Honestly, I think I would just love to see Gab and the chat going through SCP wiki for like a chill and talk stream. It would be lovely to have her read it outloud
@@lesterlim1771 I found it a little infuriating, she missed obvious buttons, didn't read certain important parts which resulted in confusion, ended up reading mostly the popular SCPs, and didn't bother to correct her mistake when trying to search for TheVolgun on UA-cam, she also got recommended other channels but it was only those normie SCP channels like SCP Explained and TheRubber, and, yikes, even Detective Void. TheVolgun and SCP Illustrated were the only good suggestions I could see. Other good ones are The Exploring Series and Dr. Bob. Still liked that she took the time to read it, though.
One more important thing you should know “Safe” objects don’t mean harmless it just means that they are easily contained and typically don’t require a lot to keep them from getting out and possibly destroying reality.
Yeah like you can have an object that's safe and that you keep it out for staff to use but in the right conditions it could like melt everything in a 20 mile radius. Like the vending machine!
Explained/Neutralized/Safe/Euclid/Keter is more of a classification on how much knowledge is known about the object and the ease of ability to contain it. With Thaumiel and Apollyon being exceptions. Thaumiel can contain other objects and Apollyon being an object that cannot be actually contained (it can be falsely contained when not in an active state but in reality it is not contained at all). For instance 999 is the tickle monster that is capable of giving euphoria to others upon touch and is classified as Safe as it is puppylike in nature and is capable of understanding speech. Meaning if someone told it to get in a box or crate it would willingly do so. However granting euphoria does not mean it's harmless as anything something or someone does in the state of excitement will not be stopped by 999 and the state could lead to addiction like with psychoactive drugs. The newer Esoteric secondary/sub classification is more in depth to whether it is potentially harmful but it is mainly only used with the newer SCP objects.
@@rizkiramadhan9266 i disagree, the entire point of the organisation is to secure, _contain_ , and protect. There's a reason they have the section on containment procedures before they even describe the item.
Also Scp-999 is lovingly called the tickle monster by the foundation and the greater community it’s anomalous abilities cause people to feel great joy when playing and generally being around it and it’s one of the few SCP’s believed to actually have a great impact on people especially because it has been known to cure symptoms of depression and anxiety and is allowed to wonder freely in site 19 it also only eats sweet foods like candy and chocolates!
The original there be dragons article always makes me cry terribly. Most people also have that reaction. But this rendition of the story is so beautiful. One of my favourite scps of all time.
As soon as I saw the dragon I started to melt. It's such a good submission! I think the devs did a decent job trying to get the basics across in a fun way in a limited amount of time.
I had never heard of that one before. I was randomly getting emotional and then straight up crying and just wanted to see if anyone else had the same reaction.
Definitely a sadder one. And the full article gets even more sad since it's one SCP that seems to have a definite end to its story... As soon as I saw it, I wondered if the game would hint towards that ending but it seems the game is set before even the Jabberwocky Event
A PSA for the dragon story, if you’re ever in a large earthquake, do not move outside to “safe open spaces”, this is bad advice. Get under a sturdy table or desk away from potential falling hazards and hold on to the leg of the table so if it moves you move with it. Wait until the shaking stops before you come out. Do not run outside!
Allow me to offer why. In an urban environment, you're losing shelter from falling buildings, poles, and debris. You're also away from foundations that could protect you in the event of sinkholes. Surely more reasons too, but since I don't respond well to "because I say so", I thought I'd offer why it's a bad idea and not just what to do instead. Thanks for your proper safety advice, @katinwelly 🥰
Trying to know all the SCPs is like learning all the numbers to Pi. It's like sure you CAN learn all of them but generally youll only really remember the ones you like.
the three main classes of scp (safe, euclid, and keter) are essentially: safe - "just follow containment procedures and you will probably be fine" euclid: "even if you do everything you should do, you still are in danger, so use your best judgement and dont get caught off guard" keter: "this thing is so dangerous it might even be able to destroy human civilization as we know it, we can not guarantee anything, you just gotta hope that whatever gods or fates that may exist are on your side anytime you interact with this scp"
Thaumiel: This thing can't properly be contained or secure so we just gotta observe it now and then haha hope nothing bad happens Apollyon: This thing could actually bring about the apocalypse let's hope it doesn't
Did anyone notice, while Gab was in that conference with Dr. Hamm, that one of the people attending the conference is Edith Finch? Could that be an Easter egg?
