You did a good job Jimmy.... IT should work great for vertical jigging for walleye with 1/8 jigs and 6lb braid and 18 INCHES OF 6lb-4LB fluorocarbon LEADER. i ORDERED ONE JUST TO SEE IT WORK.

Great video 👍. if this reel is really overbraked and with no possibility to change or remove some magnets maybe we could consider to replace the brake mechanism springs with stiffer ones…

Thanks! definitely over braked. I think perhaps they can just swap out to weaker magnets going forward. There are definitely many ways to do it. This might be the best solution without having to revamp the braking system in anyway shape or form.

How much leader do you use and does the leader to mainline knot slow down the cast?
