14 people have no idea what real music is.... Being from Denver this song touched me when my wife from Alabama called me and told me she wanted me to listen to this. On the edge of a divorce from a rocky military marriage the last few years. This song touched me and made me rethink everything, it was so on point with everything we were going through! Miracles truly do happen. My daughter Alexis is due in June. This one goes out to Jesus Christ and Zac thanks man this changed my life.
You realize he's just a dude. right? This has aged so poorly considering Zac's "issues". You people need to get your act together and stop putting these people on a pedestal. He is as f'd up as the rest of us.
His passion really shows in this unplugged version. He hammers that guitar 🎸 and wails to the point you know this song means something to him. Zac and his band were one of very few who came to Mosul to entertain the troops. Many scheduled, but canceled when they found out how much incoming we took daily. They canceled or just didn't show up. Not Zac...
Amber Gearhart Yeah, I found this song going through a break up so I connected with it immediately. More so than any other country song I have listened to in my life!
I know exactly what this song is about. I'm from back in FL, and I left Reno to come back home. I was gone for six years. I met an amazing girl, but we just couldn't be together, but our love never faded. My last night in Reno, we spent time together, and I left Sunday morning. It hurt to leave. I still love her, but I had to go back home. I left her there. I've always been away and about and around. I never stay in one place. That's the meaning of the song. Being a rambling man, you never...
The studio version of this song is fantastic but this version is awesome! Sadly enough only a few people in Germany know this guy. It's really a shame.
Your a lover im a runner, and we go round nd round... Kuzz im a ramblin man. I aint ever gonna change. Gotta gypsies soul to blame and I was born for leavin.. Good fucking lyrics.
Same here man, I went to a concert of his because a friend talked me into going. Not a country fan. When I left I was converted and now I have all his albums. I still dont like all country music, but more open to it.
@@Jarl_Thidrandi Metalhead here too. There is a modern movement of good country music. Dark country, outlaw country, etc. Even guys following the Texas singer/songwriter tradition like Zac Brown. It's a lot easier to appreciate country when you find out there is more to it, than formulaic Nashpop that all sounds the same and features every trope they can think of.
Always remember that there are three people in a marriage. Its you your spouse and the Lord. God wants you to be where you are.He wants you to be with who you are with. He wants you to be doing what your doing. Your both doing His will. He also speaks to us through the people places and things we come into contact with. Zac is the unwitting messenger in this case. Yours is a beautiful story. Thanks to the Big Guy Upstairs and Zac Brown. May you both be each others way to Paradise. Amen
ZBB.....PLEASE, NEVER stop doing what you do....you guys have a GOD-GIVEN talent...You are REAL COUNTRY....No fake about you. You love what you do and it shows! You're the most down to earth vocal group that I have seen, in my life. I say this from the bottom of my heart...I love you guys....you make life so much easier, just by HEARING your voices along with your music....and YOU GUYS MAKE GEORGIA PROUD!!!
I think the 99 people who disliked this were in such awe that their hand twitched when they went to click on the like buton. This song defines music as an art form, absolutely incredible. Zac Brown is my hero.
I never knew my grandfather, he died when I was a baby. The first time this played on the radio my mom made the comment that my grandpa was a rambling man. I feel that this song can give me some way of knowing my grandpa without ever meeting him. I love this song and I hope that somehow I can know him better in the future.
I know this sounds crazy but this song reminds me of my father. He lives in Colorado and I dont get to see him as much as I would like because I live in Alabama. I miss him so much and each time I hear this song it reminds me of him. Both me and him have moved alot over the year when I was young because he was in the Air Force but I'm thankful for that. I love you daddie!!
Fantastic! Being a huge James Taylor fan I can see that Zac Brown surely has that same aura you find in a great performer like James Taylor. Hoping for many, many years of listening to both!
I love the guy who wrote this song! :3 He's one of my best friends! lol I seriously tackled him when he told me in class today, and I looked it up just now. And to be honest when I was reading the lyrics in November, I could hear it in my head and started singing, so when I heard it I almost started crying because it sounds exactly like how I heard it!!! lol
Leaving behind a girl in a month to go to Alabama as we're just now falling for each other, it sucks but this is really a great song to reflect on the good times that I'm leaving behind. Touching
Wow I can relate to this right now. The guy I have feelings for lives a couples hours away but we are in a very winter state so it's hard for him to get down to see me sometimes. I must say as he leaves I've often wondered why I am not enough to make him stay... this song hit really close to home for me as I watched him leave this morning and I wonder if he will ever see that I'm waiting for him if he wants me. Great song Zach Brown!
zbb quote "one's special to all of us. It holds a spot because of what we do and being away and all those things. For those guys, I think that song rings on missing their family. That's the beauty of art: everybody has their own take on what the song can mean. As for me, it's a story of impossible love where geography or timing gets in the way of it, and it's just not possible".
this song is so beautiful. i love zac brown band. there hasn't been a song they've performed that i haven't loved. this is what music is all about. zac brown isn't bad to look at either.
the amazing part about this is that everyone has a different take on it..the beauty of music is that great songs like this have a new meaning or significance to each person
All these years later and those lyrics “I can’t wait till then” still play in my mind on repeat. The delivery of that line encapsulates longing to my core.
i saw these guys at the county fair . when they just had got big... i got blowen away and bought there cd the next day..in a world full of taylor swift it does my heart good to see musicians out
sitting down after a rough day, nothing seems to be going right for me lately. wishing hoping and praying to God that things will get to a point where at im at least content. This song brings me to tears.
Whew YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! Well it's a winding road, When your in the lost and found, You're a lover I'm a runner, And we go 'round 'n 'round, And I love you but I leave you, I don't want you but I need you, You know it's you that calls me back here baby,
I am a total metalhead. But first and foremost Iam a musician.I give props where they are due. Zac is a great singer songwriter and performer. This is a beautiful song. Well played Zac.
I normally don't listen to country, but a buddy of mine from the 101st turned me on to this tune. Man was the best 240 gunner in the Army. Anyway, he's also the most knowledgeable person regarding real music that I know. Sorry for the long preamble, this is a great, great song. Imagine the ability to write the music, and more importantly the lyrics, then finally to be able to replicate it live basically naked on stage. That takes equal parts tremendous talent and courage. I don't want you, but I need you. That kind of sums it up.
It's like he was watching my life. Through my divorce and the hour and a half every other Friday I'm driving to get my two beautiful kids who I love more than anything thanks Zac Brown u the man
I heard Zac Brown Band album 'You get what you give' being previewed on the Bob Harris radio program on the BBC. This song was played so I went and bought the album. I never tire of listening to the music. It would be interesting to see how well Zac Brown would do here in the UK. I think very, very well. Come to the UK Zac, show us how its really done - please.
Man this song really gets to me. Zack Brown is such a wonderful and powerful talent and one of the very best things to happen to music in awhile. I miss music, being about the song and I miss the art of good story telling and he's brought both back strong. He has the "real" factor going on as an artist and man these days, that's so refreshing. I'm most definately going to keep my eyes on this Mr. Zack Brown. Peace.
He is soooo foxy. And his music is COUNTRY, not soft rock that can pass for country if they add a steel guitar. Everything about him is so real. I love that. He doesnt sugar coat anything, He's just him. I cant wait to see them on Thursday!! :)
Gave me chills.. this song and this band is amazing. This band just got me into country music the other day, and man. There is something in country music that isn't in anything else.. some type of emotion that you can just feel through his singing. 2:05 - 3:13 is so powerful.
i have no clue how i came across this song but i am so happy i did:) i love how i can feel the emotion when he sings this song, and how i can relate to it so well:) its my fav song in the world!!!:)
After many summers at a ranch in Colorado, this is a song that my girlfriend and I adore. It is so beautiful and hits home hard for both of us. We dance often to this song, and love it. Thanks Zac and your band for music that means so much to us. See you in Grand Junction this June.
this is it!! =) this is why America is the best country. because of music like this , this is what you listen to when you sit out on the porch on a summer night and think about life.

