do and vice versa you'd see boxers wanting to crossover to MMA instead. This is simple to understand don't make it more complicated than it needs to be.
Yeah also boxing is the only combat sport that can compete with MMA just by itself
All other combat sports usually go to MMA/UFC
tired of these boxers calling out mma fighters to a boring boxing match, the way i see it, if u gonna call someone out in a diff sport then u should be man enough to fight them in their sport and not urs.
besides a mma fight is the only true way to see whose better that way both get to use 100% of their skills & abilities to see whose better, were as in a boxing match only the boxer gets to use 100% while the mma is stripped 50% of theirs
I definitely took it the same way
I think it’s because everyone only cares about money now a days
Only amateurs can box in the Olympics
Well... Alex's only had amateur boxing fights.
P-hey-da it's that easy unc
I was under the impression that once a boxer turns pro, they can no longer compete in Olympics
AJ would put him out cold like he did my man ngannou and I really didn’t see that one coming
They should do kickboxing we already know who wins the boxing
I think most heavyweight would be too good and too big for Pereire except maybe a Wilder, Cruiserweight would suit him allot better I think
Chael that’s not true, GSP wanted to compete in two different Olympics for wrestling and the UFC said no. Robert whitalker wanted to compete in some wrestling tournament (Idr which) and the ufc told him to chill.
Pierra 😂😂
That boxing medal.meant a lot less to the world after Roy Jones Jr got the screwjob
Pereira started boxing before getting into kickboxing..
Toney x Couture was the other way around.
This should never be allowed to happen. Alex vs Ngannou or Jones would be nice . He can fight AJ for the payday but he will lose very easily .
Claressa Shields went from boxing to MMA, so it has been done. I’m sure more than you think.
I know this is coming!, I know sooner or later the boxing community would recognize the potential of Poatan's power and boxing skills. Videos showing his boxing sparring session to some of elite HW boxer is amazing. But in my view Usyk not AJ as potential opponent because of size difference. This is enticing prospect for Alex because at least before he retires he can have the opportunity, good payday really good money that would change his life. Just box around safe not too aggressive then collect the check., though AJ is closer to Prince Turki Alalshikh. The chances this preposition is going to happen is undeniable. The Prince ended all politics in boxing, all matches now is possible...just need Poatan's team Green signal.
Alex would be destroyed by the likes of Usyk.
In Brazil, unfortunately, there are no qualifiers to participate in the Boxing Olympics like in the USA. It is based on a Ranking that includes political interests, which is why many talents give up.
PER-RARE-RAH.......TITO TAPPED.😅
Put them in with Usyk. See how any of them get on. Including Joshua.
How Francis do against Joshua?
Alex is a Champion in kickboxing and MMA. No need tor the Olympics at 37 yrs old. AJ vs Alex in the Kingdom of Arabia. Let’s gooooooooookoo!!!!!!! 100 million dollar fight!
Alex is gonna bank hard
We chael at least try to call him Poatan, or at least Chama? 💀
I thought Anthony Joshua said that he can be Beat them in mma, come to MMA.
AJ want to steal some of the Pereira’s hype by beating him. But Alex just closed that door for now and earned a few points with Dana
Boxing, the only combat sport where you can call out a smaller man and still feel big about it.
he called out Francis right
Nothing to do with boxing
Classic BDS syndrome
I see that as a great opportunity $$$$ . I gives him one more option . Should he lose . Make money is the name of the game . He already has his Legacy ! A 10-15 mil purse is a nice retirement check
I do know why but in Brazil with think of Olympics as something for youg men and women. Brazil takes close attention to Volley, Skate, some other sports and even boxe but no one even thinked about Poatan to be in the team. Bot because we thought this haven't the ability but because we didn't even conceived it in the first place!! People who watch and do Olympics and people who watch and do MMA don't even live in the same world.
Whoze pier?
piera
Alex stock rises incredibly high and everybody lining up for red panty night hahaha. What a massive star he is now.
Sound salty. I see why your traffic is low
Easy payday for AJ but also for Alex. Get knocked out and cash in
Alex Pierre
McGregor would win a gold metal, if he could complete rehab
Ngannou, Francis Ngannou.
Also once you fight as a professional you can no longer be an amateur and thus can not fight in the olympics
Why won't a boxer step in the cage let's be more than real the boxers beat mma guys and they're like look he can't fight yet mma guys agree to fight by your limitations yet you won't do the same in my eye's an mma guy has never lost in the ring because they grabb their balls and say it's on that's a winner
Thats completely false tho
Plenty of boxers have stepped in the cage
Also one of the reason they dont it as much is because boxing make much more money and because boxing can compete with mma just by itself contrary to other combat sports
Joshua and Jake Paul are no different. Calling people out in a sport that they have no business in .
Hey Chael, USA boxing bans anyone who has fought in professional MMA from entering amateur boxing. No, they cannot just compete towards the Olympics
But is that an USA only thing or is it a rule from the olympic comittee?
