The 2026 Hyundai Palisade embraces a boxier and modern aesthetic, while promising an interior that’s both more premium, power and spacious.The flagship that can satisfy anyone. The moment it appears on the road, it is so powerful that it overwhelms all eyes.
The Palisade’s redesign leans into more angular shapes, a departure from its rounder, more subdued predecessor. The new Palisade’s clean lines and increased focus on volume give it a more confident road presence. The front end stands out with large, vertically mounted LED blocks flanking an imposing, upright grille.
The intense experience begins from the moment you approach. The magnificent welcome lights that unfold in the magnificent size overwhelmingly change the time of interaction. One of the elements that makes you feel premium is how it reacts. Recently, Hyundai has been trying to graft the vertical DNA of the Palisade with this Horizont lamp. Hyundai’s designers have clearly gone for a more upscale vibe, adding aluminum-style accents around the bodywork and roof rails that flow into the D-pillars. The 21-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels are just the right size for the Palisade’s presence.
The change in space is as dramatic as the style and size. It is a premium space that combines a futuristic yet comfortable atmosphere, sophisticated finish, and luxurious feel. And you can feel a soft and warm feeling almost everywhere you touch.
The digital cockpit features dual 12.3-inch screens housed in a curved panel, now more seamlessly integrated into the dashboard. The gear selector has been relocated from the center console to the steering column, freeing up space, while ample knobs and buttons remain for climate control and other essential functions.
The pill-shaped A/C vents, round door handles, and tan-colored upholstery in the pictured example all echo the design language of Hyundai’s premium Genesis brand. Other features that enhance the premium feel include the island-style center console, stylish steering wheel, and wood inserts with ambient lighting.
According to Hyundai, the cabin can now accommodate up to nine passengers with a three-row layout, thanks to a new center console that doubles as a middle seat in the front row. The second row offers individual seats, while third-row passengers benefit from improved comfort and visibility.
The second row of the new Palisade offers all the convenience features that can be experienced in the first row. Not only is it equipped with heated, ventilated, and relaxed comfort, but it is also equipped with dynamic body care to provide a massage and make it comfortable.
Since it is an SUV, the ground clearance is quite high, and for short family members to easily get in and out, Hyundai applied a handle called the grip handle on the pillar for the first time in a Hyundai SUV. Very nice vehicle. I now think its time for Hyundai to change the logo like KIA did to fully bring it into its premium stance.
What you see is what you get as this is the updated logo. It’s flattened out and has a more satin sheen rather than chrome. I get where you are coming from though. But when you think of it, most car manufacturer emblems are much worse than this. I rather like Mercedes, Audi, and Infinity the best. GMC, Subaru, Chevrolet, and Ford being among the worst IMO.

That 2026 is gross and boxy! Who thought this would be a good design should be fired. The joke is that stupid 4 dot logo on the steering wheel, it's really Hyundai using that "code" as a way to ditch that stupid looking logo as Americans hate it. Horrible and now I'll have to look at that "block" rolling down the road, god help us!
