I'm speechless, Nath! I was already blown away with your shooting and the accuracy of the FX, then there was the running shot...Awesome video. Well done and many thanks.
I always thought a 100 yard shot for a 22 was really stretching it , and here you go making 100 meter shots with a 22 air rifle. I am impressed. Makes me think I can't hit the broad side of a barn from inside the barn.
@@colstace2560 Well I have an opinion. It's because of the complexity and the quality of production. Now are they higher priced than they could be? Probably. But I was on a waiting list for my Maverick sniper for 6 months so selling em is not really an issue for the manufacturer so there's no motivation for them to drop the price. FX is literally the top of the food chain in this market although Scout is really making a name for themselves but it's significantly more expensive! 😲 But my Maverick, I can change calibers, twist rates, and chamber pressures. You can tune it to do whatever you want. I think that's an apparent part of the cost. But it's STUPID accurate! I live in Florida so scuba shops everywhere. It costs $6 to fill my scuba tank and that fills my gun 5 to 6 times and I get about 100 shots per fill. So that's about 1 cent of air per trigger pull. As always Nathan, another excellent video. I had permission on a golf course many moons ago, one of my daughter's partners also had permission. The first time he was there the old bill turned up, arrested him and carted him off to the cells. He'd left his permission letter at home but was released a couple of hours later. @@EDGEoftheOUTBACK Yes it was a terrible time, I remember the first time he turned up at our house to court my daughter, he was 18 at the time and they were together from that time up to his death, my daughter was broken, it hit the whole family hard.
Just such great shooting. Defies the perceived ability of an air rifle over such a variety and long ranges. So deadly as well. Hard not to be jealous of every aspect of your adventures. Thanks as always for taking us along.
Some of those rabbits are great acrobats. I like seeing the trajectory of the projectile; it gives a good example of the fall of a projectile over the course of travel. A great video as always. I live in Texas, and it's always a surprise to see a Kangaroo on a golf course (not in Texas, of course).
Some excellent shooting, mate! I remember as a young boy going spotlighting with my Dad and Uncles. Lucky to bag even a few now, which I suppose is a good thing! Wish I had an air rifle like the FX when I was younger - I made do with an old Gecado .177 and managed to get a few wild cats and plenty of pigeons, but never managed a kill with rabbits. Love to watch your shooting skill - keep up the good work!
