- In today's video, we head over to Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, Florida to tour the huge 20-room Mediterranean-Style mansion that is decorated for Christmas. We have always wanted to check it out and we are so glad we did. It is an amazing mansion. Hard to believe the original owner only lived in it for 6-8 weeks a year. Originally called El Retiro which means the retreat, it then became known as Pinewood Estate. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.
