Based on my experience, drivers of non-airconditioned buses are generally speed freak, daredevil ones or loko-loko drivers while drivers of airconditioned buses are cool, smooth drivers or sane drivers. I can only surmise that the cold temperature inside an airconditioned bus makes the driver cool-headed while the warm temperature inside a non-airconditioned makes the driver uneasy, uncomfortable, thus loko-loko.
Besides what you said , non a/c buses stop at too many places which means they need to cover the distance much faster even at the expense of safety of lives.

My mate drives like that bus driver,I swear he thinks he's Jeremy Clarkson or something like this when he's behind the wheel lol. Imagine racing against a lorry with a back load of gas cannisters that would never happen here in UK but clearly Philipino bus drivers have zero fear whatsoever lol. Good video once again Ali,I look forward to the next one.
@@sherinick7523 well at least can get to where you need to be quicker this way, in Central London they make us pay congestion to sit in traffic lol.Traffic in London is dreadful at times so if everyone would be more like Philipino drivers we would get to where we need to be quicker lol. Mini-buses from small/medium operators are crazier. Ceres bus drivers are okay but not all. Lastly, Julie's Bakeshop originated in Cebu and could be 1 of the most popular in the country.

The 3 of you are having so much fun riding the buses, tricycles, & jeepneys. The Moalboal folks must have been sad to see you go. Ali, I was laughing when you ordered the chicken stick and you said, “to go.” Then, the lady said, “I’ll put the chicken here (in the container) and I’ll “labay” (meaning “throw”) the stick. You were puzzled and didn’t understand the word “labay”, so she demonstrated that she’ll throw the stick in the garbage. The next customer was laughing at her mixed English. She did try her best, though. I speak the same language that’s why I was tickled. The language in Cebu is called “Cebuano.” It’s very different from Tagalog which is the language in Manila. U should be back in Cebu City by Jan.2023 u dont wanna miss that festival..it will be fun and exciting bro...also the festival in Iloilo and Kalibo,Aklan all in the month of Jan.👍
I guess the "craziness" you experienced in that bus is contributed more by your seating location at the back. Usually, the last 3-4 back rows will give you more bouncy/springy experience compared to the other rows because the back portion absorbs all of the shocks coming from the front. On some vehicles, like the L300 vans, the owner will even put additional suspension rings at the bottom of the back portion in order to increase the shock absorption. Of course, add to that how fast the drive is. But usually, the company of that yellow bus you took monitors their drivers so that they don't overspeed above their set standard. Or maybe the driver is trying to catch up the return schedule of the bus so he can go home and rest early in preparation for the following day of work. 🤷🏽♂️

busses here in the Philippines were crazy as hell before, till the government ruled them to have a maximum speed of 80km/hr because of so many accidents they involved to by rushing too much, they were like racing on a busy road or even narrow road, competing for the passenger/time travel
Agree. Even in Manila, the expressways have speed limit but some drivers are crazy. Before the EDSA (Manila) busway, buses just pick and stop anywhere in the road. Since two years ago, the govt put a special lane at the inner road beside the MRT 3. It put a stop to craziness but a few still violate for the speed limit.
Hi Ali i am one of your subscriber. I think you always love to eat he he. God bless your vlog here in the Philippines, the land of friendly people. Enjoy
Nothing crazy this is just normal but of course its your first time..they installed loud honks to ensure everyone in the road knows and that is a very distinct type of sound where you would easily notice that it is Ceres Bus when you hear it..
Ali, we have something in common. 🤣 I also check on a good bum gun 🤣🤣🤣I enjoyed your vlog as always. 👍👍👍👍👍 Try some bread from Julie's bakeshop. Hot Pandesal is really good and mongo bread.👍😋
That's one hell of a ride😂 To be honest, there are many drivers of ordinary buses are driving so fast because they are trying to beat the traffic to be able to have a chance of another route to earn more. The more passengers they have, the drivers and conductors could at least earn extra. Secondly, due to traffic conditions also, most passengers prefer fast drivers because they want to reach their destinations as fast as they could. Thirdly, the cost of fuels are too high and they want to get even at least. Of course, I do not agree with it because it is dangerous. By the way, please do not put your head/hands outside because it is prohibited and dangerous. Since you are an influencer, please be a good example to the people as disciplined. Thank you.😊

Ali do some vlog in central and north luzon. That would be something. I'm from Angeles City, a big fan.👍✌️🙏. God bless you for your warmth and wishing you all the best at what you do. Keep it up.
That's nothing, you should try a bus from Sandakan to Kota Kinabalu in Borneo, Malaysia. I am also a very fast driver myself so I was not scared, I am used to high speeds, but I never experienced something like that in my life. Road is concrete but is covered with hugh potholes, speeds are up to 100 km/h (60 mph), so when a bus wheel hits a hole like that, it literally becomes airborne. I could hear the rear axle bumping up and down, I thought we will lose it, lol... what a ride!
Wow l like Philippines. Beautiful country.

The Ceres airconditioned bus you took going to Moalboal is a lot better compared to this Ceres open air bus.

Your vlog never fails to make me laugh. I love your vlogs in the Philippines. Go Ali Go! 🤗
Nothing crazy this is just normal but of course its your first time..they installed loud honks to ensure everyone in the road knows and that is a very distinct type of sound where you would easily notice that it is Ceres Bus when you hear it..
Have you had chicken adobo yet? I heard it’s one of the yummiest Phillipino food and of course lumpia?

That's one hell of a ride😂
To be honest, there are many drivers of ordinary buses are driving so fast because they are trying to beat the traffic to be able to have a chance of another route to earn more.
Thank you.😊

15:36 rotonda of carcar. Carcar has the best lechon also and chicharon.
please visit guimaras island you will find the best mango there and lots of beautiful beaches
The place at 15:27 with a roundabout (rotunda) is Carcar City. Many years ago, I lived there for almost a year during weekdays for work and travelled back to Cebu City on weekends. Thanks for sharing even just a glimpse of this beautiful memory.
The corner, where Jollibee is at now, used to be a carinderia where we had our breakfast before heading to work.
Hi Ali! always looking forward to your vlogs. Explore more tourist destinations in the Philippines.
I am with you from Sri Lanka... Great work. Your strategy is really good.. Good luck for the 100k