SCP-239 was so sad ): when we think of SCP’s, its often the horror aspects of it but this game shows the other side of the coin. And what we see are victims or anomalies that are peaceful and harmless. I didn’t think I’d be this emotional over a fictional character but that was just heartbreaking
This game helped me understand the scp universe so much better and honestly made me love it even more. That poor sweet little girl though. If she had just been treated right and taught how to use her abilities and taught right from wrong, it would have been so much better.
Since most of the SCPs in this game did not include their respective articles (I counted 28 SCPs total, 9 of which you read and 1... well, I'll get to that), I figured I'd give you a brief overview of the SCPs that were mentioned. Apologies in advance for the wall of text; that's just how I get sometimes about things I like. - First, there's the two mentioned in the rules on the right side of the computer that Karl uses throughout the game. *SCP-999,* The Tickle Monster, is this adorable blob of orange goo that eats sweets and loves to hug and tickle people. *SCP-343,* "God", is pretty self-explanatory. He's an immensely knowledgeable guy who loves to talk to people and looks like how one would picture the big man in the sky. - Next are the three SCPs mentioned in the scrolling bar at the top of the computer screen. *SCP-113,* The Gender-Switcher, does as you'd expect. The catch is that it hurts like hell. *SCP-191,* Cyborg Child, is a little girl with many body parts augmented or outright replaced with mechanical implants with varying purposes. *SCP-2338,* An Unorthodox Adoption, is actually three proposals consisting of a group of children with animal costumes fused to their bodies, an abnormally large jellyfish, and the jellyfish from before but with a little girl in an owl costume living in its bell. - After that is the SCP you saw in the first lecture, SCP-7457. Y'know, the one with the massive desert that spawns garbage everywhere and has a phone booth in the center that lures people in and wraps them up in bundles of cable? Yeah, it doesn't actually exist. GameZoo Studio, the devs for this game, must've come up with this one themselves because there is no SCP-7457 on the SCP site yet. EDIT 11/14/22: There is now an *SCP-7457,* and it's called Neanderthal's Essentials. It's a series of cave paintings that each have random effects on humans, some more dangerous than others. - Then comes the eight mentioned when you read the global news reports from various SCP site around the world. *SCP-994,* Some Silver Dishes, is a species of flying organisms vaguely resembling ceramic plates. *SCP-769,* Ancient Encyclopedia, is a pottery cup that, when you drink from it until it's empty, grants you considerable knowledge in a random subject. The downside is that the new knowledge replaces random memories you already had. *SCP-067,* The Artist's Pen, takes full control of your hand when you grab it and forcibly writes a highly detailed biography of you, though it can also make you create works of art. *SCP-2040,* The Iron Messenger, is a deceptively complex humanoid robot that claims to have come to Earth carrying a "primary message," but I'll leave it to you to find out what. *SCP-3170,* Only Acting, is an Indonesian actress named Yuliana Cahaya who, whenever she dies, is immediately replaced by essentially a stunt double, while Yuliana herself will reappear alive and unharmed nearby sometime later. *SCP-610,* The Flesh that Hates, is a virulent skin disease that causes growths resembling scar tissue to grow on the body, eventually mutating infected into horrifically misshapen creatures that seek out other humans to infect or root itself where it stands and spreads its growths to the surrounding area. *SCP-2285,* Cloudivores, are seven species of birds that look like existing birds. However, they are able to camouflage themselves, they require only condensed water vapor (i.e. clouds) for food, and they can create a vacuum with their impossibly strong lungs to suck up said clouds. *SCP-169,* The Leviathan, is a gargantuan marine arthropod whose rock-like plates protrude from the surface of the water like an archipelago, and it is also the source of the ultra-low-frequency underwater sound known as the "Bloop" (which, in reality, was caused by an icequake). - When you saw the footage of the woman experiencing SCP-701, The Hanged King's Tragedy, you picked up a plushie of *SCP-049,* Plague Doctor. Chat described his appearance and a basic idea of what it does, but his goal is to cure what he calls the "Pestilence", which he seems to accomplish by killing someone he thinks is infected with his death touch. He then performs surgery on the corpse which turns it into an instance of SCP-049-2, a zombie of sorts. On a side note, if you do get around to reading the original article, I think you'll find the first doctor who interviews 049 to be very... *familiar.* - You already know the gist of SCP-1762, Where The Dragons Went (the cardboard box that spawns tiny origami dragons), and you already read the articles for most of the rest of the SCPs in the game, so I'll just go for the four that were mentioned in the article for SCP-239, The Witch Child. *SCP-148,* The "Telekill" Alloy, is a metallic substance that can hinder or otherwise completely block an organism's mind-affecting properties, of which the Foundation wanted to make a weapon to kill the girl. *SCP-668,* 13" Chef's Knife, is a chef's knife that, when held by someone with violent intent, projects a psychic field that not only renders bystanders physically incapable of saving potential victims, but also makes victims incapable of defending themselves. This was mentioned in Dr. Clef's report when he suggested whoever holds the Telekill weapon to kill SCP-239 should also hold SCP-668 to, and I quote, "minimize complications". Dr. Clef also referenced *SCP-953,* Polymorphic Humanoid, a red fox with nine tails that can shapeshift into whatever it feels like (basically a kumiho, a creature in Korean folklore similar to the Japanese kitsune). - Last but not least, there's the one SCP mentioned in the very last seconds of the game when Marion Wheeler said, "we need to talk about fifty-five". *SCP-055,* [unknown], is... something. I could just spoil it for you now, but I suggest you find out for yourself. Also, please look at the rest of the SCP-261 article when you get a chance. You missed a good bit of information there.
