i tried to delete this channel because it's addictive. But I had to re-instate it because it's just about THE Most authentic vlog out there! You are so calming and authentic and there's no nastiness. Perhaps I will limit myself to once a week or a special treat. Thank you for sharing ur life :)
Jo the little cottage is beautiful. My husband is a builder who works on listed buildings and echo houses. I showed it to him and he says this is the kind of house that lends itself to being worth renovating. He has turned lots of these houses into homes over the years and everyone of them has been beautiful. Unfortunately we have never been able to afford to buy one ourselves but one can dream😂😂. ❤️
A country side cottage: so much appealing at this time of the year! Project yourself in this cottage in December or January when the sun set at 3:30 pm. Like a boat, you love the countryside cottage the day you buy it and the day you sell it. In between, just payments and hard work to get things done!
Hello Jo, I live in a house with a garden which is not far from the country. It has definitely helped just to sit/eat outside in this gorgeous sunshine. I think about when I retire where I will live... you’ve got to keep your dream alive. Keep on looking Jo, it might not be for now but in the future. See you Wednesday. Take care and stay safe x
I feel so happy that I didn't sell my house. I was thinking about it late last year, but these last weeks in quarantine I have been doing repairs, painting, planting a vegetable garden, refinishing old furniture, and all those nesting things. It has been so nice not to be trapped like many people are.
I was born and brought up in London, but moved away when I was 25, now living in West Sussex. It’s wonderful. No traffic noise at all, woodland and beautiful scenery all around. I don’t miss London one little bit.
Fabulous; i moved to the countryside on 10 Jan 2020 - so glad I did as the beautiful garden & birdsong has saved me through this illness and difficult time.
After shielding for 11 weeks in my home, it has made me really think about life and all its parts! I have loved being in my home and I love the very bones of my house! I feel blessed to have my wee space that I share with my family! I love all the rooms, the decor, the garden, the way the sun shines through the window, the way the rain pelts the window! I have a new appreciation of loving what I have and how little I actually need! Less is definitely more! Love your channel Jo and thanks for sharing! Love and hugs Jackiex ❤️🏡❤️
I live in Shropshire. I loved my house the very first day I viewed it and 10 years on, I still absolutely love it. It's only a small house but it's so easy to clean and heat. 2 minutes from my house is a nature reserve with a lake and swans and 5 minutes walk in the opposite direction is a convenience shop and gp surgery. I have the country and the town. I'm not worried about getting old here and getting about. The cottage looks amazing. I love the look of the house but not sure about being so remote in old age. The only thing I want is a downstairs WC! Go with your heart. X
So nice to see Aviva again! Happy to see she's well. I fully understand your love for that cottage but realistically, it would need a complete renovation which would be costly. But it's a nice thought! Xxx
Jo, you seem to keep coming back to this idea so I think your soul is speaking to you. If you don’t want a lot of space a small cottage would be perfect. Have you considered trying to stay at your Mums to try out the commute and the quieter life?
at the moment Im commuting from my mums because she has a broken collar bone...but its a town. I want to live completely alone in a field with 4 x dogs!
@@MiddleAgedMinx Jo, have you thought about building a tiny house on wheels, and just renting a small piece of land from a farmer? You probably couldn't fit 4 dogs in a tiny house, but 2 would be doable. This might solve the cost part of the equation. Where is the UK at with regards to tiny houses? If you want to see some tiny house inspiration, check out the UA-cam channel called Living Big in a Tiny House. My heart has been yelling at me too, and lockdown has reinforced my need to get out of the city and move to the country. I've known this for a long time, but the urge has become much stronger.
@@Susan-qg9tm great idea, but she could buy the camper and live in it whilst renovating this cottage. I think it could be literally a paradise. Those views and that peace do not come long very often xox
MiddleAgedMinx I live in the middle of nowhere with four dogs and I have a lot to say about it, positive and negative, which I shall endeavor to share with you when I have a few minutes and a proper keyboard (it’ll take hours on an iPad!). Such a fun idea and very peaceful, but there are so many practical matters to consider. But FOUR dogs...is absolute heaven.
