@j in kingdom hearts 1, yes. In Kingdom hearts 2 I had a cheat disk that maxed all your stats and set you to 99 with all abilities. Still couldnt even get close
in KH1 it was a little hard, but on KH2 it was a joke. The Arena level of the underworld where you had to fight Tifa, Cloud, Yuffie and Squall at the same time was way harder!
I would add Dullahan from Golden Sun 2, he is a secret boss and is hard as a brick wall, one of those literal damage sponges that had double turn each round and had an attack that could kill one of your characters in one hit, and also could use the second strongest summon in the game (which pretty much left your whole party almost gone) and every round he autoheals a lot of HP (no turn needed). Unless you grind for hours to end before reaching him, you really have no chance of winning. Of course, if you beat him, you get the best summon from the game, and one class can do the one hit kill attack by briefly sumoning Dullahan.
Anyone else stick around after the list just to hear Jules' calm voice convincing you to seek help if you need it. The best part is that it sounds like he genuinely cares.

@@loganrichardson966 I took a lot of time away to not look at that fight. I played other games ground in other games Then, I fought her and got curb stomped repeatedly.
In the DLC for Horizon: Zero Dawn there was a completely optional quest. It seemed like one of those easy quests where you oneshot a opponent and you are finished. But this one... you end up fighting probably the most dangerous opponent in the game. It is a giant robot worm which can hide in the snow, has a enormous health-bar and is incredibly fast.