Such a well-written summary of all those SCPs! A very tiny, but important, correction however: you said kumiho is a creature in Japanese folklore similar to a kitsune, but a kumiho is actually Korean, while kitsune is Japanese. SCP-953 would probably be very upset at this mistake! :P
@@nikitasutrave1724 Right, whoops. I don't know how I missed that. My bad! I'll edit that real quick. Still, if 953 wants to complain, she can catch these hands.
35:17 Good to know Edith Finch has been inspired from her family member’s abnormal deaths and curse, and is now protecting the public from these anomalies as an SCP worker 😂
@@eezahey had a full, obvious character nod somewhere else in the game to Edith Finch, one of the characters in the phone call or whatever with dr Hamms (?) was called Edith Finch, because they were inspired by what remains of Edith Finch
It's interesting that in the Here Be Dragons story the kid is named Daniel, and it mentions Dr. Daniel is supervising director of the facility where that SCP is being contained. Are they supposed to be the same person?
Yeah, at the performance at the end he's introduced as 'Daniel Trevor', and later the supervising director is referred to as both 'Daniel' and 'Dr. Trevor'.
That transition between streams was sooooo smooth. Also, I have LOVED SCP for so so long, I feel like we have needed a game like this!! So good. Heavy Edith Finch vibes
When she said: “get me a soda” I immediately thought: “girl, if only you knew just how deadly that request is, especially if theirs a vending machine involved” 😂😂😂
I've been a casual SCP fan for a couple years now, and am happy with how this game turned out, and thoroughly enjoyed watching you play it! I would love to watch you stream, but especially with the long, unbroken content, I really prefer to be able to watch it all at once. Thank you for posting it here as well! You are a delight, and I appreciate all your dedication to enjoying these games with all of us.
I found gab through Jack, and I'm SO glad I did. These videos bring me so much comfort and help me decompress so much. I often end up having to take multiple days to finish one video because I keep falling asleep cx which is a huge deal for me. I have insomnia and ptsd and it makes sleeping a massive battle every night. So thank you for the comfort gab

Bee tee dubz, SCP-247 is a bengal tiger whose anomalous nature makes viewers see it as a domestic cat kitten, so that guy got chomped trying to pet a tiger.
Dear Ned, I've been asked to help out at [REDACTED]. Apperantly they've been reporting [REDACTED] at one of their facilities called Site-██. I know, pretty weird, right? First they said the staff wanted to put on a ███ ████, but then everyone started to disappear! And now no one will answer the phone. Oh boy. Anyway, I'm sure it's nothing -a little good old fashioned sleuthing won't solve.- I'm feeling pretty optimistic about this one, and it shouldn't be too much of a bother. See you soon! Ever yours, Nancy
Video finished like 20 mins ago and I'm still humming "I am toaster"... This was a great game and I hope the studio can make more great titles in the future :) Thanks for taking us along for the ride Gab :D
Glad that we finally get to see Gab discover the wonders of SCP. This game has such a good way of building the world around you and I hope Gab takes a deeper interest in some of the specific SCPs and the lore around them.