I moved back from New York to a tiny village in Ireland, nearest shop 2 miles. It was the best decision of my life, especially with covid and all the rioting that's going on in USA. I have never felt more secure and free. Before you fall asleep regardless of what your beliefs are you should ask the universe for guidance. I think there is nothing like being part of a small community to rally around you in times of need. Good luck love your chanel xx🍀
I've just found you via Nadine Baggott, I live in a small cottage , semi rural ( not as idyllic as the one your looking at ,location wise ) but pretty cool inside, years of restoration etc) but even so ,I get fed up during this lockdown, PLUS , a river, flows right down my back garden, "oh how beautiful you may say" , well yeah , until approx 5 years ago, the local authority or somebody built a sluice to accommodate the reservoirs and now excess rainfall , the reservoirs become too full , the water runs down into the river and OMG the river is SO FULL , GUSHING, NOT FLOODED YET , BUT I DON'T SLEEP ON STORMY , RAINY NIGHTS 😱 my point , there is ALWAYS SOMETHING HUN 🤔 ya know "" the grass is greener !! What will be will be I think for you Jo , I think the universe will answer your dilemma for you 🌈🌏🤷♀️🧡
Jo, as an alternative plan could you consider buying a park home for weekends and holidays. They are usually much cheaper than bricks and mortar, tend to be in picturesque places and have a more mature community for socialising. That way you could keep your rented flat, but have somewhere to escape to...you can get some very nice ones! ( You do have to take in to account most have a ground rent to pay). Hope your mum is healing well!😊
I'm NOT going to scream, "NO, JO, NO!". I'm going to scream, "YES, JO, YES!". I really think you should go for it! You keep coming back to this idea, so my instinct would be that it's the right move for you. I think the cottage is magical and could be a wonderful, welcoming, cosy home. It's small and perfect for you! I'd LOVE to see the renovation of it too. I say: DO IT! xx
That cottage is lovely. thankful now to live in the country with my garden and dog, close enough to travel in to work. I would recommend renting a place in the country to see if you like the solitude. Live there for a whole year to see if you can deal with winter. Can feel long and dark. Good luck!
Stopping halfway through...to say, all I hear is birdsong and breeze! This is glorious. I hope for you to get it , make it habitable and enjoy immersing yourself in nature. Dream house.❤️🙏🏼👏🏻🌿
Im in country Australia, and have a small farm. We have been in lockdown, but have freedom to roam around. The worst of it for us is just the options for doing what we want has been taken away. It's been isolating and see noone. I'd live the cottage and would get it if i could, get septic and water, and move in . 😍
Jo I moved from NW London to Suffolk in January and I love love love It!!!. I have a beautiful sunny garden with all types of birds popping in. It’s friendly here, clean peaceful and I don’t regret it one bit. :) X
.... hi, enjoyed your vlog...first time I've met you so to speak..... you sound exactly like the late and lovely Honor Blackman.... I think you have a look of her also...
Jo, do it!! You been putting out there what you wanted and now the universe has brought it to you. Fantastic house, beautiful land and near your mum. If not this one, then another one but please do it if it feels right x
Jo, that cottage is beautiful!...just love the design and original details. Please consider buying it...it's a manageable size - to renovate in stages and, just think, you can walk straight out of your front door onto the meadow with Matilda. As a freehold, it will always be an investment that never diminishes.
Jo it is a quaint property, so when you clutch that daytime Radio 2 gig you would be able to purchase it and spruce it up to your liking and use it for the weekends and even do an Air'b'n'b arrangement. If I had the finances I would jump at the chance.
Jo - this is just a lovely dream. We're in strange times & you're restless. It's too quiet for you. You LOVE London. Save your money for little trips to the country. All that commuting & leaving Matilda.
