This is the most outstanding Turkish series I have ever watched I attribute this series to the outstanding acting by Asli and Ozcan. However the entire staff was excellent in this series. Esma was truly terrific

Fikret and Adem have the same spirit, Faruk did tell Fikret that he is going to take down his the family and Faruk said to him mark my word, I said in the first season that Fikret is the enemy with in, in some family there always a snake in side especially if that person is full of jealousy, Fikret was so jealous of his brother that he collaborated with Adem to take down Faruk, but he was so dumb and so full of jealousy that he was blinded and could not see that taken down Faruk he will take down the whole family including him self, but he was to blind and full of jealousy to see it, I remember one of the episodes he said to Adem are you with me to take down Faruk or against me, and then both of them shake hands in agreement that they will take down Faruk, all the things Fikret said about Faruk he him self was that person, he said Faruk was a dictator, he said he have pride, he said he is egotistic, he have a lot ego, and he is arrogant, and all these things of Faruk was lies, by Fikret, Fikret also wanted Faruk place as the oldest brother to sit at the head of the table, most people loved Faruk, Faruk was kind and love his wife so much, yes he was a little jealous of Sureyya and yes he is a little hot head but I like that of him, he love his wife and he do not want no man to get to close, he was right about Can, Can wanted Sureyya and he wanted her to divorce Faruk but she changed her mind, Sureyya oh she make me get angry a lot Sureyya have a lot of childish way's like a school girl running from her boyfriend, she her self is a little hot head her self stupid sometimes don't give Faruk time to explain him self assume things sometimes and she her self is jealous, Fikret must acknowledge that he is the one that cause his family to be in the situation, he shake hands with Adam in agreement to take down his brother Faruk but he was blind with jealousy he didn't realize to take down Faruk will also take down his family and him self also, He get got, that's a saying when someone is trying to get you in the process they get them selfs also.

So many great Turkish series - Kurt Seyit Ve Sura was the very first one I watched, and remains my favourite one, followed by many others. Many of the plots are the same, but the characters are all different. The Bride of Istanbul once again, proved that the acting skills and talent of actors and actresses from Turkiye Cumhuriyeti can certainly rival the best of Hollywood's Rom-com's and Drama series actors/actresses. The English translation for this particular drama is outstanding.
