    I will try it, and how many days do they leave it to ferment

    • @kitagrasy
      @kitagrasy  Рік тому

      You can leave it for 3 days minum.More days of fermentation leads to it becoming very alcoholic.

      Ekimera z to get millet mix with water then put in banana leaves kip it for the millet to germinate Abit then after u put on sun to dry and grind it to get flour which is sweet,,,so that sweet flour after making porridge u leave to cool Abit after bring that sweet flour (kimera) on top to make it waterly then tomorrow enjoy❤real sweet porridge after farmentation

    What is kitilibiita

    • @kitagrasy
      @kitagrasy  Рік тому

      Kitilibita is like local yeast made from grains that have activated bacteria that can ferment anything it comes in contact with

    • @trustvia2663
      @trustvia2663 Рік тому

      Kitilibita z not yeast,,it's just plain millet porridge without anything added to it and leave it to may be in fridge,,, come to south western Uganda and learn more,,we have bushera, ekitokwa,enkumba,omuramba,enturire ekitiribita all from millet or sorghum,,,#bakiga nation is where u find that original one,,I don't trust the Kampala bushera bushera coz the source z from western Uganda the rest just duplicate it❤

    How can i make yeast

    • @kitagrasy
      @kitagrasy  Рік тому

      Unfortunately i donot know how.Maybe one day i will shoot that video of how its made

    • @trustvia2663
      @trustvia2663 Рік тому

      Yeast can be of millet or sorghum,, for millet u put it water then get banana leaves put it there cover if possible burry it somewhere but make sure u put in some small holes for water to disappear then after millet has germinated Abit,, like 4-5 days bring it out on sun to dry then after grind it to become flour which will sweet,,,that's millet yeast

    • @trustvia2663
      @trustvia2663 Рік тому

      Then that of sorghum ts a bit hard and we do that in large quantities,,u get yo well prepared sorghum, get arsh (evvu) seave it well mix in water then pour in sorghum to turn black colour mix it well put it in sacks, tie with big banana fibres and some banana leaves take them to the near river for like two or three days after bring them back as they germinate,,put on sun shin to dry,,, with changed colour from real sorghum colour to black little bit germinated and very sweet,, it's sweater than millet yeast❤,,I love my culture,,if get tym come home I teach u
