- In this video we will be showing you how to make a very simple, new & improved Villager Trading Hall Design for Minecraft Java & Bedrock 1.20. This design is easily expandable and is survival friendly.
Material List:
• Building blocks needed depends on the size of the hall you are going for
• 1 zombie needed per 5 - 7 villagers
-Per villager:
• 1 Regular Piston
• 1 Trapdoor
• 1 Redstone dust
• 1 Lever
This design is like our previous one but made more survival friendly. It uses regular pistons instead of sticky ones and is easier to build + Minecraft Bedrock compatible

I've cored one and it's trade for bookshelfs was 3 emeralds I cored it again and still three emeralds for a bookshelf

3:42 Make sure your difficulty is set to "Hard" or else the villager can die as there is 50% chance of villager becoming zombie villager in "Normal" mode. In "Hard" mode there is 100% chance. :)
does it still work in 1.20?
@@ekmekinpain you can only cure the Zombie Villager once and that will be the finals rates he will give. So can't do again and again to get an item for 1 emerald.

Two notes:
1. For anyone who's having difficulty getting the zombie to hit their villager, just walk away from the hall after lowering the villager, the zombie is probably targetting you instead of the villager. If that doesn't work you may want to lead the zombie to the villager you want it to target.
2. If you want to replace a villager's work station repeatedly you can put a trap door on the upper half of the block above the work station. This will let you grab their work station after breaking it while also preventing the villager from getting out.
I have the first problem and its kinda annoying to put one zombie for one villager
With the first prob you might wanna kill and bring another zombie. Note: don't hit a zombie otherwise it will only target you not the villager

@@JettSchwaegler- Nope only on hard. Plus they will most likely change the villager infection system, so the infection sytem might be useless in the future

If you’re having a problem with villagers linking to work stations, try putting a bed next to the hall.
How does that work?

@@Spdooper68nah i‘ve hade the same issue when i placed the lectern on the same block multiple times because he didn’t have mending, the trades at some point stopped resetting. Only when i placed the lectern on another block the trades resetted
For anyone having a problem with getting villagers I suggest you build a villager farm breeder, it does indeed transport villagers immediately to a minecart and you can make it go anywhere you want.

As of 1.20.2, Zombie curing can only be done once. More than one wont have any affect.

That's calling a "nerf" - to downgrades the power of some mechanics, so players won't get any high unlockables very fast.
Here they did it with villagers, especially nerfing librarians, so people won't spam with enchanted books too early.@@JairOnTelevision

Easy tip: place first the workstations then you can put villeagers from above, they will go by themself

very good, exactly what I'm looking for.
I have two problems: (I’m playing on Bedrock 1.20)
1. My zombie keeps targeting only one villager and ignores any other one
2. My villagers keeps linking to workstations that isn’t in front of them and that would be fine but it’s confusing if I want to refresh the trades

You can try placing a bed beside each villager,I think that works,might need to space then out more
I just give up on it and made it open plan
once you got a good trade lock it and just swap the worstations

If you break the block inbetween the villagers and throw a splash potion the right way you can hit 2 villagers at once using oonly 1 splash potion
You can do 3 villagers with 1 splash potion

My villager won't accept his workstation, any advice? There isn't any other villagers in the chunk and he accepts a bed placed outside of the hall
If you traded with the villager before it locks in its trades

I zombify/heal my villagers and select their trades one-at-a-time, far away from the others before placing them in a hall. Works much better.

I have built this on a large scale, i think about 25-30 villagers now. All of them Librarians for enchantment books, all locked in and trading with a workstaion in front of them.
The problem i have is that sometimes, when i add a new villager and place the lectern down, there is no sync. I then discover the new lectern has synced to a another villager that has already synced to another lectern, de-syncing from the original one placed down in front of him.
I have now probably reset the whole thing 3 or 4 times, by breaking all work stations and re-syncing all of them one by one. They are all locked in and can continue to trade, but when adding a new villager gets frustrating when it de-syncs.
Do you have enough beds?

You have to trade with them to lock in the trades forever. I remember having this issue when I was grinding for a mending villager and I almost quit the whole design.

Started working on a trading village a few days ago with this method and haven’t turned any to zombies yet because I’m worried my book trades will go away as I’ve broken the lectures over and over again to get specific trades, once I turn them to a zombie is that specific trade going to be gone?
as long as you have traded with them once, their trades should be locked in permanently. Though you could loose them if something goes wrong during the transformation (zombifying) stage. Make sure they are covered from the sun and way from iron golems too.

if u change the difficulty to hard theres a 100% chance theyll become zombies

I made this and it works well, but for some reason one end keeps blowing up and letting multiple villagers loose and I have to keep rebuilding it

Everything works fine with one slight issue, I am running Java 1.20. Once I place the villager in its station and I break its mine cart, it hops to the back where the zombie is. If I don't break the mine cart, it seems I am unable to get them to engage a workstation. Again, everything else works PERFECT but this one issue is quite irritating

My zombie is fixed on one villager only. I pull the lever on a different one and the zombie doesn't care about it.
Punch the zombie then go around and stand in front of the villager u want to convert. Then walk backwards as far as possible. The zombie will lose sight of u and attack the villager.

you can put the zombie in a minecart and it won't despawn, and you still get the ability to move the zombie and zombificate

Guys i had doubt that what if i didn't like the trade and wanted to break the lectern and place it again is it working on this or something else has to be done?
my fletcher „drops“ xp behind him and they cant get through his working station so i only can collect from the part where the zombie is
If I destroy their station after I turned them back from a zombie into a normal villager, will the job he gets next have the sale? Also should I buy something from them before I turn them or will it switch, since it rerolls sometimes if you don’t buy what they have

How many times do you need to do it to get 1 emerald for bookshelf? I've done it like 6 times on 1.20.4
On 1.20.2 or later, you can only cure 1 time
It wont have any effect after 1.20.2

bro's pc is cracked and built different to run realistic minecraft with no lag. Mine can run it too. Also GREAT Trading Hall tutorial! I always come back to it and watch it
Bonus Tip:Dont break the minecart to prevent the villager from getting out or just a place a trapdoor on the upper half block.
Can the zombie still get to them in the Minecart?
Just bring the villager back of the place they should be, break the floor on it. villager will go and fall himself to desired work station
remember to not have any work station (except for villagers already linked) around your base
The zombies aren’t able to damage the viligers

works great except some of the villages sold out and won’t refresh and are out of stock
guys my villagers are uptaking random professions, not the one i assign to them (by placing a workstation infront of them) how do i fix this???
check if they took another profession before unemployment. if they did break the workstation which triggering it. if you trade once you cant change the profession. hope that helps.
My issue is my villagers connect to the wrong stations, so they can't refill trades.. i have 4 farmers that have different trades, but when i put composters, they connect to the other composters instead of the ones infront of them. Idk what to do
Try breaking all of the composter stations, then place a composter in front of the villagers. You will see the green sync star above the villager that the station is synced to. Break the work station again, then place it in front of the villager you saw the sync happen.
Repeat the process until all villagers sync and stations sorted.
@benjwhiting I've done this. But after every night they reconnect to different ones. Or if leave the vicinity and come back they change stations

i’d say 65-100 blocks away so the villagers won’t lock onto the work stayions