Zac Brown Band,I hope you know how your music helps and inspires everyone who hears it,I'm from N.Ireland and your music has helped me settle here the past year
Just an amazing song. Zac Brown has a way of connecting with me through all his music in so many ways that I just can't explain the feeling. Incredible how he has been able to reach "Kenny Chesney status" in my book in just a couple of years. Watching the two of them together live in Tampa a few weekends ago was the most incredible experience I have ever had. Just a real special dude!
ZBB IS AMAZING, I SAW HIM A COUPLE YEARS AGO AT A BIG AND RICH CONCERT. THEY ARE TRUE TO THEMSELVES, WHATEVER THEY WANNA PLAY THEY PLAY. I SAW ZB RAP BATTLE WITH COWBOY TROY IT WAS AWESOME.
I'm moving away from my family in 2 months in hopes of making a better life for myself. The lyrics to this song really hit me hard. It's so beautiful and relevant to my situation.
@JaseSemperFi some guy i was seeing is in the military over there. and hes deploying to Afghanistan...and this song makes me sad, cause i wanted to move out there to be with him and im across the country... iM glad you and your wife are workin things out. Jesus is amazing!. God bless!
I was driving towards the train station to go to London for a weekend away with the guys. I left my girl friend behind, as i was driving my iPod shuffled to this... I turned around and spent the weekend with her!

