As someone who works at B&N I can tell you, what probably happened to your volumes was a worker saw them and thought they were volumes someone left so they took it and put it in a pile to be reshelved at the end of the day.
I know the Umineko looks intimidating to read but honestly it is one of the best stories ever written but since the manga is pretty much unavailable and the visual novel is not a medium many like, it’ll sadly be dismissed by the majority of people. Hopefully yen press reprints it! I highly recommend the Higurashi manga (which just got a reprint miraculously). You should check it out
dunno if you want recs, idk if you're reading witch hat atelier, but i'm obsessed with it. was not what i was expecting at all and its only getting better/ unfolding more with each volume. i know you like darker /actiony stuff, but the story does such a good job of weaving lighthearted moments with some really loaded moments.
As a big fan of girl from the otherside, i had no idea how nice those collected editions were. I already have the singles, but i think ill get it anyway. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Damn your Barnes and noble is stacked! Mine has like two shelves lmao. You should check out battle angel alita it’s really good and has some awesome oversized hardcovers. Gantz is good as well it’s just too bad it didn’t get the deluxe treatment
Nice haul! I haven't bought manga in awhile, not cuz of space or money, cuz I legit have everything lol, despite afew missing copies in afew series. Parents made me go to romania for vacation, theres legit a place that sells manga every block. Some are meh, yet some are goldmines. I finished series I've been looking for for a year!
I got a little Manga collection going just had a birthday and hopefully i'm going to get some more manga :O) I'm giving Attack on Titan Omnibus a try they are really good and I liking them.

Nagatoro is really good. If you can make through first few chapters because that can turn people away from it same with the anime from the first episode. But it’s a good rom com series.

I pronounce Aposimz like the animal Opossums. I'm sure I'm completely wrong, but that's how my brain sees it. I love Nihei (Blame is a masterpiece and I loved the Knights of Sidonia anime) so I picked up the series figuring I'd love it as I did his other stuff. Just haven't gotten a chance to read it yet. If anyone reads this that HAS read it, please let me know what you think if it lives up to his other past works.

Oh dammit, they make big colossal editions of Fairy Tail? Is that what that is there? Great, I’ve just bought that entire series, over 60 volumes, if I had known they made those I would have bought them. I did the exact same thing with Attack on Titan, I had already bought 12 volumes before I found out about the colossal editions, but at least I found out then and I was able to buy those editions.