Jo you are not mad..it looks gorgeous and what fun you would have getting it renovated. Its not that far from London..if you could afford it go for itxx
Yes! I think it's a great idea. If you're travelling up to London, you'll still get to enjoy London life. To cut down too much travelling, you could come to an arrangement with a friend that you stay at in London once or twice a week for late nights. I love London but but if I could afford to do that I would. If you weren't able to go out to work, you would have gone stir crazy (unless you stay in the flat with the roof garden). Deep meditation will find the answer. Good thing that it seems Aviva would never see you homeless. Wish I'd had someone like her around when I was buying. My house is like a noose around my neck.
How beautiful is that setting Jo birds twittering etc and the wild garden I suppose as you say that area has lovely memories for you. At this stage it’s an important decision for you indeed xx I’ve been working during lockdown but the weather has made such a difference on my days off as felt no pressure to go anywhere ie shops!, which has been lovely really.I have really appreciated the garden to sit in hiding and enjoy! ..and ignore the weeds! We have had our family grow up here and still have a few of our sons hanging about but we are seriously thinking of downsizing as we move to next chapter eek ! Suppose think of your mum and how she’s managed ,..would like to be near shops and gp ( boring but true) be nice to get half way house .. little house with little garden easy to maintain and enjoy but be near London too is there such a place,!?!? Lots of love plus love that flouncy dress xx
Hi Jo, the cottage is lovely, although the move would mean a massive lifestyle change! Have you thought about renting in the country for 6 months to see if you even like it? It seems like you don’t have to make a decision yet, maybe when the time does come you will have more of a sense what to do, don’t rush it xx
I have adored my lockdown in the Cotswolds , the weather helped and having my grown up kids with me too. I became creative and grew vegetables etc and started to sell Kimonos haha even though my usual business is aesthetic surgery !!! Lots of love , love your look and your vlog xxx💋
The cottage was so beautiful and I agree with you it would be a real shame if somebody converted it to a new 4 bed ..... it would totally lose all its charm and it really is very very charming... a little house for a little lady.
Hi Jo I saw this video last night ! Bit Behind ... anyway , Yes, fab house and property .., BUT won’t you feel a bit Lonely ? I think you might miss popping out to the shops in Marylebone and going round Soho . When I lived in the Country I felt I couldn’t be as spontaneous with my Friends ... and sometimes on dark evenings I wouid be there putting another log on the fire being cosy and meanwhile my friends were out having a laugh in London . I’ve now moved back ... but wouldn’t mind moving out just a little teeny bit ... so I can have the best of both , but too remote isn’t for everyone ! Good luck with your decisions xx
Definitely see you in your woolly hat as a female version of Compo in Last of the Summer wine lol 😊. Go for it. Be lovely for Matilda and closer to your lovely mum. Hope she is feeling better. A broken collar bone is so painful. Sending best wishes
Beautiful cottage and I can see you being very happy there. Do your sums and whatever the renovation costs are add another £10,000, minimum!!! London isn’t a million miles away and you can always get Filipe to cut the grass for you.
I have def started thinking about moving. I don't have any outside space / balcony and that is 1 thing I have really noticed during this time, and feel like it would have made it a bit easier to be in lockdown - even though I am very grateful for my flat! I have already started looking online to see what is out there. I think a lot of people will be in a similar boat, only thing is if property prices go down it also means that people will have to sell their properties for less. I am very interested to see what happens to the London property market.
Jo four years ago Ioved from London to a small village just outside of Bristol. Its got a Pub and little village shop, and I spent a lot of money on doing up the house and making it into what I wanted ,and in the gardenI planted Austin Roses and Trees ,it’s lovely. But I miss the London Theatres and the London way of life and the people. So if I do it again I would try and not move too far from London but still have the peace I crave. So that would be my advice . I really missed the London Underground system for getting around quickly, of course you can drive but sometimes it’s nice to get to where you want to go quickly Stay where you are at the moment and escape by visiting your Mum.🥰
I love our home, and the garden has been my sanctuary 💗🌸🌼🌺🌷🌻. But in time we will downsize, we have too many rooms and 5 bedrooms, so don’t intend to spend my retirement years cleaning anything more than I need to!! But would definitely want a little garden or outdoor space 💗. Have a good week jo xx
Hi Jo ...I love it so peaceful..as u get older u learn to appreciate quiet time and have little projects of to work on...IT would be so cute fixed up and I can just envision it..hope ur mom is good.y'all stay safe and oh I love ur dress💞💞
Hi Jo I live in Kent.I am near country and near a town and I love it.I just feel moving to the country with nothing around can be hard as we get older and so not so practical not to be near a town. But I wish you luck what ever you decide x
💛💚💛💗💛💝💛 you can always go visit all your buddies in the city. We have been gardening & outside this while quarantine. I have a lovely tan from long country walks too.
