- This was at the post office in Niles Illinois (847-967-1989). My first encounter was with a guy name Adolpho. He started to get loud,and obnoxious. I then heard a guy (Patrick)in the back tell all his co-workers that I had a right to record,and they still didn’t wanna accept it. So after going back and forth with the personnel,4 cops showed up.

25 years later, and she still doesn't know you have the right to be there. Good thing she's not the one in charge of the post office. 😂

It is clear: these postal workers are actually escalating the tensions and significance of the situation. People need to understand that there can be NO expectation of privacy in PUBLIC; especially when a public servant. The crazy thing is, they're on camera all day every day! And their ignorance allows them to be 'ok' with that. POSTER 7!

Adolfo the PUBLIC WORKER started the problem by ignoring his customer, engaging TTA James, raising his voice, then demanding James not record and yelling at him in the lobby...and ALL of what Adolfo did he DID in front of customers...VERY UNPROFESSIONAL on every level! And the woman in RED, Miss Patterson...she went out of her way TO TRY TO MAKE James' legal, lawful, constitutionally protected activity somehow WRONG or UNFAIR...really?...it's legal, it's lawful, it's constitutional, the highest court in America has also STATED CLEARLY that James and everyone else has every RIGHT to be there and do what he is doing.

I just had to watch this audit again before the day is over…. Patterson absolutely didn’t want to admit after 25 years of service for the post office would not admit she didn’t know about poster7 rules and regulations of the post office….she danced around the subject for as long as she could trying to confuse James in a battle of diction but unfortunately suffered a fourth round knock out to unofficially claim the title of queen bee at this location…nice audit James….these people need to understand that they don’t own a damn thing up in these buildings and we the people will educate and put the ku-ku back in and on the clock
Ignorance abounds in the postal workers AND in the public. What BOTH don’t understand is that NO ONE has an expectation of privacy in public and the post office IS a public space, AND the other thing they don’t KNOW is that even they TOO have freedom of the press. Therefore your being inside the post office with a camera is no different than you being outside on the sidewalk, or at a theme park taking pictures of people and everything around you. That is EVERYONE’S RIGHT!!! LET FREEDOM RING!!! 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸

You inform the officers that they are possibly violating federal law being armed inside and they just choose to ignore the fact and continue to remain on the property possibly illegally with the firearm.. Id FOIA the memorándum of understanding or whatever agreement the PD has with the USPS and if there is none Id file charges on all officers for violating federal law

Fun Fact: The USPS is 100% self funded through retail sales & shipping fees . Zero tax dollars are allotted for them. However, they ARE still considered a government entity, officially making them public servants.
That is not a factual statement. The US government has bailed out USPS with billions of dollars. 14 billion was the last handout.
You should request a copy of the phone call to the police, and find out if that police department has jurisdiction on that federal property.
