this is my favorite song i listened to it so much that i already knew what to play when i played it. but the video helped on some small fills i didn’t know were in the song thank you
@LearnSomeDrums used to learn from "colmdowling"... great cover artist btw. asked him to put notation in his vid's but he said he drummed by ear...so do you i guess but you do trie to (and for me) give the right notation with the songs. please keep up the magnificent work you do. for me ,you are by far the best youtube drum tutorial. the most songs you tuter are a little mainstream but nonetheless perfectly explained. love your interest in old school rock like led zeppelin, black sabbath etc. please do some more 90's grunge like soundgarden, nirvana,QOTSA, and if if possible , kyuss- gardenia... again, tnx a million for all your time and effort you put in this and lots of greets and appreciation from belgium, europe ;)
I’m really glad my lessons help you! I think all drummers probably play by ear when they can, but I like trying to work out the notation too - it’s great to see what the classic drummers did! I have some 90s silverchair coming up and I’ll keep the Soundgarden and stuff in mind too!
@@LearnSomeDrums tnx for your quick response. do you know of any available software, free or for sale, that can somehow put songs into notation?(I'm not really the computer geek) Or is paying 4§ a song the quickest an easiest way to get it?
@@stevenvanlerberghe8044 I don't think we have the technology to automatically transcribe drum parts yet... I use Musescore to write mine out and there's a bit of a community there so that's worth checking out!
The crash is a 16" Sabian HHX Evolution... it's really nice to play - very buttery. The ride is a Sabian 21" HHX Groove Ride and the hats are Sabian 14" Hand Hammered Dark Hats. The kit is a vintage Ludwig Super Classic and the snare is a Yamaha Brass Nouveau 14" x 6.5" with an Evans Hydraulic head on it.
Hmm I should do a lesson on it. Xs above the staff are crashes, Xs on the top of the staff are hi hats, then in the spaces it goes 1st tom, snare drum, floor tom and kick drum and the Xs at the bottom are hi hats played with your left foot. But then you have to worry about the rhythms and that's a little more complicated...
Hey, I really like the video but I think it could be a little easier to follow if you mention what tempo you're playing each part at, or have a metranome ticking while you play them. I mean for even the slower parts and then full speed.
@@LearnSomeDrums come as you are , comfortably numb, dani california. I think these are on my level and I would like to try to learn them/( I play drums only six months)😇 thank you anyways❤ you are really good drummer