The moment I realized one of the stories was about SCP-1762 Here be Dragons I legitimately cried a little. It sucked knowing what was probably coming T_T it's neat that they added it into the game though. Thank you for playing this game Gab.
The dragon story was so cute and sad. I got so attached to Penny and his paper dragon friends Edit: I feel so bad for 239, they sounded so cute, small and confused!
Marion Wheeler in the ending is a reference to the story collection There Is No Antimemetics Division, which I highly recommend! it's a fantastic read and a great introduction to the wider landscape of the tales on the SCP wiki.
as someone who can't afford to buy games (even if i love them), you are giving me a chance to experience them through your streams/vods. thank you gab !! it may not be a big deal nor personal but it means a lot to me
Omg i saw the paper dragon and actually started to tear up knowing what was coming. I love 1762 so much. Also with object classes, it is based off of how easy it is to contain, not danger level. so a ball the kills you if you touch it can be considered "safe" because you can just lock it in a box and everythibg is fine, and on the flip side there is like 6113 that helps people at their lowest moment and saves them, but is considered "keter" because it can teleport and shift dimensions.
(Spoilers in case you haven't finished the video/game!) SCP-1762 always makes me cry and this game illustrates it perfectly. The childlike wonder in a universe full of death and despair it really is such a gorgeous story. It's so childish and wonderful and never fails to make me cry. I'm really glad this game included them :,)
truly! i love how they portrayed this in the game as in Containment Breach those colorful dragons were possibly the only colorful SCP "group" in the game and that was a breath of fresh air in that whole tense game
“Training start in 3… 2… 1… ooo time to snap my neck” You have no idea how appropriate that statement is 😂 Thanks so much for the fun video, i know it takes a ridiculous amount of work to make fun watchable content. I am very much appreciating it, thank you!!!
A 4hr+ video of Gab playing an SCP Foundation game where you play as an archivist right after my first ever finish of The Magnus Archives Season 3?! Well, strap me in and take my statement- this is gonna be great!
Oh I'm glad to see you play this! I also thought the whole SCP thing seemed interesting but didn't know where to start, everyone already seemed so far into it.
If anyone ends up developing an interest in SCP from this, I heavily recommend the channel The Exploring Series here on UA-cam, the channel is filled with explanations and explorations of various bits of SCP lore and articles, and the videos are very good as background vids, as they don't feature visually essential info normally. It's the perfect spooky mood for dark evenings.
In case anyone is wondering about why they were mentioning hitler in the notes it’s because in the Scp universe there’s a clone of him and he is kept in containment so he cannot get out and cause any harm to the world
For their first game, it was fantastic! I love the storytelling and filing aspects as well as all those different artistic ways of bringing those stories to life. I look forward to seeing what else they add to the game. Oh and yeah all the SCP stories are submitted to the Wikipedia page/ website to which they are added into the catalog of "known" SCPs. 😊
Normally I wouldn't be into the horror genre because anxiety going THROUGH THE ROOF whenever seeing something scary but this game was such an experience!!!! And a good one at that! I can't wait to see more of what they create and see the story next time!!!!
This whole "read/listen to something and subsequently commit violence" idea reminds me of the book "Lexicon" by Max Berry. Fantastic book, and this is a great concept for a game. Creepy, foreboding, and intriguing all in one.
I did the math and Mrs Wilson ate the equivalent of almost 25 LOAVES of bread. 16kg = 16,000 g Standard loaf at my local store is 650g 16000/650 ~ 24.6 loaves of bread Standard bread loaf is 22 slices and 2 end pieces for a total of 24 slices per loaf 24 loaves x 24 slices = 576 individual slices of bread THAT'S A LOT OF BREAD
3:51:24 That's the same scream used at the end of "Finally Free" by Dream Theater. I wonder how long that scream has been in use, and I never knew that's just a stock sound.
I loved your playthrough Gab! Also loved this kind of approach to SCP - where you can see that not everything is good or bad - just like how the art styles change, through the missions we observe. Also you make watching it so much fun, when you made yourself laugh at 3:00:20 I laughed like a good minute from that pun!! All in all thank you, best 4 hours 36 of my life!
This whole game is VERY cool and I loved having Gab's company this evening!! Also BB absolutely is the most handsome and wonderful little mans. I loved how he kinda held your hand at the end lol.
i watched the beginning when she said "I'm such an SCP Noob" my first reaction was at irst, "Lets see how long she lasts" then became, "Oh you poor child...you poor, innocent child!" LMFAO! Love ya gabs! love your work and everything you do! Never quit!!!
