i didn’t realize how many axiom discs I have in my bag, until shooting this video. Axiom is a very good reliable consistent brand, becoming one of my favorites!
I appreciate that you retrieved your misfire of the Fission Hex and threw it again so that we could see how the disc flies as it ought. Don't always get that dedication from other disc golf content creators. That Hex flew exactly as you described. Nice line up of midranges using just one mold!
Thank you! It’s nice to hear stuff like this, I try to create things that I would wanna see, it just makes sense to me to explain things and give good footage of what they do during flight! It took a min to find 3 hex’s that flew slightly different, axiom is good about making sure most molds fly similarly, lol 😂 but plastic and weight helps. Thanks for comment and happy new year
One for me that I just picked up more understable than the Crave that I LOVE is the Signal, 6,5,-3,1 or my relay 6,5,-2,1 for slightly less flippy. the relay is pretty beat up to more like a -2.5 now.
Once I threw the Crave, that’s all she wrote. Almost all MVP/Axiom/Streamline! They just feel right in my hand. They seem a tad shallower. Been really liking the Wrath lately. But honestly love them all!! 😂
I bag all of these minus the envy right now. Not for lack of having envys (8) i just love the proton pilot and neutron stabilizer combo alongside an electron soft proxy and nerve temple.
Honestly, I picked up the gyropalooza box this year and I love how the crave flew out of the box. I have bagged it and since doing that I neglect it… I love my glitch as well. I have a pair of them.
I started throwing MVP/Axiom early on before I had ever heard of James Conrad or the term "Gyro". The reason was how similar the discs feel in my hand. For instance, before moving to MVP/Axiom I was throwing a SOL, Comet and Buzz for my mids. All of these discs feel very different. Then I switched to a Paradox, Uplink and Hex and they all feel almost identical. It's kind of like the old school mold minimalization thing where you would beat in something like a Roc to 3 or more different stabilities. The difference is, you can buy these right off the shelf and have 3 discs that feel almost exactly the same buy fly differently. Same with the Envy and Proxy, and with the Signal, Relay and Servo. I have a couple Craves and they get a lot more love than the Relay, but to me the Relay is a better disc.
That disc for me is a Lift. Sometimes I get to thinking that its flippy and will flip over, but everytime i throw it its just point and shoot. Goes where i aim it at a pretty decently high speed.
I haven’t tried the watt yet but I’ve heard good things about it, I’ll definitely won’t be taking hex out anytime soon, lol so reliable. I’ll have to get a watt and try it out for sure
It was the crave for me. They say it’s always a passion but for me it’s always a crave unless just insane wind. The crave does what the master says very controllable. Just got another neutron crave as back up that I want to start beating in case mine is lost
I have a stable river that is just money. Holds and glides for days. I don't really have 300+ ft tunnel shots in my area except for 1 course, so it stays out of the bag. But when I do bag it, oh man, is it a thing of beauty.
I found a river on the course one time with no name and I tried it out, but it looked old and man was it Flippy, I didn’t bag it cause I didn’t need anything like it, but I could see a new one being nice. It definitely appeared to have a lot of glide for the time it was in air.
I got a instinct disc that comes in and out of my bag that is a sleeper disc that I'm trying to decide if I want to keep my bear disc or my instinct disc in the bag
Yes I literally just bought one a few weeks ago and I had it in bag for awhile… I used it a lot, mine was super stable… I bet I’ll put it back in bag. I have room for a few more discs, lol
Yes the one I have is super over stable, I just got a few in in lighter weights and different plastic to see how they compare, I can’t wait to see how that do
The Crave for me is just to stable. It does not turn for me. I've had 160'sg and have lost 2 on different water holes. I really wanted to like it because it feels good in the hand, but I'm not running out to get another one. I like the Hex 5 5 -1 1. Thanks for posting. I like the Streamline series Drift , Lift, Trace, Jet, Ascend
I haven’t tried any streamline discs, although I’ve wanted to for awhile. I’ve heard good things about the trace, I have a collectible one and not gonna throw it 😆.
Dude I STRUGGLE when it comes to dry skin. Ever since I got a new job. My hands get wet a lot. Lotion cant keep up. The disc slips out early if i try to out ANY amount of power behind my throw. Ive tried a glove...didnt really fix anything. I'm desperate to figure something out. If anyone had any advice, I'm all ears.
Not often, I wash my hands a lot where I work and it’s hard to keep them moisturized, lol I could start doing it every night before bed, that would prolly help
@DiscManiac28 If you are washing your hands frequently with hot water, it will be even worse. Get you some hand lotion and do it before and after you sleep. Especially after you shower is going to be the best time to lotion up.