I live in a small house on the edge of SE London and Kent (Sidcup - which i know you know well!). I have toyed for many years with the idea of moving further out to get more house for my money. But 7 years ago at the age of 50 I unexpectedly developed a neurological condition that stopped me driving and made me very dependent on good public transport. It made me realise how important it was to be close to good public transport, near to shops and also the life (and friends) i have made here over 20 years. I also love going into London from time to time to visit galleries and the theatre - just 20 mins to London Bridge from here!) I do still sometimes hanker for a bit more space, peace and quiet at times but i know this is the right place for me to be living, particularly as I head towards my 60s! The countryside is OK while you have your health but (unless you're in a village with a great community and family close by) it's not a place to grow old in. Just my humble opinion :-)
Thanks for this video, Jo! Your dress at the beginning of the video is just darling - you are Springtime personified! I very much understand the appeal of living in a cottage on a country lane. I live in a small house in a very expensive real estate market, and I have to say that during lockdown it feels even smaller. Do you think you might feel isolated though? I'm interested to see what will happen with the market in the coming months, and the effects of covid on the market. Keeping my eyes open. Have a great week, Jo! Hope your mum is on the mend. xo
Yes Jo, yes! The sound of the birds is beautiful. I'm of a similar age as you and live in suburban Melbourne and can't decide what I want to do next - country or an apartment in the city.
Gorgeous dress, it’s so perfect on you. I find myself gravitating to more pretty patterned clothes after decades of minimalist grey and navy. As for the house, like you I’m half torn about getting out of Central London and buying in the country . So hard to know what’s ahead in lots of different ways, but I’d want a fast link to London so that I could get to shops and galleries. My husband is desperate to get out as we have dreadful neighbours , but I hate upheaval!
I love it!You can make it your own!You can fix it up a little at a time.Owning my own house during lock down i have felt safe.I have a modest home in a suburb of Houston. My yearly taxes are not that bad in my neighborhood.Lots of love and luck to you!💕
It's all fine and dandy, having romantic visions of a life in a secluded place, surrounded by nature and visited by wildlife, but where is the nearest dental clinic? :-)
Follow your heart Jo! I crave peace. Nothing is set in stone. Dip your toe in the water and have a look at a few properties. You will feel it if the right place comes along! X
About five years ago, my husband and I found a house for sale about 2.miles from the sea, in the grounds of a house that had been converted into flats and next to the church: just what we wanted! We always said we'd love to live by the sea, in Suffolk. But as the exchange of contracts came closer, I suddenly realised I love where we are now, within easy reach of London, but in a lovely small town and I couldn't bear the idea of someone else living in my house. I mentioned my doubts, and found my husband was feeling the same, so we pulled out of the sale and purchase. Since then, we have done all the things to our house that we hadn't bothered with before, as we expected to be moving. Sometimes dreams should stay that way, but then again, you won't know until you try. Tough decision for you: I personally think the cottage you found looks lovely and could be really gorgeous with a bit of tlc, but the weather is good now and you're fit and active, so maybe you need to consider how you would feel in the depths of winter, at night. Then again, you might love living there, so as others have said, try renting so ewhere first to test the water. Good luck anyway!
Jo. I feel your dilemma..!! Head/heart.! I currently live in the house myself & my husband had. He died 3.5 yrs ago & I feel its not my life/space any longer. I love change & am thinking of poss Brighton/ Hove . I'm 49 so want a new chapter. I wish u well & strength in your decision. You'll do it when u feel it.. Hugs. X!!!