I've always had a passing interest in SCP but I'm very much like you Gab, completely new to it. This game is a fantastic introduction to the SCP universe. It doesn't go into deep exposition into like who/what are D-Class or stuff like that but it gives just enough information where you can understand the world. Excited to watch!
The YT algorithm did us good. I do love horror content. This was a magnificent playthrough. I watched it in one sitting. I'm Icelandic so I hope fun facts and random info is something any of y'all like. Sigurrós is an Icelandic name, also the name of a pretty popular Icelandic post-rock band formed in 1994. So it'd sorta make sense if a Sigurrós fan named their daughter Sigurrós (if they exist/existed at all in that universe). Sigurrós' first album's cover 'Von' (Hope), released in 1997, depicts the face of the singer and frontman, Jónsi's sister, Inga when she was a baby. Also. Icelandic naming conventions. Stefánsdóttir would indicate Sigurrós is the daughter of Stefán, so her father would have to be Icelandic or of Icelandic descent. Out of curiousity I also did a quick search through 'The book of Icelanders' (Íslendingabók) and turns out, there is a Sigurrós Stefánsdóttir, born the same year, but her birthday is two months later. Just an interesting tidbit I guess. Anyway. Subbed. Extra info. In SCP: Secret files, a doctor describes Sigurrós as having blue eyes, which is very typical for Icelandic children. The SCP wiki however, describes her eyes as '"shimmering" a gray-green shade'. Also also. It's not exactly very typical for Icelanders who leave Iceland to keep up with the Icelandic naming conventions, especially in the US and Canada, so either Sigurrós' father was very strung on the naming convention, OR Sigurrós was actually born in Iceland and named accordingly. As an example. When my dad's sister got married to her American hubby, she added his family's name as her last name, but her dad's name as a suffix resulting in a name like Marie Johnson-Sigurðardóttir as an example. The SCP wiki mentions nothing of the sort in Sigurrós' case which kinda makes a fella wonder. Then again, it's all random tales from random people all around our magnificent planet. Though I do enjoy a deep dive on interesting topics.
i am so impressed that you werent constantly shitting yourself when the mannequins moved in the early stages of scp 701, I was so fucking scared that I barely managed to continue playing haha, the toilets and vents freaked me out so much
I think this game captures the essence of SCP better than any other I've ever seen. Just an anthology of short stories, all in different styles and genres.
I am so invested in this!! 48m in & I'm carrying my phone around at work while I'm cooking & pausing if I'm doing something noisy cos I literally CANNOT miss a thing!
Fun fact: SCP actually stands for "Special Containment Procedures", Secure Contain Protect is the backronym motto. So the Foundation's full name is the Special Containment Procedures Foundation. 6:22 Ah, this. The lore goes deep but to summarise: while normal humans were off doing avreage human things during WW2, the 7th Occult War was secretly taking place. The war was fought between Ahnenerbe Obskurakorps, the paranormal branch of the Third Reich and the Allied Occult Initiative (the precursor to the modern Global Occult Coalition, an organisation funded by the UN and tasked with destroying all SCPs), with the help of the FBI's Unusual Incidents Unit. OBSKURA (as it would later be named) had the goal of collecting SCPs to help with the war effort and to perform the Rite of Solomon to make sure that of all humans, only Germany's higher ups could have supernatural powers. The war ended when the SCP Foundation joined the AOI's side and captured several of OBSKURA's leaders and raided their HQ. 47:46 Yes, for a few obvious reasons: the SCP is not fully understood and further testing is required, the trash must be contained so it doesn't flow into our world and the veil (normalcy, or keeping knowledge of the anomalous secret) must be maintained. Remember: the needs of the many ouweight the needs of the few.
Here I was, crocheting, minding my own business with some nice gameplay in the back ground and Gab's soothing voice. Then all of the sudden I hear, "Time to crack my neck," and what proceeded to follow was the most loudest popping I've ever heard and couldn't help but exclaim "Jesus Christ Gabby!" X'D This is my first introduction to your gameplay Gab and I'm already loving it.
Scp-249 reminds me of Ace from the Batman series 😔 a child turned into a weapon while cheating them out of their childhood, all to please power-hungry adults.
