Thanks a lot for this.lesson. I have to play this great music with my band but I really didn't find a video as a natural aproach to the music as yours.
Everyone I have checked seemed a little off of what is played, specially about the rim click pattern at the beginning and the shuffle being played on bass drum..... whatever it is, I think your video is the best that helped me play the music!!!! 💪🥁

Thanks for uploading this - does Frank play a very quick double kick to come out of those flam triplets to come in on the ‘one’ of the first beat of the shuffle ? It’s so fast I can’t tell on the recording - if it is , man that’s fast on your foot. To get around this , could you crash the snare with the crash cymbal on ‘one’ ?
