Hi Trond, great video and what superb subjects, interesting you got more excited with the common buzzard than a rough legged or Goshawk, lol… although they are all beautiful birds the Goss is superb! Playing a bit of catch-up on your vlogs but worth it, lovely stills and video. All the best R 👍
After all the camera talk this week I came here to be reminded why I love wildlife photography and am now very happy. Brilliant images and video, thanks Trond!
Very impressive video Trond. Rough legged Buzzards are few and far between here in the UK so a real treat to see one so close up an then the Goshawk...OMG what a bird! an absolute avian terminator and my favourite bird of all time ..what a treat ...I don't think I'll ever tire of seeing birds like these
Hi Trond superb video I do love all birds of prey and seeing your images gives me great pleasure each one looking like a work off art. Until next time take care and stay safe my friend.
Hello Trond, just an awesome video with exceptional photographs taken by a photographer who is so passionate about the wildlife. Thanks for sharing and remember to stay safe 😷
Thanks for another fab video of raptors, though this highlights the biggest problem for most of us which is access to these places, in the Uk its Christmas if you even get a brief glimpse of a Goshawk. So big thanks to Trond and his efforts to give us a special view of these amazing birds and his wonderful images.
I missed your video but I am back from the Wildlife Photography workshop which I do in my region, really enjoy watching your content keep going. Raptors
Great video as always and stunning photos. Please make a tutorial on how did you find this place, what is your blind, how do you attract the birds of prey!
Inspired me to try and sort my buzzard hide out for this year. I've been trying for twenty years on and off to get images I'm happy with and my favourite raptor still eludes me. Wonderful footage and images Trond👍
Hi Trond Beautiful images as usual, I would be very interested in a follow up blog on your setup and how you attract the prey, the field work for this would be awesome...👍
Hi Trond , great video... Im planning to make a similar hide on my land ... what do you use as bait to attract them please ? I live in sw France .. plenty raptors in my area
Hi Trond, as always great video and photos, I wonder where you got the plan to build this cover, I would like to do a similar one, thank you for the advice and hello Marcel.
Enjoyed your video, as always. I've noticed that many of your horizontal formatted photos place the bird's head in the middle of the frame with a lot of space to the side, but you do not do that when the format is vertical. Does this have something to do with the focusing points of the camera or is it a deliberate compositional choice?
Great video Trond 👍🏻 I really like this new high level perspective where you can see the whole bird. I like a little foreground blur partially obscuring the raptor in the low level position but IMHO it can become too obstructive. Looking forward to seeing more images from this new high position, especially the magnificent Goshawk 😎👌🏻
Hey Trond, It's funny I was watching some of your older videos last night and one of them was when you were in this blind and I wondered if you would be going back. Well you did and captured some wonderful video and stills of the Goshawk! Very nice! It will be fun seeing what you think of the Z9 when you get one! But... the D4 and your D500 sure make great video and stills ! Greg
Hi Trond! How are you my friend? A quick question for you..is the Rough Legged Buzzard bigger than the Common Buzzard? It seems so. I thoroughly enjoyed this one! I think it's mainly because I love birds of prey! Stunning images as usual.
Another amazing video Trond, i've just recently bought the Z7 II and i can't wait to get some impressive pin sharp photos and 4k videos. it's a huge upgrade from my last camera the D5600, i would have gone for the new Z9 but i simply can't afford it.
Great work Man. My favorite species are birds of prey. Eagles, hawks, Especially the owl. Maybe one day we can collab a shoot together on them. Cheers friend. 🍺
Hi Trond, The footage and images of the Rough Legged Buzzard were awesome. It looked like you were inside the entrance tunnel to an Igloo! (obviously not, but looks like great insulation for protracted shoots?)
Another lovely video Trond, I always feel like I’m in the blind with you. This hide seems like a permanent one, is it on private land that you have access to? Anyway it’s always a great day when one of your videos shows up.
Finely your back om track.

Great video Trond, I would love to photograph a Goshawk , I just dont see many where I live. Who knows one day I might get one,
It must make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up when facing the Goshawk up so close. What a bird. Wonderful video again Trond.
It does :) Such a beautiful bird. Thanks a lot for your compliment.
Great to see you back in the Hobbit house! Beautiful video and photos.

Thanks a lot! When I compose an image, I always look for balance. And the balance in an image will be different in vertical and hoizontal

Great work Trond. Did you build the blind?
I’d love to know this too, a great looking hide, with fantastic results 👍
A friend of mine did make it. Out of foam and some tree construction in back and front.

Buenas tardes
Me podria decir la mochila que utiliza para el objetivo porque yo estoy buscando una para un 200-500 de NIKON gracias
Un saludo
¡Hola! Yo uso una bolsa f-stop. 70 litros. Se llama Sukha.
Hi Trond, is this your own built photo hut`? can you not even make a video about the self-construction?
That would be very interesting!
It a fiend of mine who build it. It is made of foam and some tree construction. Its noted...I will see what I can do :)
have you ever used the NIKON 200-400F4 VRII for wildlife sports photography? is that good ?
Yes I have. That is really good. Really sharp and fast lense.
nice videos my friend

Did you change something in your post-processing this time? The birds look a bit like a cut out from their background.
No, it almost right out of camera :)