Clarissa
AJ vs Periera in kickboxing would be interesting
Mma no and boxing no
Put him Francis Nganouu
I wouldn't even go there. If Pereira is smart. He stays in his own lane. Now, if he wants to get hammered. That's a different story. Or if anything he needs to drop down a few weight classes. No need to go there. I promise that AJ will essentially flatline him.
Why doesn’t Joshua come to mma? 😂
lol who??
Clarissa Shields, she needs humbled.
When’s the next shower video?
Asking for a friend
For me it is a dinner video 😂😂😂
Joshua can't get the Fury fight so he's calling out Periera who's not even a boxer. What a clown. Periera is a class act.
pereira has the skills to box with aj, the fundamentals and experience are there
@@draco2xx bro aj is much bigger and literally has way more power, an average boxer will have way more power than an mma fighter who is known for power punches, aj also has better boxing becuz its fucking boxing, everything goes to aj, and the best part is alex pereira wouldnt even win if he catches aj because theres no ground and pound threat
I thought you had to be an amateur to box in the olympics?
ITA DIFRENT GAME AMUTURE BOXING AND PRO YOU VCANT GO FROM PRO BACK TO AMATURE BOXING AND JUST BOX IUN OLYMPICS
I'm tired of MMA fighters going and doing pro boxing. It was fun when McGregor v. Mayweather. We need more boxers doing MMA. Diaz v. Masvidal was embarrassing and was the LEAST BMF thing to do as real fighters
So for wrestling the olympics are the best , the top thing you can achieve
In boxing or basketball it’s not
Please god no! No!!!!! Alex is legit my fav fighter and AJ's my fav boxer, dunno what'd be more upsetting, watching a great HW boxer who seems to finally be recently getting back his mojo then get slept by a boxing novice, or seeing a guy who's in the middle of a speed-run of a HOF worthy UFC career get outclassed and eventually chinned badly by a dude who hits just as hard while being longer/taller and having way more boxing skill.
Then have him do mma with alex...or kickboxing.
@@slymcfly123 That'd be interesting. I often wonder how good certain boxers would do in KB, if they transitioned the same way Alex did from KB to mma, and began trying out kick-boxing. Especially huge guys who have extremely muscular legs - like AJ, who look like they'd be able o generate a shit-ton of power in their kicks and knees if properly trained
No aj didn’t ”challenge” alex, he gave him respect. Aj wiped a 270 pound francis into oblivion, alex would get killed
Lia Thompson is in the Olympics, enough said about the shit hole Olympics, 🤣
The only person who can beat Joshua is usyk
Francis can't make the team lmao. He already had a pro fight. Olympics is only for amateur.
Alex vs Jones e o quê queremos 🔥💪🏽
Tá louco
UFC fighters need to quit going to other sports and stay in their lane, if u wanna fight someone outside the UFC make them come to your sport
AJ probably saw Pereira scrapping that Heavyweight. He probably thinks he has skills which he does. Now, obviously that's not an Ex Heavyweight Champion with absolutely the hardest punch in Boxing. Francis should of never fought AJ. And hopefully cab be the same guy and didn't lose a step. Sometimes that happens when you get KO'd like how Francis got Ko'd. Very few Boxers can step out of this with that kind of KO. Typically either the chin goes, or they just aren't the same. That's why getting KO'd in a devastating fashion in Boxing sets back a lot of Boxers. They think they're the same, until they get hit again. And it can be a lighter punch. Pereira shouldn't even entertain this thought with AJ. Not worth it. I promise.
AJ is goading him. Alex kills this man but would be asked to NOT use his kickboxing skills OR his BJJ blackbelt. Makes no sense
Boxers are the best strikers in the world. MMA fighters are the best fighters. If you take a Striker from MMA and put him with a Boxer in a Boxing ring. They lose. You put the Boxer in the MMA fight. Then the Boxer loses the fight. If you put the Boxer in the MMA ring and tell both athletes it's only striking. Then the Boxer should win again. 🤷
Nope. MMA guy in a striking match uses him...*gasp*... striking such as knees and kicks and elbows. Boxer loses like a baby. The calf kicks alone will cause him to tap.
Boxing is a subset of striking
Striking is about hands, knees, elbows and kicks and boxing specialises in the art of punching/using your hands
Chael talking nonsense 95%>>> 5% Alex $ Anthony
No he didn't you twonk
Why would boxers care about Olympic teams if they can make tens of millions without ever trying out? Olympic boxing left when Jones Jr. was robbed
I don't think the boxing guys are scared to come over to MMA because they know they'll lose, it's because you'll likely get zero chance to give any account of your skills. It not just you might get knocked out... you might get hobbled and held down like a child for 25 minutes.
Or choked within a minute.
Its about money and "biggenes"
If MMA was bigger than boxing by far and made way money, then plenty of boxers would have joined MMA like all other combat sports
100%. AJ wants to beat everyone's ass. He's been angry since the Ruiz fight, and he's after everyone & every bag. Lol.
