The Perfect Carp Set Up - (Well Almost)?!

I'm in Australia, and the amount of gear you guys use is crazy. It must cost an absolute fortune.
Here, a hook, sink, and sinker is about as complicated as it gets.

Isit really necessary to have all these different rods? I understand have a 12ft and maybe a 9ft rod. But to have spot rod stalking rod etc ???

Great too see you back matt 👍. Got the indulgence s5 well comfy did cost like 590 so not even used it kn the bank yet not been out fishing for a while 😢. Stupid people like to run people over and drive off. Left me with a messed up left arm I'd like to be able to get out though not even renewed my fishing licence. Now all you need to do is use that gear them camera's and get some fishing. Don't matter if you blank man it's the reality of fishing. Ignore the trolls that called you matt blanks. 😅😂

Hi Matt, good to see you back as it's been a while.
Are you still fishing the Serp as i know you were keen to do a campain on there?
That tripod that you are using (or any tripod) will have a hook at the bottom of the center pole which is for hanging anything heavy off, this will keep your tripod really steady and stop it from tipping over.
What you did not talk about is probably the most important bit off kit is what Sausage's you use for your famous Sausage Butties.
I hope you break that blank soon and put the net under a few slabs.