Your voice is so soothing, just what I need after a stressful day. If you made a library of you reading positive affirmations, I would pay so much money for that 😅
Fantastic timing, I watched my first SCP lore video last night and was so intrigued! Looking forward to this! Gab, you always introduce me to games I've never heard of and then need to play.
When the Here Be Dragins ine started, i recognized it almost immediately and was steeling myself for how sad it was and it still made me cry once again. Definitely one of the saddest SCPs to me
i had NO CLUE this SCP game existed. you mentioned you played it in another video and I ran over here so fast. I'm excited to see you learn the world while I delve back into my SCP phase
I remember my friend had a time where she was super into the SCP creatures 😂 Definitely gonna show her this game. Every time we went to sleep she would talk about the different monsters, especially the one that would come out if you were sleeping alone and your feet were out of the bed, or something?
This was great, love the SCP stuff. I'm far too lazy to go out of my way to read all of them, so I only know a few... but with that said, I would recommend you to read "Oversimplified SCP", a manga/doujin that, as the name implies, explain some SCPs in a very simplistic manner, usually around 4~5 pages per SCP, it's pretty fun to read (and it also explains some Foundation lore here and there).
I love how they were inspired by What Remains of Edith Finch and have some easter eggs showing the inspiration, like the one person called Edith Finch in the conversation with Dr. Hamms (was that his name?)
Every time I hear "amnestics" it makes me think of the bright light the Men in Black flash in people eyes to make them forget something they weren't supposed to see.
POG -- have been waiting for you to play this! The disney and other stuff is cool, but I just dont have a ton of interest in seeing you play that stuff -- definitely love seeing more of the horror stuff!
The game's intro of incineration looked so similar to Death Stranding incineration. And also the game being same as control is due to the reason control was actually inspired by SCP. Also gab scp is not always scary. It has interesting and beutiful subjects too!
Oh boy, Gabby is going to get sucked into the SCP world. Whether you like a scare, or just curious, it's a interesting universe to explore. Equal amounts of terrifying, and just plain fun and silly SCP's to read about!

I also listen to a podcast that would explain them and even give a story on how they interact with an SCP. It's very fun.
@@racheldickey5760 what's the podcast? I wanted to find one like that but I wasn't sure what a good one would be
@@grzappala The SCP Expierience
Or hate. I absolutely despise 682
that's accurate, I read the first 100 scps (minus 001) and even with that little number, I only remember a few that interested me
the three main classes of scp (safe, euclid, and keter) are essentially:
safe - "just follow containment procedures and you will probably be fine"
euclid: "even if you do everything you should do, you still are in danger, so use your best judgement and dont get caught off guard"
keter: "this thing is so dangerous it might even be able to destroy human civilization as we know it, we can not guarantee anything, you just gotta hope that whatever gods or fates that may exist are on your side anytime you interact with this scp"
Great! I hate it.
Thaumiel: This thing can't properly be contained or secure so we just gotta observe it now and then haha hope nothing bad happens
Apollyon: This thing could actually bring about the apocalypse let's hope it doesn't
Did anyone notice, while Gab was in that conference with Dr. Hamm, that one of the people attending the conference is Edith Finch? Could that be an Easter egg?
I was wondering who else had spotted this! I was screaming at Gab to notice it 😅
probably since the ending was a reference to the matrix. lots of easter eggs
I noticed that too! Sweet Easter Egg. That game is just wonderful
The frog in the girl's room actually reminded me of the frog in the bathroom story in Edith Finch as well! Both heartbreaking stories.
@@micaela4728The creators of the gane said they were inspired by What Remains of Edith Finch, so I think that’s the reason for the Easter eggs!
If she had just been treated right and taught how to use her abilities and taught right from wrong, it would have been so much better.
based on the gameplay it seems like her consciousness was put into d6744 so she could escape
You have a lot more reading to do if you've never had your emotions moved deeply by a fictional character.
*familiar.*
- You already know the gist of SCP-1762, Where The Dragons Went (the cardboard box that spawns tiny origami dragons), and you already read the articles for most of the rest of the SCPs in the game, so I'll just go for the four that were mentioned in the article for SCP-239, The Witch Child.
This should be top comment.
@@reflectivemask Thanks, dude!
@@elijahfoltz3755 yeh true the desert scp never mention in Scp site this game create own scp
I was wondering if "Johnathan" was a Magnus Archives reference! So happy Gab knows what that is, it's such a good story.
