Nearly 70 years old, I'm not sure if I can make rigorous hiking any more so I really appreciate your taking me along as you explore La Palma. I've seen a bit of the world but regrettably never considered places like La Palma. Looking forward to visiting more interesting sites virtually.
The spirals carved onto those rocks were very interesting. Spirals seemed to have symbolized, something of great importance to cultures of the ancient past.
What a beautiful video! I love the rocks and petroglyphs. The lovely goats have a perfect environment. 8:03 The soundtrack was stunning, so mystic! (You always have good music for your videos, much appreciated!). Thank you for sharing this uplifting experience!
I like these exploring videos as we get to feel like we are the ones exploring- with minimal talking just nicely chosen accompanying music and careful editing. 👍
It amazes me how he finds these neat places. I wonder what that long pipeline was about. I also love the fact that I can watch this from my living room!!
Good Morning Bear, There Is A Lot To Discover On La Palma, That Place Is Amazing, Thank You For Your Tour And I Enjoyed Every Minute Of It, Have Missed You, You Be Blessed And Happy Always Bear, Wendy
Thank you for this video it was nice to hear from you again. We are here in Los Canajos for three weeks our plan is to explore some of the places in the videos. We may start in the north though We enjoyed a lovely visit via the bus to Los Llanos and took some pictures of the volcano , it was quite a sight to see.
So nice to the sky is blue somewhere! Many years ago I read how Guanche people were surprised to see the first Europeans visit their islands. They thought they were the only people left after a major catastrophe that killed everyone else. 😻🐻😻
So nice to see you again on the beautiful Island of La Palma. I have read about the prehistoric people and the travelers from Morocco and Europe that might have travel through. Hope to see some relics one day. I really like the cabins that you featured for us. Stay safe, stay healthy Ben.
Yes... To carry water from a water mine/gallery to irrigate the banana plantations. La Palma has many water mines some going deep into the mountain ridge which divides the east and west side of the island
Absolutely fantastic to watch BB, so peaceful with the music as well. In a world that is drowning in white noice your videos are a breath of fresh air. After work I often watch your channel and enjoy every one. Blessings from Helen in Australia 🇦🇺 PS it would be cool to get a shout out from you one day 😀
During your hike, I noticed some newer wooden housing. Are these to replace the housing that people lost during the eruption? Thanks for taking us on your hike! 🐻
Those spirals you see in many places many they found dating around the same time as if they witnessed something, perhaps a Nova, does remind me of many Nova pictures I've seen
Its so nice out there seeing new cabins of wood and maybe warmer than old brick buildings to house tenants . The scenery is looking fantastic indeed as viewed on your tours and how nature is coming back after the lava. Loved the video and great to see you back more. Thank You.
I was just thinking of you today! 🤗🙏❤️ The markings on those stones remind me of a giant finger print. So many interesting places to explore in that area! Yes, you are a 🐻that we know that doesn't like caves. What was that pipe that lead along the paths? Yes, a could go traipsing around there all day! Those goats looked as interested in you as you were them!. Thanks for taking us on your hike! There's just so much to see&explore there on LaPalma. Cya 🐻🤗❤️🙏
I found a flat stone that has some carvings on it. I have no idea if it is real or not. It was here when we bought our place. They must have lived in those caves. Very interesting! Water will usually expose the rock in the mountain. We have a river near us that dries up in the summer and the bottom of the river is pure rock, in the monsoon season it has water in the river. When it is not monsoon season it is totally a dry river bottom.
Thank you for sharing and taking us along on your adventure. Absolutely beautiful views and an exciting place to explore. Mother Nature is so beautiful and holds so many secrets for us to discover.
I don't know if those circular carvings have a special meaning at La Palma. But in the series Secret of Skinwalker ranch the native Indians belive that it is markings for portals. They have found similar circles there carved in the rocks.
Very interesting! There are spirals carved into rocks at the ancient temples on Malta too that I saw. Lots of cave dwellings too. Something to do with portals connected to the summer solstice connected with fertility?
One big tunnel for such a small water pipe..... Many years ago, was there a larger amount of water flowing down hill, I wonder? Must be a natural spring above? What if the spiral carvings are related to water 💦, like water going down a plug hole?
What is the ugly pipe snaking thru the beautiful scenery and do you have fossils on the island? The glyphs are very interesting. We have glyphs in many area's of the US from indigenous people of long ago.
To carry water from a water mine/gallery to irrigate the banana plantations. La Palma has many water mines some going deep into the mountain ridge which divides the east and west side of the island
Haven't seen you fo so long. Happy New Year to you and your lovely family. Many blessings for a better year for la Palma people 💖 Bear what is The pipe for?
Water... There are water mines all over LP. Some feed into aqueducts that carry the water into reservoirs, but many use large bore pipes which takes water from the galleries within the mines to large tanks for irrigating the banana plantations.
I absolutely love the surroundings and the beautiful and very soothing nature that just feels like a whole new world I have never seen. Thank you so much for sharing this as it has its own healing power for all of us. Sending much love and take care of yourself :)
I am so amazed at the lava rock walls all over the place, even on what seem to be remote walking trails. Such a creative use of abundant natural materials. Makes one feel they have discovered an ancient lost civilization. I wonder what the rocks inside that cave were? Some of them seemed to flouress when the flashlight hit them.
Thank you for that BB very interesting. Hope you and your family are all well, good to see you. Where does that pipe run to BB, out of curiosity, it's very long. Take care, God bless you and your family and much 💖.
I think the water runs water from a natural spring to own the mountain somewhere. Apparently all water comes from natural sources (springs) right there on La Palma. Please correct me if I'm wrong, someone!🙂
So mysterious & interesting!! Thank you for this look into ancient native culture, Bear! Do you suppose the squiggly lines represent a map, or is there a definite pattern to that petroglifico? What does everyone else think? 🤔 ❤️ from Michigan USA
These same patterns are found on the stone around new grange in Ireland 🇮🇪. Which is a passage tome aligned with the winter solstice sun ☀️ . It is also 600 years old than the great pyramid in Egypt.

Spirals seemed to have symbolized, something of great importance to cultures of the ancient past.
Possibly a vortex or portal.
Always good to see you and your peaceful videos, BBear. Thank you🌿

Beautiful! The music, the scenery. You have found a great balance in this type of video, a balance between minimal talking and camerawork/music.
Thank you for this video it was nice to hear from you again. We are here in Los Canajos for three weeks our plan is to explore some of the places in the videos. Wonderful little hike. Thanks for taking us along with you. 👍
That was very pretty scenic walk.
Liked it a lot 🇺🇲
Where did the pipe lead to??? What was in the pipe? Was the tunnel created just for the pipe? So many unanswered questions. Loved it~!

Wow! That's interesting. Thanks for sharing that! 😊
People be thinking when they look at these islands on a map they're tiny.
When they are actually vast environments rich in history....
I enjoyed this, and the music Thank you!
It's nice to see you Bear. Thanks for the tour. We have many pictographs and petroglyph in Montana in the United States where I live.
These videos are my favorite. So lovely. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, that’s right.
If I were there in person I’m not sure I would have seen as much as you showed us in this video. Thank you.

It's an old train tunnel… I got the same exact thing the next town over from me
No trains here in LP. The tunnel is an entrance to a water mine of which there are many.
Good to see you my friend. God's blessings on you always. Maranatha ✝️🙏👑❤️
Interesting fascinating nice to see your videos again
So beautiful!

Good afternoon Ben.
At 3:48 it looks like someone drew a spiral in wet geopolymer
