4:14 OMG i can't even with Kodansha! The size difference on some of the volumes is hilariously wrong, pisses me off given that it is one of my favorite series. I'm Curious if you watched the Anime? I have and I loved it! The Anime goes to volume 11 i believe so you can get a little more content then what's currently printed. Anyways love your videos, have a good one
Yea JoJo’s was a pain to collect, the only 2 series that I really hated trying to put together was One Piece & JoJo’s, I actually got both of the same volumes you did this month, 6 & 7. The only things I dislike about JoJo’s is the horrendously slow release schedule, 1 volume every 4 months is ridiculous, I want to read Steel Ball Run but it’s going to be years before it’s out, they should release an entire storyline each year, like all Golden Wind. It’s been 8 years since the first volume of Phantom Blood was released. These are series that’s been finished for decades. And the other thing is how they completely changed the design of the spines after Stardust Crusaders, the spines completely change for Diamond Is Unbreakable & Golden Wind.
Choujin X... So far I have to say I enjoyed the first volume very much and thought it was more similar to something like Ajin. I definitely will be keeping up to date with it AH ALSO im not sure if you've heard of it yet but I think you'd like Coffee Moon. It has two volumes out right now, it gives very mysterious kinda vibes and seems like something up your genre
there's a new series out, only 2 volumes so far called manevolent spirits: monogatari i picked up the first one on a whim, honestly loved it, picked up the second this month and more is getting revieled and im lovin it. kinda reminds me of like JJK or like soul eater?? with the spirits and personified artifacts but obviously has it's own twist on it and doens't really take place in school and the art style is really cool! probably don't need more recs but no ones talkin about it and i think you might enjoy it!
My most recent acquisition was World End Solte. I read the first chapter in a Barnes and Noble was really weirded out about it but I read some more online was just became completely engrossed in the story and the “mystery” of it by which I mean there is clearly something the author is trying to do to fool the reader and I’m going to figure out what it is.
I’ve read up to everything that’s been physically released for Fire Force & I’m telling ya, it is a totally different series near the halfway/ending of the series. But in a good way. It’s definitely one of the most underrated Shonens out there
Lots of good buys! It's been a light couple months for me, so the last volume I bought that wasn't a collection continuation was probably Mermaid Scales & the Town of Sand. I do still need to pick up In the Clear Moonlit Dusk
Recently purchased (and awaiting arrival next week) the following: Jojo's Part 5 Volumes 1-4; Dandadan Volumes 1 & 2; Tomie (Complete Deluxe Edition); Uzomaki; Record of Ragnarok Vol.6; and Tokyo Revengers Vol 1-2 and 3-4
Dandadan chapters 16 & 17 (in vol 3) surprised me with their emotional depth. Didn't expect it, or my tears, but loved it. The writing is increasingly much deeper than the series's first several chapters lead you to believe. And the art is phenomenal. Really, it all clicks. And Part 2 of Chainsaw Man... after the ending events of Part 1, it was initially hard to settle in to the next part. Honestly, thought it was time to stop reading because the turn of events led my heart and my mind to not syncing. Felt like just woke up from a nap that left me in a brain fog. But, something made me keep a steady reading course, and then it hit me. It's a slow burn exploration of several things like depression and isolation and anxiety as well as reality not meeting expectation and expectation not anticipating reality; and with all that and even more being told in this new part, just couldn't deny that it's still a good read, but different. It's also one hell of a bold choice for a mangaka to make for a popular af manga, because it's jarring. I'm extremely curious how the English-speaking fandom will react when volume 12 hits stores. But, generally glad I powered over that initial resistance to where the mangaka is taking the story, as there are still great action scenes, new enemies, and deep poignancy in the writing, so hopefully everything will pan out and come together as something truly wonderful like Part 1. Blue Lock's print quality is especially irksome. Washed out tones and inks in a black and white medium is a dealbreaker. It's like, get a print production center that doesn't run out of ink mid printing or that isn't dipping in its black and white impressions quailty. Whole sections of volume 4 look like ghosts, they're so faded.😂 But, gonna stick with it because the artwork is good otherwise and the story still hooks. Can't wait to read Boy's Abyss this 25th. Also gonna check out Momo The Blood Taker. Parasyte is one of my favorite manga of all time, so already have paperbacks from way back. I'm a stickler about not having doubles. But, man, those hardcovers do look tempting.
csm part 2 newest chapters are available to read online in english though, im pretty sure almost everyone is caught up with chainsaw man's new chapters
Great Haul! So nice to see you get into some more shoujo titles! I watched the Romantic Killer anime and it's just good for what it is, pure entertainment and fun, nothing too deep hahaha but there's nothing wrong with enjoying it :) You'd probably like The Way of the Househusband for more episodic fun manga series
I got volume's 5,6,7,8, of edenzero otw. Plus, i know have the demonslayer manga boxset ,volume 6 of kiju#8 ,volume's 2,3,4 of edenzero and volume's 1 to 10 of undead unluck in my collection and already read .
@hvlmanga @purplefrog 。 @Luffmeat picked up volume's 1,2,3,4 of danga n ronpa ,volume 11 of undead unluck and volume 1 of dan da dan .And i ordered volume 6 of let this grieving soul retire.
Here in germany we already have 7 Volumes of Boys Abyss physically released and OH BOI is it an uncomfortable but nonetheless great read! I feel you with the covers, simple but fantastic 👌🏼
ugh i love in the clear moonlit dusk, glad you're enjoying it as well!!
It's so good! I can't wait for the next volume!

OMG YESSS I ALWAYS LOVE WHENEVER YOU POST!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Do you have any land of the lustrous manga? If not you should try it, the manga is great but the anime adaption was amazing.
I havent read it yet! It's for sure on the agenda though :)
Fire punch is a must-read!! It has that Fujimoto artwork and as insane and cringe plot as Chainsaw man
Yup! I actually have read that one - its insane LOL
As someone who isn’t far behind on choujin X would recommend u keep picking them up much better than Tokyoghoul in my opinion
Silver Spoon is my favorite slice of life manga. I hope you like it!
