Nice. We had hoped to visit and then COVID ruined our plans. I enjoyed visiting Danang and Hue in 2018 and am looking forward to visiting Nha Trang, Dalat and Vung Tau. Hopeful things will open up by Winter but does not sound very promising. Keep up the good work. I subscribed and hope you will do some videos of more remote beaches, nature, etc. near Nha Trang 🙂

Is there kitchen facilities there ? It looks just like a hotel room ( not a bad thing ). Will you make a video of Cam Ranh and compare ? You forgot to mention that you are saving on independent gym fees which basically costs the same as your power invoice I guess.
There's a tiny kitchen space that you can use. It's quite small but usable. Right now I'm in Thailand Koh Phangan. Cam Ranh is quaint, if you're looking for a quieter lifestyle.

Good question. I like Da Nang a slight bit more than Nha Trang. More north american expats like Da Nang in general than Nha Trang. Eastern Europeans and Russians tend to stay in Nha Trang.
@@keithkurtzworldtravelandad6508 My girlfriend and I enjoyed Nha Trang so much that we cut our stay short in Da Nang to fly back for a few extra days in Nha Trang 😂 The beach we stayed near in Da Nang was more rough and seemed to be for fishermen only. Being able to speak some Russian definitely has advantages in NT!

Thank you so much. There are a lot of visa agents to choose from. I think once you are here, all you will have to do is ask on the expat forums.
Good Video, What's the size of your apartment and what would be the cost of a 2 bedroom or a apartment that is 900 sq ft., 100 sq.meters ?
Thanks for the comment. The prices have gone up a bit since weather has improved. I usually negotiate the price down just a little when I start a new tenancy. I try to control the terms of the agreement first, such as paying month to month. Once you move into the apartment you can negotiate price down further because they're afraid of losing a tenant. It's a lot easier to keep tenants than trying to find new ones. The more trust you build the better of course. My agent says there are only 1 beds. I'm off to Bulgaria next so I hope you'll keep watching. :)
the price of the rent...is that per night or per month?
the price was monthly there is likely a post covid price but frankly it will be still substantially more reasonable than many other places in the world

Rent apartment 2km from the beach, it costs only 2,5million dong, 100$. It's not as fancy, but you get to see more traditional VN and get to know locals.

@@sally88tan I stayed in Da Nang for about a year. Then I was ready to explore so I went to Thailand in January, Indonesia in February, and when I came back for a short trip the whole world went into lockdown. When I've travelled as much as I have, there's no real need to move fast. Fortunately, Vietnam has been an excellent place to live during covid. Da Lat is a good city to settle in. :) Is there a reason you chose Dalat?

Dogs are banned from the beach in Da Nang. Weak! 2) Is Panorama dog friendly? 3) How much is motorcycle parking per month? Thanks!
Panorama is not dog friendly but I have a friend who can help you find a place that is. If you need to, just send me an email and I will refer you to her.
My friend responded to say you can but make sure your dog is next to you.

Hi Ramon. Thanks for a good question. These units were selling over $100,000 which is quite a bit for Vietnam. So much of Nha Trang right now is taking a loss on their properties. I don't see prices jumping up very quickly even when borders open. Thanks again! I hope liked and subscribed to the channel.

All of that's great and I know NaTrang is great because I've been there but what do you do when your visa is cancelled or not renewed and you have 3 weeks to leave Vietnam. You can kiss the deposit on the apartment goodbye. That's the problem folks, not the costs they are manageable!
This is good insight in the current covid situation. However, this is not going to happen during normal times. If you come during covid times it's easy to negotiate month to month.
@@keithkurtzworldtravelandad6508 so when do you think normal times are coming back? Next year or the year after. The Vietnamese authorities are using this covid pandemic as cover to clear out english teachers on tourist Visas and others. There is a policy change on immigration and this won't end anytime soon. They want real tourists who stay several weeks spend their money and then leave. Not tourists who stay for 2 years and teach english, that's over.
Beautiful country and cheap... but you can't stay!
I cannot say for sure when they will open borders. No one has an exact answer for that yet. Under the current Vietnamese laws, tourists can extend their stay up to 12 months. For those getting exit stamps, they are simply enacting existing laws currently in place. This video is about attracting tourists to Nha Trang. I'm not advocating people to overstay illegally in the country. I made this video not just for covid, but for those interested when borders open. Peace brother.
@@keithkurtzworldtravelandad6508 I'm sure you have the best of intentions but from what I've been reading many foreigners in Vietnam think things will get back to normal. I don't think so. I think they're trying to clear out the hippies and bring in more affluent tourists.

Right now, Nha Trang hardly has its great normal amount of tourists as the past usual years mainly by the common effect of the Covid like every other countries in all around the world . International airline is still not widely opening the doors as working normally by all the very strict rules of the country , almost just available with domestic guests and their internal flights . A logic reason about a number of tourists might like Da Nang partly was by its cheaper prices of almost services , also a bigger city with lesser people in the greater spaces of the sea ...