It really is!!
yesss
right? i thought they were going to follow up with his last name but I guess it won't be a character "nod" anymore and would be "too obvious"
right!!!! i was thinking the same and then she said it and i was so happy hahaha
Yes. The implication is that that kid grew up to become an SCP researcher, who in particular keeps a watchful eye on the box.
@@RenegadeVile that's sad
Yeah, at the performance at the end he's introduced as 'Daniel Trevor', and later the supervising director is referred to as both 'Daniel' and 'Dr. Trevor'.
This was so cool and chill to see from someone who is new to SCP lore. The lore of the world felt so fresh for it. Thanks for a great video, Gab!
That transition between streams was sooooo smooth. Also, I have LOVED SCP for so so long, I feel like we have needed a game like this!! So good. Heavy Edith Finch vibes
Apparently they were inspired by it, because it was a story-heavy game, and I love that we can see the vibes come through!
SCP isn't just horror- some SCPs are harmless, and some are even friendly!

never in my life have i cried over a movie or a video game until SCP-239
that poor little girl's story ACTUALLY sent me into REAL tears
When she said: “get me a soda” I immediately thought: “girl, if only you knew just how deadly that request is, especially if theirs a vending machine involved” 😂😂😂
🤭
At least she didn't ask for a cup of Joe.
Hope these continue to help you! I like her vids before bed
@@MistaManlyGuy This video in particular i love a lot. I genuinely burst out laughing multiple times. Gab is such an adorable and lovely human being. I'm currently going back and rewatching her resident evil village playthrough ^-^ and thank you lots for the well wishes

She is perfect for background work audio 🤘
Literally same
Literally had the same thought but for getting my uni work done for today, I love having her vids on while working on things 😊
Thats literally what i do everyday
Oh man, that introduction into the SCP facility gave me so much Portal nostalgia 🥲 not even 5 minutes into the game and I know it’s gonna be awesome
I love how every single person I’ve watched play this game had the same reaction when Dr. Hamm’s visual first pops up 😂
I thought he was handsome, too lol
How did you become so amazing Gab, you are a light in a world that needs it.
Bee tee dubz, SCP-247 is a bengal tiger whose anomalous nature makes viewers see it as a domestic cat kitten, so that guy got chomped trying to pet a tiger.
Dear Ned,
I've been asked to help out at [REDACTED]. Apperantly they've been reporting [REDACTED] at one of their facilities called Site-██. I know, pretty weird, right?
First they said the staff wanted to put on a ███ ████, but then everyone started to disappear! And now no one will answer the phone. Oh boy.
Anyway, I'm sure it's nothing -a little good old fashioned sleuthing won't solve.-
I'm feeling pretty optimistic about this one, and it shouldn't be too much of a bother. See you soon!
Ever yours, Nancy
Video finished like 20 mins ago and I'm still humming "I am toaster"...
This was a great game and I hope the studio can make more great titles in the future :) Thanks for taking us along for the ride Gab :D
Perhaps you are a toaster, how long did you observe the object? Do you have an unquenchable urge to toast bread? 😂
I got so attached to Penny and his paper dragon friends
Edit: I feel so bad for 239, they sounded so cute, small and confused!
Marion Wheeler in the ending is a reference to the story collection There Is No Antimemetics Division, which I highly recommend! it's a fantastic read and a great introduction to the wider landscape of the tales on the SCP wiki.
This game was so fun, and your jokes had me laughing so hard “young man” 😂
as someone who can't afford to buy games (even if i love them), you are giving me a chance to experience them through your streams/vods. thank you gab !! it may not be a big deal nor personal but it means a lot to me
Not me sobbing a little while the here be dragons story plays out knowing whats to come
Its my favorite scp im so glad they added it to the game
Omg i saw the paper dragon and actually started to tear up knowing what was coming. I love 1762 so much.
Also with object classes, it is based off of how easy it is to contain, not danger level. so a ball the kills you if you touch it can be considered "safe" because you can just lock it in a box and everythibg is fine, and on the flip side there is like 6113 that helps people at their lowest moment and saves them, but is considered "keter" because it can teleport and shift dimensions.
Your humor is absolutely on point, I cracked up several times 😂
(Spoilers in case you haven't finished the video/game!)