Damn that’s awesome
The best songs make connections and that’s music

+Brokensilence47954, agreed, nothing else comes close
Absolutely best lyrics in any country song hands down
I literally said all these words to my fiancé just now lol
Amber Gearhart Yeah, I found this song going through a break up so I connected with it immediately. More so than any other country song I have listened to in my life!

Every time he singss the line "I'm with your ghooooost again" i have to battle tears, beautiful song Zac, beautiful song
133 people are entitled to their opinion, but it's a shame their opinion is wrong. This man is a true musician and has voice like silk.
You can tell when someone is singing from their heart....and if you don't know how to tell, then listen to this song again. That is amazing.

There is a difference between a person who can play music and a musician. Mr. Brown you are a true musician. Keep writing amazing songs.
The feeling behind his voice and his guitar strums...you know he feels it everytime he plays it. That's why ZBB will always be amazing.
the amount of emotion he puts into it. You cant help but feel it
This dude makes me like country music.... I never thought that could be possible
Same here man, I went to a concert of his because a friend talked me into going. Not a country fan. When I left I was converted and now I have all his albums. I still dont like all country music, but more open to it.
I know its an old comment, but these guys helped get me into country back around 08. Lifelong death/thrash metaller here.
Zach brown band is the greatest thing to happen to modern country

This song always makes me miss Colorado
This is as raw as country music can get! Great song, and a outstanding artist. One of my favorite songs from Zak Brown!
Indeed!

My HS sweetheart told me to download this song. I'm crying, but in a good way. I was clueless he felt that way until yesterday. 3

I still love this song
I appreciate this being here, wish you've left the into in the video
you got a gypsy soul and you were born for leaving ~ ugh take that to heart ladies!
Such an amazing band that seems to just keep getting better with each song. Not many groups like this still exist in music.

The new "Please Come to Boston"... I love it. Well done.
Not that "please Come to Boston" is old :)
Seriously?? How can you be so f'n good??? Best version of this song I've heard.
ZBB IS AMAZING, I SAW HIM A COUPLE YEARS AGO AT A BIG AND RICH CONCERT. THEY ARE TRUE TO THEMSELVES, WHATEVER THEY WANNA PLAY THEY PLAY. I SAW ZB RAP BATTLE WITH COWBOY TROY IT WAS AWESOME.

Best country band there is…well the only true one left, actually. Love them :)