Aawww, thank you for your reply Lorraine.. Its terribly sad he's not here. A new life literally started the day after he passed but it takes time to get your head round it. Lockdown has helped me really assess my surroundings ,as I think its done with many. A strong desire to get out & "make it count" fires me. X!
@@lorrainequinn you are too kind. ! My husband would give anything to be here now,so I must live it for 2 ..!! U sound powerful too so make it yours as well..!! Amazing how Jo's viewer's can buoy one another on,but "birds of a feather" & all that eh.?!. All the best Lorraine.. X!!
Jo, I think you should follow your dreams. That location is impossibly storybook gorgeous. If you have the money, go for it. It'll be a project and a property for life, but it seems to speak to your soul. You could always go into London for the occasional weekend.
Aww Jo Sussex looks lovely. I'm 51 and forever considering moving away from a dreary north east UK town and go to Scotland. I am on my own but I just feel lost and I am so unhappy at work. I'm sure the right property will appear at the right time. Julie x
You look sensational in that beautiful floral dress. That house would bring so much stress into your life. It's all about lifestyle and you certainly have that in London. I can't see you wearing your Samatha Sung dresses whilst doing the gardening. 🌻🌼🌺
I wonder if they have running water? Looking forward to finding out more Jo. X I love your hair longer ...it’s very glam. Jo, just to say, we moved to Dorking area 10 years ago from the Twickenham, then Surbiton area...and we love it. However, it is not buzzy London! It depends what you want.
I dont think your mad, i love that you would keep it as it is, with a bit of modernisation. who needs big, small is beautiful. good luck in whatever you do
Buy it now ! I live very close to where you’re looking and you’ll love it. West Sussex is very different in a good way. I can’t begin to say how much it warms my heart to hear you’d keep it as is. Go for it right this minute and live the life you want 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💛
Hello Jo Love the Vlog, your looking very "Well" the cottage, go with your gut!! It is a good size, needs work, great location... Your not getting any younger! Need to take that step soon... The Place your in at the moment will not be there forever!!! You will do whats right for you!!! Keep doing what you do!!! Thank you.
It's a lot to think about Jo. How much longer do you plan to work at BBC? The land is lovely but I would like something where there was a small village within walking distance
Jo Collins Hi jo, I’m originally from London but moved to Jamaica 6year ago, I live in the blue mountains on a blue mountain coffee farm. It’s such a blessing to have the outside space, fresh mountain air and long hiking walks in the mountains. I’m a real ppl person and a city girl so at first it was very hard living here but I’m so in love with the surroundings nature plus eating what we grow. It has really help me enjoy my own company and appreciate my life to the fullest . I listen to u most mornings out here on the mountain top. Next time I’m in London I will bring u some blue mountain coffee as I know you love it .... keep safe x
Go for it Jo! We lived in a suburb of a large country town and my husband got it in his head to move further out into the countryside onto a small acreage. I was reticent but now love living here. Lock down has not impacted greatly on us. You'll make the decision that's right for you anyway. Love and hugs from the Hunter Valley Australia 💞💖😊
Might I suggest if you are planning such a HUGE move, that you rent somewhere first? Then at least you've got a get out clause and are not saddled with a place you have problems in selling. Come to the suburbs (tongue firmly in cheek!)!!! West Putney, Barnes... Get the best of both worlds !! I LOVE it here in Putney, I am surrounded by Commons and Heaths, and can walk to Richmond Park...
Jo this is such a little gem and you were meant to find it. If you don't move now when you are fit and able the choice could bè taken out of your hands. Imagine all the utube content you would have if you buy this place and renovate. By posting this you are starting to materialise your dream. Keep going. Don't stop talking about it and dreaming about it. Start planning how you will decorate it etc. Dream about your walks with your dogs. Picture them - what do they look like. Where are their beds in the little cottage... Its all about the law of attraction. You need to put it out there in the most positive way. Start thinking of it as "my little cottage". Write it down. Start researching how to removate and decorate it. The Universe will take care of the rest. Remember if you think you are beaten - you are. Love your energy, your style and love of life. Thats your nature and its nothing to do with living in London. You've taken the first step to realising your dream. Keep going. Xx
I totally relate to you your dream . Originally from London now living in a small flat with no balcony in Toronto. I would love to live where I could step outside into peaceful nature. Lockdown has made me realize more than ever how invaluable having your own little piece of land is. I think we should follow our instincts , take a keep of faith. and be where we really want to be.