SCP-1762 always makes me cry and this game illustrates it perfectly. The childlike wonder in a universe full of death and despair it really is such a gorgeous story. It's so childish and wonderful and never fails to make me cry. I'm really glad this game included them :,)
Feel you bro
truly! i love how they portrayed this in the game as in Containment Breach those colorful dragons were possibly the only colorful SCP "group" in the game and that was a breath of fresh air in that whole tense game
I love how Daniel has pretty much dedicated his life to protecting and watching over the box now too. Such a sweet story
I don't see what the big deal is with that, the young girl being tortured is sadder
I agree, they did a great job with this story, and this is one of my old favorites as well.
“Training start in 3… 2… 1… ooo time to snap my neck”
You have no idea how appropriate that statement is 😂
Thanks so much for the fun video, i know it takes a ridiculous amount of work to make fun watchable content. I am very much appreciating it, thank you!!!
The presentation of a lot of these scenes give me Control vibes! I dig it!
that's exactly what i was thinking! gives very Control-y vibes
A 4hr+ video of Gab playing an SCP Foundation game where you play as an archivist right after my first ever finish of The Magnus Archives Season 3?! Well, strap me in and take my statement- this is gonna be great!
A 4 hour Gab video?! Be still my beating heart 😻 happy Friday to me
Lol I feel this so much 😂
"It's your fault, you didn't give me burger" is what I say to my boyfriend when I'm moody and hungry. 😅 Love your channel
Did anyone else see that Edith Finch was part of the training? :D
Oh I'm glad to see you play this! I also thought the whole SCP thing seemed interesting but didn't know where to start, everyone already seemed so far into it.
You just go to the website and start reading, really. Looking up the SCPs mentioned in the game is a good start.
16kg = 16,000 g
Standard loaf at my local store is 650g
16000/650 ~ 24.6 loaves of bread
Standard bread loaf is 22 slices and 2 end pieces for a total of 24 slices per loaf
24 loaves x 24 slices = 576 individual slices of bread
THAT'S A LOT OF BREAD
This seems like the best and funnest SCP game I’ve seen gameplay of so far. Gab’s commentary is just the cherry on top how is she so adorable 🥹💕
Remedy's control took from SCP and now an SCP game feels like it very openly took back from control's visuals.
Love it
God damn it gab, you said "I wonder if it'll get up and walk around like a spider" as I'm working through the spider region in cult of the lamb
3:51:24 That's the same scream used at the end of "Finally Free" by Dream Theater. I wonder how long that scream has been in use, and I never knew that's just a stock sound.
i still love how edith finch is in the meetings audience with you. like oh thats where she vanished too.
I loved how he kinda held your hand at the end lol.
i watched the beginning when she said "I'm such an SCP Noob" my first reaction was at irst, "Lets see how long she lasts" then became, "Oh you poor child...you poor, innocent child!"
LMFAO! Love ya gabs! love your work and everything you do! Never quit!!!
MORE!!! If this game has been updated since this video you NEEEEEEED to play it again!!
I've always had a passing interest in SCP but I'm very much like you Gab, completely new to it. This game is a fantastic introduction to the SCP universe. It doesn't go into deep exposition into like who/what are D-Class or stuff like that but it gives just enough information where you can understand the world.
Excited to watch!
anybody else notice that edith finch is an attendee during dr. hamm's presentation around 25:00?
When Gab post a vid, you know its gonna be a good day:3
The YT algorithm did us good.
Though I do enjoy a deep dive on interesting topics.
i am so impressed that you werent constantly shitting yourself when the mannequins moved in the early stages of scp 701, I was so fucking scared that I barely managed to continue playing haha, the toilets and vents freaked me out so much
*Me throughout the start of the video* Oh hey, crazy anomaly archivist, what is this The Magnus Archives? *hits **11:40* Oh sh-
I think this game captures the essence of SCP better than any other I've ever seen. Just an anthology of short stories, all in different styles and genres.
A 701 containment breach means I am out of there and nuking the site from orbit. Sadly the Foundation would never let me do that.
Oh good, I'm not the only one who puts on a Gab video while crafting! (I'm cross stitching :3)

the thing is, not all SCPs are horrible or scary, some are just like "Here Lies Dragons" box. That's why it's marked safe/neutralized.
This was such a great SCP game, love which SCPs they decided to showcase. Thank you for playing it!!
Thanks for playing! I was eagerly awaiting this!
I realize it was a joke but a Nancy Drew/SCP crossover is something I need in my life now.

Love the entire SCP universe, thanks for playing this one Gab!!