@@25shadow11 The problem with that fight is it's poorly done. I know boss fights are likely to have a few cheap things to make them more challenging, but MF is cheap and pretty much luck based.
@@Hidden_lvl True, but that is all the more reason, right? l mean, screen filling unblockable 1 hit killers, clones, and able to heal himself, and all you get for that is a not so great keyblade
@@thaddeusrussell8919 but they mentioned a god of war boss even though that secret boss is not even that hard compared to a lot of other secret bosses around
He was "easy" because I think I killed him on my first try. Sure, you need the right build and everything, but this fight shouldn't take you more then a few tries max (with the right build). But bosses like Sigrun will kill you over and over and over even if you are prepared. Or bosses like the ruby or emerald weapon from ff7 take so much prepping and even then they're a pain in the ass. Their fights are hard enough to be memorable. Morgan Freeman's wasn't.
Beating Queen Sigrun in GOW was at one point the only achievement I was missing to get the platinum trophy, and it almost made me give up, as it requires to fight perfectly, parrying her blockable attacks, avoiding the unblockable ones, taking her down when she flies, attacking every time she puts her guard down, and being super patient for it takes a lot of attacks to do significant damage. Although it was quite frustrating, finally beating her made getting the platinum trophy even sweeter.
"cough" "cough" Mysterious Figure from Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, Night Terror from Soul Calibur 3, and ANY of the Velvet residents from Personas 3-5
Finally someone mentions Uranus from my favorite bloody roar. I've been a fan of the series since the beginning but this boss took me half an hour to beat when i first played bloody roar 3.
Sigrun never once felt unfair. It was a challenging endeavor, especially on give me God of War but in the end, I felt that the game rewarded you for understanding all of its mechanics intimately.
Nah she was a little unfair. She felt a bit RNG heavy at times. An example of this is her stomp grab. On gmgow she can randomly use it after nearly every combo she does and will sometimes delay it with a fireball attack or she can do it 3 times in a row with her sometimes doing the fireball attack inbetween. It felt pretty cheap to get hit by because if she doesn't do the fireball you have to dodge instantly. You can never predict which version she is going to do because it's completely random. I could never identify a pattern with it. Not to mention that it's pretty much a oneshot on gmgow if you don't have really high level gear. Even with high level gear it will still do like 90% of your health. She took me like 8 hours to beat on gmgow so I got pretty decent at fighting her and I could never identify a pattern with that move. Also for some reason they decided to remove the "Valhalla!" audio cue that the other Valkyries did making an already tricky move to avoid just straight up ridiculous.
I figured out the best way to tell what she is doing is by paying close attention the the color of the ring that tells you when she's attacking. Even with that said though I'm bot fighting her again after it took me days to beat her on gmgow.
@@LordKewlDewd I'm taking about her jumping stomp specifically. She can just randomly do it without much of telegraph and she can mix it up with the fireball move making it feel very RNG heavy since there's no telling if she will do the fireball delay or not.
Conor1997 Well said sir & 8 hours is straight up BOSS!! Congrats! It's really sad we didn't get a 🏆 for beating her on such a hard diffuculty... It took me 3 days to beat her on GMGOW difficulty smh. Now I can load up the game & beat her any given day without even getting hit 1x or using rage because I know her move set & how to defend like I made the game. I sometimes let her recover after she dies just to kill her a few more times because of how she use to do me when I sucked lol... She is literally the cheapest boss I've ever seen in a video game though. I've even got some videos of me avoiding the fire air attack & her glitching on top of me anyways. Also that attack were she steps back for a split second & immediately hops forward for the wing stab shouldn't have even been in the game as it's impossible to see it coming. & the wing shell she does can glitch if you're already mid attack with a move that doesn't open her shell up then she glitches & opens with the BS literally in a split second that almost 1 shots you. She wasn't like this in the original game but developers made her cheesy AF in new game plus. I got about 10 videos of her glitching different ways.
@@maceomillions2192 Funny enough her wing stab never really gave me too much trouble. It would catch me occassionally if I wasn't paying attention but I could usually see it coming. It's probably due to the fact that I'm used to fighting Vergil in dmc3 on dmd mode with turbo turned on. He has a similar attack called a stinger where he lunges forward with his sword and stabs you. The only difference is that it comes out waaaaay faster than Sigruns stab move and with turbo turned on (games speed is increased by 20%) it becomes borderline impossible to react to 😂🔫
F@## him, he so hard. He give really really really small window of opportunity to hit him and his attacks changed every fight. I love how hard, but also hate how much it expects you to not mess up too much or he f##$ing kill you in a few attack
HAH! Lingering Will is a joke compared to others. If you REALLY want a challenge, try tackling Mysterious Figure as Terra. Critical or not, as quick as that hooded little F*!& can be, he is definitely a boss that was missed as an Honorable Mention on this list.
Armored Core: For Answer The secret third ending that tasked you with defeating the five best pilots in the game at the same time. Each of those bastards were equivalent to a boss fight on their own, fighting all of them at the same time took me many, many attempts.
Thermidor, bliss, kasumi (hard mode has only) and wynne ( I don’t remember the last one) They’re somewhat annoying on there (except kasumi) own but all 4 are infuriating I had to make an anti pa and long range build just to kill them
The uranus fight is tough, but once you beat her, you unlock her as a playable character. So, I actually recommend finding that one. She's fun AF to play. Albeit not as broken as the fight against her.
What do you mean terrible? It wasn't an unfair fight, just fucking hard. You couldn't rely on learning attack patterns as while she did have some set combos and patterns, it wasn't enough. You just had to learn her move set and how to react properly to each move to not get raped. One of my fave bosses as all the Valkyries do well to train you for the fight
@@TheGorillamilitia terrible as in hard not bad. Um her AI switches up the order of the attack and the lower in life she gets the less she signals attacks even going as far as to darken the screen even when you dodge the shade attack.
@@cutiepie6796 what? How was sit hard? I had custom super juiced armor, I put everything I had into building them and making sure I got max benefits with the sets and even with a revive crystal she kicked my teeth in. Level 9? I even had the stone that makes valkyries do less damage
Faust from Legend of Dragoon. When you can first fight him he is literally impossible to defeat as you need to collect all 100 pieces of stardust in the game, some of which are in areas you cannot return to once completed. Even then he hits you with magic that will more than likely kill all 3 of your party members in one hit if your not equipped with the amazingly expensive piece of armor that reduces magic damage by an insane amount.
I beat Sigrun, then went back on my save file to do it again on give me god of war(2nd hardest cuz it was my first playthrough). Immediate regret, but i loved beating it eventually
What about Penance from FFX? He’s quite hard to beat unless you spend hours up on hours prepping and then follow the right combination of attacks to take him down.
Zodiark from Final Fantasy XII. You either defeat it within the first few seconds or you have to fight it for ages and ages while constantly switching your characters and healing until your potions and magic are gone. If you win the battle you are rewarded with the ability to control Zodiark the Esper in some battles throughout the game and it has some unique abilities that make it a formidable foe.