After 9 weeks in lockdown in our city house in Belgium, all I want to do is go back to the UK and buy a country/sea side house on the Isle of Wight! I’ve Pinterest boards filled with Isle of Wight property inspiration. We will definitely be moving - no doubt about it, island life beckons! The right property will appear for you in perfect timing Jo, I’m sure xx
Jo I did this move to country but being isolated I live alone found it quite lonely and bit vulnerable. Lasted one year and returned to primrose hill studio flat xxxx❤️
Great blog - love Aviva! The little cottage and surrounding land is absolutely gorgeous - I can so see you there! It would be a money pit though! I went to the country for lockdown which was fantastic but back in the City now - I’m a bit like you love both town and country. How’s your mum? Any update on her collar bone recovery?
Hi Jo definitely know how you are thinking at present.Wondering if I could move to the country and live a slower pace of life.Go with your gut Jo and embrace your next chapter Xx.
I moved back home two yrs ago to do travel nursing; then I nursed my dad post cancer surgery and after being stuck in the house with my parents for two months I’m looking for apts now. Lol. I love your channel Jo. ♥️
Any way you can get a ladder in the mini in order to prop it up and see the view if you opened up the trees behind? I think it’s adorable and if you have the cash (plus 30% contingency) it would be an amazing project and new life xx
I have really appreciated having a garden and being just a couple of minutes walk from a huge open heathland and forest during this time. But your bijoux flat and London life suits you so well . Maybe wait a while before moving to the country!!
Live near a market town but we have lovely Charnwood Forest on the doorstep - ideal compromise. Would hate to be without a garden. Perhaps eventually going back to Brighton would be the ideal for you Jo. A buzz without the very high expense.
Fresh fields, peace and quiet may be just the thing in a few years time after the busy fabulous life yourve been living. If you know and love the area the cottage is situated in that's an extra bonus. Either way, if the survey is all good I think your landlady seemed enthusiastic and she seems pretty savvy.
Love your dress , Jo . Cottage very quaint , I wouldn’t want to change style , only do necessary to make it habitable . Certainly would mean some serious thinking . We’re fortunate to live in the country with big garden and nearest shops only about a mile away . Lockdown has been ok for us but other people possibly not so good for them . 😀
Love the little house 🥰. I moved to the suburbs with actual fields around me and it took a good while to get used to the quiet. It freaked the hell out of me. I did get use to it. Also your hair this length looks beautiful, really suits you. Xx

Such a joy to watch you on a Sunday afternoon in Pennsylvania!!!!
I love they way people are telling you / suggesting to you what you should do. You do whatever you like!
Love it Jo !! Go for it, a new adventure. Be brave, you can do it xxx
.... hi, enjoyed your vlog...first time I've met you so to speak..... you sound exactly like the late and lovely Honor Blackman.... I think you have a look of her also...
I take that as a huge compliment...thankyou
x
Jo, do it!! You been putting out there what you wanted and now the universe has brought it to you. Fantastic house, beautiful land and near your mum. If not this one, then another one but please do it if it feels right x
Beautiful country Jo. I also hear the siren call of the country. I do like the 'rent and try' suggestion below ;-)
An absolute gem of a little place. Pretty as a picture
I agree with you!
Hi Jo
I saw this video last night !
I live in the middle of know where, grew up in the country but I’ve lived all over. Never been happier. You just have to be happy in yourself 🤷♀️
Jo do what your heart desires, lovely to see you and Aviva. ❤❤
I really missed the London Underground system for getting around quickly, of course you can drive but sometimes it’s nice to get to where you want to go quickly
Stay where you are at the moment and escape by visiting your Mum.🥰
I think its Londoners I would miss the most
I love our home, and the garden has been my sanctuary 💗🌸🌼🌺🌷🌻.
