Nearly 70 years old, I'm not sure if I can make rigorous hiking any more so I really appreciate your taking me along as you explore La Palma. I've seen a bit of the world but regrettably never considered places like La Palma. Looking forward to visiting more interesting sites virtually.

The spirals carved onto those rocks were very interesting.
Spirals seemed to have symbolized, something of great importance to cultures of the ancient past.

I found a flat stone that has some carvings on it. I have no idea if it is real or not. It was here when we bought our place. They must have lived in those caves. Very interesting! Water will usually expose the rock in the mountain. We have a river near us that dries up in the summer and the bottom of the river is pure rock, in the monsoon season it has water in the river. When it is not monsoon season it is totally a dry river bottom.

Many years ago, was there a larger amount of water flowing down hill, I wonder?

What if the spiral carvings are related to water 💦, like water going down a plug hole?
