living in the Kalahari in the 70's and 80's, we all had our own bedroll, a lot like this one. but with a proper mattress and sheets and blankets inside as well. basically, our entire bed from home. We took them everywhere. and slept on the ground next to the truck. and yes it was very big and difficult to roll up.
Looks Nice.!!.i like bedrolls, when i was enlisted in the Dutch 🇳🇱Army infantry 89/90 we used our canvas puptent half as a swag.lay ontop with our m80 down sleepingbag and make a envelope.....it was quite warm and comfy..
what about the width? we wideloas seldom get something that we can squeeze into... but q: what do you recommend as "ground-protection" against water and stabbing through a bivvy-bag?

Lol, sounds great
The American bedroll and original Aussie swag are not very different at all. The new stuff they got us beat to hell for sure
It depends on what you like, I'm not really into the hooped ones
Looks pretty slick! Have wanted to sew one together for a while now to try! That one looks great though!
Cool

C'mon with all your UA-cam money surely you can buy a clip on mic ???

Are you sure that”s not a ground sheet for shooting a rifle in the prone with a rifle rest at the top that can also be used as a sleeping roll? Lol
That would definitely work
Looks a bit short for someone over 6f
Lucky I’m 5.9 ….. just messing mate ❤️
I was surprised at how well it fitted my 6 ft 5 buddy, but you have to remember it's not designed for over the head

I use a foam pad , extra security especially if I'm using my thermarest etc
