Thanks for filming him speaking. The sound quality was great at the venue, but I moved to the side of the stage at this point of the night, couldn't quite make out all of what he was saying.

It was so damn loud that I could barely work out the melody sometimes, I was in the middle up front with people screaming in my ear and missed some of his words here. Haha. Thank you so damn much.

At the Boston show? I was in the middle front row too but I didn't have any problems hearing, but I also use earplugs

@Nova Collects I wasn't on the front row but in the center in the standing zone. It was abnormally loud for a concert. The audio crew destroyed some of the audio, but sometimes, it happens. Not every concert can be perfect. Most kept saying the drummer was too loud, and you could see Valo on stage telling him not to hit his drums too hard, but that wasn't the case. I love my music loud, but sometimes, too much of anything has unwanted results. My father was there as well, sitting in the back and noticing how botched the audio was, and he has bad hearing as it is and agreed that it was way too loud. Even my gf pointed it out when we left that the treble was overbearing, and the bass was shaking our lungs and head. Valo still sounded good, but the melody was very hard to work out. Valo has hand queues for the crew, and you can see him lifting his hands up for the crew to edit something in the audio. This happens. Many concerts have inadequate audio crews. They'll get better. My friends and family have agreed to go elsewhere when we see Valo again. We'll be staying away from Big Night Live. All the best for them though.

@@prop9221 hey, randomly stumbled to this comment, but same was in London. I could not hear a thing, but my phone recorded fine. Venues are just too small for this type of music. Or maybe he didn't have choice with audio crew. He mentioned, that it was hard to put a tour after pandemic. He could not find services and people. Anyway, atmosphere was enigmatic.

@Indre Mik Average Concerts usually sit around 120 Decibles. That's enjoyable even without ear protection. (Which is always advisable) This was definitely way above that. Even with ear protection. I wish I had a decible meter to measure it. Not everything is perfect, I suppose. I don't regret boston though, still had fun even if the speakers were blown, and it was difficult to work out the melody.

Being up front is the worst place because the speakers are in front of you

I love how he’s Finnish but speaks English like he’s from London. Except for the word heart, which oddly sounds Texan. Haaart. He’s also devastatingly gorgeous STILL. Like it probably rains vaginas any time he walks outside.
