- This was at the USPS in Melrose Park Illinois 1824 25th Ave,60160.(708-343-2150)I seen a sign about 10 feet away from the post office,and that’s what made me think I was in the city of Bellwood. But this is the address that was giving to me from one of the TTA family members,and man were the staff at this location very UNPROFESSIONAL!! MANNY the post master couldn’t offer any assistance whatsoever,and a lady name MARYETTA was being loud,obnoxious,and she gave us her middle finger..AND then what tops it all,is they called 911 twice..

If you go to a post office and they won't serve you because they are afraid of a camera call the postal headquarters in DC while you are there and complain. Also only the federal police are supposed to come in the post office armed. Non federal officers are not to come in with their arms. All those postal workers should be suspended and manny should be demoted to clerk and they should bring in a competent Postmaster.

Shout out to the woman, that obviously didnt like being on camera, but still served the customers. I know she was just doing her job, but i give her credit for not caving to all the chaos and actions of her co-worker(who prolly is a really sweet lady that wasnt trained well at all and it aided in her going off the rails).
Bunch of uneducated postal workers who don't know their own rules, and the tyrants that showed up are just as bad.
Only exception to that is if the police department has a memorandum of understanding with the post master general......which is rear...or if there is an imminent threat to life and or property

MARYETTA should be fired by the Post Office for flipping you off while on duty, so unprofessional and she refused service to everybody as well. Then Manny doesn't even understand or want to understand your rights and can't even control his staff that he is suppose to oversee. Hopefully there is a HUGE complaint and this post office will have a new and better understanding of THEIR OWN RULES POSTED IN THE BUILDING.
It's next to impossible to fire a person in their position, that's why those positions are filled with people like that.

Public workers don't get to feel threatened and uncomfortable when somebody records them in public.
We need to discourage people with these kinds of attitudes from trying to get jobs in public.

Auditors should submit Open Records Requests requesting the identities of City Officials and workers who are issued and use municipal credit cards if they are serious about uncovering widespread theft and misuse of City Halls and other public institutions.
In order to learn where purchases of goods and services were made during the last three years, submit an Open Records Request. Receipts of purchases are public records.
This will open up a can of worms throughout the nation if auditors get these financial records.
Taxpayers will discover how much money is wasted on pricey dinners, excursions, family vehicles, high-end hotels, and other illegal, non-official, and dubious spending in many city halls.
Politicians are the worst.
In more than 30 years, I had four newsroom jobs as a newspaper reporter in Texas and California. I examined these credit card expenditures. In a few instances, services were stolen and money was improperly approved. The FBI will investigate if it involves a large amount of federal money.
Replace that whole staff. They all are unprofessional and uneducated on their own policies. And for the officer, that guy is super tyrant. Glad he took the walk of shame and made it painless.

Why are individuals never prosecuted for using a 911 number for a non emergency which is a felony.
On a different note, I like the fact that this Post Office has gift cards and greeting cards for sale. The Post Offices in my area don't offer this. Back to business at had, James keep up the good and necessary work 👍

One time, a cop stopped me. Put me in his car. Took me back where a crime had occurred. And Had the people come out of the house to identify me. Thank God they said No. I was young. It’s true that the Post Office is paid by what they sell such as stamps. So, they are right but….lol…our tax dollars bail them out and keep them afloat because selling stamps cannot cover their huge expenses. So, in the end, we do pay for that public facility.

When auditing post offices, ask for the law that permits them to refuse to forward mail if they can't scan your ID into some database. I had it out with my post master. It was super sketchy.

I’d simply tell the Postmaster “you want me to follow your direction after you just admitted that I knew what I was able to do when you thought I couldn’t? Why should I believe anything you say when obviously I know the rules better than you do?”
Postal employees learn the law. Don't expect privacy when you work in public. Cameras are everywhere. We live in a different world so get with it. Post Offices and DMV's are the worst places to visit. Some of the employees are horrible. Altitudes are so nasty. Unfriendly. Terrible.

Do you need the content of the USPS PIS email that was sent to everyone in Aug 2022 telling them to leave 1A Auditors alone? I have the contents of the email sent to them. I don't have a link to the original, but just the contents word for word.