The crave is the best. It beat out the inertia for the fairway spot.
I love it 😍

Fission Hex is my personal fave it just flies straight! I throw forehand love it! have 3 in the bag!
Once I threw the Crave, that’s all she wrote. Almost all MVP/Axiom/Streamline! They just feel right in my hand. They seem a tad shallower. Been really liking the Wrath lately. But honestly love them all!! 😂
I agree with the shallowness for sure but I have come to love them. The wrath is a great disc.
Proton Tesla 175g is my favorite disc. It also destroys the wind
One of my favorite discs
I don't throw my Crave much either - for some reason I gravitate to the Servo much more often.
Don’t think I’ve thrown a servo before.. may have to try it out
Love both! The Servo is great on a forehand too, as I find it has harder fade at the end.
I bag all of these minus the envy right now. Not for lack of having envys (8) i just love the proton pilot and neutron stabilizer combo alongside an electron soft proxy and nerve temple.
Love my glitchypoo! Upshot/run it city!
Conrad Envy. That day-glow yellow and it flies so true on drives, likes when ya rip it
It’s a great disc, I like how soft it lands, it’s definitely one to “RUN IT” lol
Honestly, I picked up the gyropalooza box this year and I love how the crave flew out of the box. I have bagged it and since doing that I neglect it… I love my glitch as well. I have a pair of them.
I really wanted to get the box this year but never did, I’ll have to wait and get the next one… well I should say last year lol
The black craves are amazing… but they are black… :/

I’ve noticed that for sure a lot feel very similar and I like that very much as well

Insanity is my favorite disc
I love that disc very good one
I bag a Glitch, Hex (soft neutron), and the disc I'd recommend, a Watt, also soft neutron, I prefer it to fission.
I haven’t tried the watt yet but I’ve heard good things about it, I’ll definitely won’t be taking hex out anytime soon, lol so reliable. I’ll have to get a watt and try it out for sure

Always nice to have a back up

Yeah I bought one for a buddy because I love mine so much... Flippy
My mid range sleeper is the rpm piwakawaka. Also in the fairway range is the rpm pekapeka.
I have never thrown them.
I got a instinct disc that comes in and out of my bag that is a sleeper disc that I'm trying to decide if I want to keep my bear disc or my instinct disc in the bag
I was the same way but I have taken mine out for now
Resistor never leaves the bag. Having a slightly slower speed Firebird/Raptor disc is amazing utility
Is that the 6 speed?
Yes I literally just bought one a few weeks ago and I had it in bag for awhile… I used it a lot, mine was super stable… I bet I’ll put it back in bag. I have room for a few more discs, lol
Have you tried an Axiom Fireball?
Yes the one I have is super over stable, I just got a few in in lighter weights and different plastic to see how they compare, I can’t wait to see how that do

Another guy commented and said he loves the signal 6/5/-3/1 it maybe a good option if the crave is to stable
i have a pink stamp hex like yours w the orange rim. thought it was mine for a second
lol maybe my most favorite disc in my bag
That’s cool we have same disc. The pink stamps are more rare

If what I do works I’ll definitely let you know, I was getting irritated cause they kept slipping out
@DiscManiac28 cool thanks! It's a frustrating feeling.

If you tried a grippy glove and it didn't fix it, sounds more like hand fatigue or subconsciously letting go is the problem.
I wanna buy that Envy from you.. that Bear stamp is sweet
Thanks:) it’s gotten a lot less stable lately flys really straight
@@DiscManiac28 interested in selling it to me?
@@beansontopofbeans yea what what do you think is a fair price?
@@DiscManiac28 I don't even know? $20 shipped?
@@beansontopofbeans I’ll do that, I can post it on eBay and send ya the link, that work for you?
Try a proton Matrix.. soo good
Ok I’ll have to get my hands on one, thanks
"I feel my hands are so dry throughout the winter."
How often are you applying lotion to your skin?
Not often, I wash my hands a lot where I work and it’s hard to keep them moisturized, lol I could start doing it every night before bed, that would prolly help

Sweet, thanks for tips, I’ll give it a try and see what happens.
