you had 15 what?
You don't need to worry, you are neutral, but even you must admit that people outside the stadium thraeted you as a brother, that is Serbian mentality 😉
Lol

you can be Messi or Ronaldo, you can win a lot of trophies, but you're not a complete player if you didn't play in a derby like this, in this atmosphere. RESPECT from Bucharest.
Andrei-Marius Caravan messi must’ve experienced this in Argentina
@@claretandbluearmy8014 He left Newell's early (13 years). He told TyC Sports that he'd fear playing an Argentine derby due to the insane pressure/passion from the fans.

@Andrei-Marius Caravan the respect is mutual, romanian brother
Players don't care for derbies that much, unless they're from that town (watch the Roma derby on here, the even admitted what we all know, totti gets fired up, but missy either players it's just like the other match), that's why often people talk about the foreigners, & tbe few that do get into it really capture the fans hearts, think of henry for arsenal! There are some occasions where players hate each other, but it's not often
sorry for you if you don't know liverpool vs manchester united in early 2000s
this is one of the best derby in europe ..what an a atmosphere .passion. respect from romania

Pametnom jednom dosta
I am a Celtic supporter and we have one of the most intense rivalries with the manky mob but a few years back I had the absolute pleasure of attending a Belgrade derby, I am 54yrs old and i have been to many Celtic/Rangers games but the Belgrade derby is on another level. Should be on every true football supporters bucket list.
How hard is it to get a ticket to these games?
@@toldyabro2786 Celtic v Rangers is impossible to get a ticket but if you have deep pockets the ticket companies if they have any will source you a ticket starting price for the game £650. So much for the peoples game greed rules.
@@JI7NKJ wow, no way I could afford that pal.
@@JI7NKJ How about this Belgrade derby though?
@@toldyabro2786 Yes its way beyond the reach of the average guy, know a guy who paid £1600 for two tickets for the Real Madrid game, really is getting beyond a joke.
I have been in Belgrade a few times by now and it was incredible. The city is breathtaking and especially Partizan and Red Star matches are extraordinary. Great city, unbelievable fans, beautiful country.
Respect for our friends from Serbia!
Greetings from Greece!
🇬🇷☦️🇷🇸🤍🖤
Copa 90, thanks for making this film. It makes a pleasant change to watch a film report on the real Serbia. I have friends in Belgrade and I can confirm that what makes Serbia so special is its people.
I'm from Norwich, in England. I love Serbia; my friends live in Beograd but I love the countryside, especially sumadija.
It's a small world!
Geoff. I'm from Hull. Don't tell me you are from here as well??
No Chris, I live in Norwich but I'm originally from Ipswich (something I keep quiet about in Norwich).
no surprise copa 90 got to put the camera's on the pitch and get some first class view of the action, serbs are very welcoming the fact that you even came to cover the game is very humbling to the people, clubs and players.
don't necessarily think it's because they're humbling, prob just because their laws/ rights on game coverage isn't as strict compared to other leagues in europe, i dunno just a thought
Cameron Benart I'm serbian and this doenst have to do anything with the law, the guys just wanted to film intense action from "ethernal derby" and we let them. Why not? They showed us just like we are. We love football and we give unconditional support to our players.
@@eddy562speaking as a Serb born and raised in South Africa, having lived in multiple countries around Europe too, I can tell you it was most likely a favour done to Copa90 in the spirit of the comment above. Serbs are people of principle and gesture, and will always be happy to do this kind of thing simply because as someone else said, why not?
Rules and laws are made by humans, they can be bent by them in exceptional times, they are not guarded by supernatural powers. Serbs for better and for worst bend laws and rules all the time, sometimes for good reasons sometimes for bad. In this instance, I’m very sure it was a gesture of goodwill because Serbs are extremely grateful when they get recognition from the outside world.
And that’s why when you visit you will be treated like an imperial guest of honour simply for being a foreigner who has shown interest in the people and country and if you go a bit out of your comfort zone to truly interact and engage with us.
@@milansokolovski3033 No defence but where you lived has literally nothing to do with anything nor does it give you some type of better insight into this 😂 as I said 9 nears ago using logical presumption, I can now tell you for a fact having worked in tv production for two years ago. It has absolutely got to do with laws & what can be rebroadcasted & not a demographic of people just being “friendly” as great as that sounds. I’m sure Serbs are great people but if their league was as profitable as the premier league then I promise you that kind “gesture” would not be a thing & filming & posting of game football would be as scrutinised as other popular leagues. Laws are indeed created by humans but they are also enforced by them & when they’re laws which protects a leagues ability to generate millions there is no exemptions. Still highly confident it wasn’t a matter of it being a favour but simply tv right laws in Serbia are not as airtight allowing copa 90 to post footage.
&by the way I’ve been Serbia & i was treated very far from an imperial guest lol however I admire your admiration for the country although it’s clearly a lil bias
@@eddy562*no “offence”. But that’s besides the point. 1) Living in different countries gives you cultural perspective (something I’m not sure you have gained too much based on this response). While there are laws against numerous things in the country they are broken on a daily basis, even when it’s very costly because human relations tend to be valued just slightly above capital (funny that being a post-socialist society).
2) In all your rationality, you didn’t stop to think that it could have also been a pretty rational decision given the exposure the little known Serbian league would get with this kind of promo and coverage? Given that Serbs are a people given to big gestures (I think my 10 years living there and being of serbian decent beats your one trip), that we are very proud people, and that this would give great exposure to the league and derby, I’m going to stick with what I said above. I have seen that impulse to gesture a million times in different situations with people of all social-economic backgrounds and heard the same from countless travellers (I’m sorry if you had an unusual experience). And it’s not just something that happens in mundane contexts, this kind of behaviour happens in all cleavages of society, so much so that Belgrade is referred to as just a massive village by its inhabitants. So maybe you should go read a bit about Serbian culture before you post here acting like you know anything based on one trip lol not trying to insult you in any way here btw, but it’s a bit annoying that you’re trying to explain my own culture to me when I’ve seen it from the inside and out.
The atmosphere in Eastern Europe is 1000 times better than anywhere in England. You can tell the fans love the club and sing there hearts out, losing or winning. (I'm English btw)

Marek Lipták I saw it from west sector, nice fight :)
Rest of Europe really needs to learn from this. I remember when Red Star come to London to play us, they were louder than our own Tottenham fans. Even after being 3-0 down, they were chanting and singing. I really wish the North London Derby was as loud as them

Every football fan should see this derby at least once in their life, if not then you havent seen it all. This derby is the most intence, the most passionate thing in the world of football and as partizan fan I am proud to be a part of it. Support that our players have is unconditional. we lost 1-0 in the first part of the season but at the end of the game we sang with our players just the way we did after this game. And dont let me start about basketball......
Wow, great episode. I love how you shine a positive light on that fixture instead of what the media usually portrays, that game montage was wonderful, you could really feel the atmosphere, the passion and the tension. that's more insane than El Clasico
El Clasico is nice just because there are two giant teams playing, the atmosphere is shit. They're just standing on their seats like they're at a movie, not a derby
The atmosphere at the clasico might not be much, but the quality on the pitch from both teams is mad, especially when ronaldo and messi were really going at it, it’s as if the world stopped on the day of el clasico.
Every derby is insane. I am from Albania and when the 2 biggest clubs of Tirana(the capital of Albania) which are Partizan(that represents the communist partizans) and Tirana(which represents the police and law force of Albania) match up it becomes a madness and the Partizan are the ones that are more brutal. When these teams match up the special forces come to the stadium just in case.
