Hey Wooly , great video, where did you buy your wool bushcraft coat / anorak from and where do you teach or practice your bushcraft in Scotland , keep up the good work, cheers Hans.
i have the thermal anorak and pants set , brilliant kit , i'm in canada and it goes with me in the bush all winter long. got a defence 4 as well , great bag !
😳 I just checked their website. That's without question the most expensive "surplus" store I have ever seen. And I have ordered from most countries in the last 40 years. 😓 They are literally double the price of most local shops. I truly feel for you if that is your idea of a good deal. Nice product line, but very overpriced.
@@RedBranchBushcraft Yes, I seen their surplus inventory. That is what I was referring to. They are asking a premium price for all of it. Good looking stuff, but definitely more expensive than almost everywhere else. (I still enjoyed the video.👍)
ima finnish guy and i would not pay 100 extra for the m05 sleeping bag. It just looks dum to me when everything is 05. I have only clothes be m05 is just fine. Pc and belts pockets things are green.
@@RedBranchBushcraft Some think so. The fireproof footbox is on the normal SA version too. Its just modified Defense 4 for the finnish army. I got normal defence 4 because they specced the SA only as large, medium suited me better. I have issue bag too because Im opsec.
Nice! But from what I hear and see you shouldn’t be doing “Camouflage videos “ I think you need to get videos of wetsuits and scuba/ snorkeling gear to review!😂😅😂😅
Excellent. Double jacket combination! What would you wear under the outer jacket if you only had it to wear (heavy shell) jacket I’m referring to. Kind regards New Brunswick Canada 🇨🇦
I have a pair of the fingerless gloves from Varusteleka. Very good. Are you going to do a long term review on the wool jacket you got from them. Always fancied one, but as yet cannot justify the price.
Hi- I’m going to get the level 5 but I wanted to know if the short or regular, can I ask your hight and then I can compare, hope that doesn’t sound too odd - the more I see of the varusteleka gear the more I like it , there jeans are bomb proof and really comfortable - glad I found your channel and loving the content, keep it coming . 🤙
it's more like saving up for 2 years and see it being sold out meanwhile, as far as I can tell (the story of their tarp and me) but if they keep their M05 ponchos for long enough ... meh, who am I kidding 😀@@RedBranchBushcraft
What a great vid! I particularly like the second jacket you reviewed. I'll be on the hunt for one of those now. Hope Bruno enjoyed his stick 😊
Lol, Bruno always enjoys his sticks
Good to see I’m not alone with my excess happiness when opening a Varustelka packages.
Enjoy.

I don't like the weight/ performance ratio of the defence sleeping bags but with this camo I'm tempted.
I think it's an Excellent sleeping bag, and the camo is class