Oh my goodness!!! The Workman's cottage is absolutely charming! So lovely, peaceful...I would grab it
💛💚💛💗💛💝💛 you can always go visit all your buddies in the city. We have been gardening & outside this while quarantine. I have a lovely tan from long country walks too.
I think you’d love it Jo! Go for it! No pockets in shrouds! Xxx
An apartment in the city. Melbourne is one of the best cities in the world.
I’ve loved having a garden and also being able to walk into woodland. I’d go for your dream 💕
Karen Ferns Good luck, Karen. I wish you happiness and joy with whatever choices you make. ❤️
Thank you Michelle.. That's so kind of you..!! Wishing you good times too..!!
Let me tell you I live in Los Angeles and after last night YES I would love to move to a nice quite cottage with no people!
I love being in the countryside with fewer people - it's bliss!
Me too
Adorable...go for it! So peaceful!
Caught your bug Jo, just LOVE the cottage, it is amazing xx
I dont think your mad, i love that you would keep it as it is, with a bit of modernisation. who needs big, small is beautiful. good luck in whatever you do
Buy it now ! I live very close to where you’re looking and you’ll love it. West Sussex is very different in a good way. I can’t begin to say how much it warms my heart to hear you’d keep it as is. Go for it right this minute and live the life you want 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💛
Hello Jo
Love the Vlog, your looking very "Well" the cottage, go with your gut!! It is a good size, needs work, great location... Your not getting any younger! Need to take that step soon... The Place your in at the moment will not be there forever!!! You will do whats right for you!!!
Keep doing what you do!!!
Thank you.
I live in the country and during this time it has been such a blessing! It's made me appreciate where I live even more ❤️
I think thats why I want to move...but what about winter?
Fire burner heaven , It's lovely Jo ❤️.
It's a lot to think about Jo.
How much longer do you plan to work at BBC?
The land is lovely but I would like something where there was a small village within walking distance
Jo Collins
Hi jo, I’m originally from London but moved to Jamaica 6year ago, I live in the blue mountains on a blue mountain coffee farm.
Next time I’m in London I will bring u some blue mountain coffee as I know you love it .... keep safe x
Ahh Jo I love the little house but I movef from New York to Ireland and love it but it took me 3 yrs,so stay in London and think it through.xx
I love that cottage and don’t think you’re crazy at all as long as the commute to work is reasonable!
Love the cottage but love your London lifestyle you’d get a bit lonely after a while 👍😀🌺
Might I suggest if you are planning such a HUGE move, that you rent somewhere first? Then at least you've got a get out clause and are not saddled with a place you have problems in selling. Come to the suburbs (tongue firmly in cheek!)!!! West Putney, Barnes... Get the best of both worlds !! I LOVE it here in Putney, I am surrounded by Commons and Heaths, and can walk to Richmond Park...
I agree with you I'd keep the little house looking the same, wouldn't change it, my perfect place to live.
I think you are doing a great job for Marylebone just doing this blog. X
I have really appreciated having a garden and being just a couple of minutes walk from a huge open heathland and forest during this time. But your bijoux flat and London life suits you so well . Maybe wait a while before moving to the country!!
It's a lovely cottage Jo. A huge undertaking though. The best scenario would be a little cottage where you don't have to do much. All the best x
Love your find but probably an expensive option. The right thing will come looking for you 💐
Live near a market town but we have lovely Charnwood Forest on the doorstep - ideal compromise. Would hate to be without a garden. Perhaps eventually going back to Brighton would be the ideal for you Jo. A buzz without the very high expense.
Aviva gives you such good advice, Jo. A good friend to have.
Love your dress Jo!
Love the house! Find out what it would cost to put right and if you can afford it then Go for it! Life is too short!
It Would be so fun to watch you make this place over!!!! Ooh joy
I love it! It’s you!
Love the little house 🥰. I moved to the suburbs with actual fields around me and it took a good while to get used to the quiet. It freaked the hell out of me. I did get use to it. Also your hair this length looks beautiful, really suits you. Xx
Another great video Jo 🌹 absolutely love your 👗 dress 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