Personally for me, the queen Valkyrie fight was easier than I expected considering I already knew how to counter all the other attacks. But it did take me 4 try’s which I was quite impressed with
Sephiroth isn't THAT hard at least with enough levels. :p Not the first one anyway, I've beaten him. I was sort of thinking of bonus bosses like that though...
One you get heal leaf skill "can't be interrupted while healing. Sephi 1 is no challenge. Sephi 2 on the other hand takes alot of skill and planning. Look at my video of the fight. I beat him on Proud with Lionheart keyblade and double jump.
Lol, I put both of those. Ozma was a bitch if you didn't level up. Penance (or any of the Dark Aeons) are hard as hell. And Yiazmat takes forever to beat, especial because he can take out your party with one spell.
I actually found Penance "easier" than some of the Dark Aeons. More time consuming, sure, but freaking hell, Dark Anima took me forever until I could get it done. FFXII I ended up not doing many of the optional stuff because my PS2 eventually broke. I might get around to buy a new one just to get to 100% on that game.
Damn, I feel so old. I read through the comments and nobody said this, I guess I'm the only one that played it. That is not Nick Bruiser, that is Rick Bruiser. The fight against Demi-Fiend in SMT: Digital Devil Saga is my pick. Not only are you having to fight the protagonist of the last SMT game (SMT 3: Nocturne), but he has a massive array of skills that can and will just one-shot your party. he also opens with those skills that do more damage to your party than your HP Cap, if anyone in your party has any skills equipped that make you immune to damage types. What follows is an HOURS LONG slog as you try to take him down, all while the SMT: Nocturne 'Random Battle' music is playing. Your team is so weak compared to Demi Fiend that you are just another bump in the road to him.
Facts.... Honestly unless your op before you get there. The dragovian Kings final dragon form is so much hell!! Even getting to the final form is hard, u have to fight I think 4 or 5 others just to get to it. @@jonathanmccallister7884 DQ is well known for post game super bosses... DQ11 has a load of them, each one worse than the last... the last one takes around 30 mins to kill and you have to be a god at knowing how to survive as can pretty much kill you in a round if you're not careful.
@@warailawildrunner5300 I hated the fight in DQ11. The only way to beat it is to know this random trivia that activating one of the legendary swords will remove his armour. I can guarantee that without doing this, the fight is impossible. After that, he becomes incredibly easy to beat. So yeah, not a very good bossfight in my opinion. DQ8's final dragon fight was a whole lot more challenging.
The first guy on the list you showed was *Rick* Bruiser, Nick's brother. Nick looks the same, but fights quite differently. For one, he switches sides when he's dazed, meaning you have to alternate left and right jabs to hit him.

in KH1 it was a little hard, but on KH2 it was a joke.

Fighting and beating the Valkyrie Queen was so satisfying. But honestly I wouldn't to go right back to it knowing how terrible it was
What do you mean terrible? It wasn't an unfair fight, just fucking hard. You couldn't rely on learning attack patterns as while she did have some set combos and patterns, it wasn't enough. You just had to learn her move set and how to react properly to each move to not get raped. One of my fave bosses as all the Valkyries do well to train you for the fight
