It baffles me that Yona of the Dawn doesn't have a box set at this point. 😖 I'd buy it in a heartbeat if that were the case. Also, Call of the Night sounds interesting... might have to give it a shot. Great haul! 😊

My main find/buy for JULY was ABSOLUTE Court of Owls BNIB ,for 150 Canadian and 26.89$ shipping. Next month I have two things preordered, FABLES Compendium 1 - 4 Boxset from Organic Priced Books,and Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service Omnibus's Volumes 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 and 5. The omnis are 3 in 1'sDark Horse has committed to Reprinting all of it ,Volumes 1 to 23!! Volume 5 Omni is up for preorder now ! Volumes 1,2,3, and 4 will be up for sale in about 1 to 2 weeks,just a heads up! So we should expect a 6th and 7th Omnibus to finish it off. Like our great host I picked up BERSERK Volume 11.
I got uzumaki, all death note black editions, my hero academia vigilantes 6 8-12, jujutsu kaisen 1, kaiju no8 2, hykuu 1 and then steins gate 1 and omnibus 2 cause my mum bought me it thinking it was 1 and 2 this month
I really envy you this kind of stores😓 I am from Prague, so I am really not living somewhere under the stone and still the biggest manga sections we have in book stores are the size of the one max two tables you have seen when entering Barnes and Noble :/

(and if im thinking right and it was ch 221 of tokyo revengers, i know the exact moment you’re talking about 🥲🥲) if you’re at all interested in series similar to yona, basara and requiem of the rose king are action shoujo that might pique your interest. if you’re looking for classics, banana fish, revolutionary girl utena, and rose of versailles are all great too-that last one is one of the shoujo series berserk took inspiration from. all of them are available online iirc, so they might be worth looking out for while waiting on reprints. hope you check them out if any seem interesting!
I got too much manga to even list it all this month, probably my biggest month of the year, well over €1,000 spent, over 40 volumes of One Piece, 20 volumes of the regular tankōbons of Berserk, up to vol 34 now, plus the 11th deluxe, 17 volumes of One Punch man, 20 volumes of Fairy Tail, 7 volumes of Made in Abyss, then loads of other series, so much stuff.
For me Tokyo Revengers started the free fall after the second arc ,cause it felt like it started repeating itself and abandoning characters.The latest arc ,which is probably the point you were referring to was when it went SO bad

Have you heard the whole controversy on Blue Period? I'm not a HUGE fan of the series in general the art really throws me off but I'm an artist myself so I have 1-5 atm, but I heard some stuff about the arthur on tiktok 😬 but to me it's whatever. But what r ur thoughts?
