I've been on Delta trans-atlantic flights several times now (A350 AMS-DTW 22-04, A330 AMS-TPA 22-11 {rerouted because of weather), A330 MCO-AMS 23-02 and A330 AMS-ATL 23-06) and there's really little I can fault them for. In general, the food was quite good and there were plenty of beverages to choose from. As for airports, I had little to no problem navigating any of them in the US and, of course, AMS is my home airport, so I can find my way around there pretty much blindfolded :-) As connections go, I'd never opt for tight ones at either Schiphol or Atlanta 🙂
Nice video. Maybe I missed it but would have liked a mention of beverage choices . I’m assuming adult beverages were included in the meal service , or available in the back etc?
20:15 Cant say that we saw what the cabin crew was like through the flight, but the look and stance of the FA around 20:15-20:20 during deboarding… Crossed arms, avoiding looking at the passengers. Tells me a lot especially compared to other carriers. KE (immaculately, without fail, as with most Asian carriers), and UA and honestly usually most DL crew tend to portray their carrier in a better light than this. Maybe she had a bad flight, who knows?
Lousy cabin crew. I was an F/A and we would do a drink & snack service first and hold 10 rows of meals for the folks in the back. The snack service ate up the first 90mins, followed by the dinner service where everyone got a choice. That crew was lazy.
@@clausstimpfig3803 I was in the last class at TWA. And then Flt 800 happened and 18 of my classmates were lost. I had completed training in STL and ended up not taking the job because, they sounded like they were headed for bankruptcy. What years did you fly?
I stopped your review immediately. Every frame is littered with subtitles explaining every nuance. Why shoot actual video if you’re going to spoil it with volumes of blurbs? An occasional subtitle, perhaps….but not this unending ticker tape of copy. Best of luck-
As a Detroiter it was nice to see our fantastic airport so clearly presented, thank you.
Lovely. Video. Detroit Has an Awesome airport. And I love the Techno tunnel as it was First dubbed between b,c and A gates

Yes, seems strange that dinner was served first- typically there would be a beverage service coming through, before the dinner is served. Interesting.
now days they just throw the food at ya as fast as possible so they can go disappear for the flight.
cool!!

Thanks for watching! Yes - alcoholic beverages were available upon request, but I don't recall a first beverage service.

thats crazy
Friendly guy at 4:47 haha
i have made this flight several times that said i like flying in the a330 better. 2-4-2
The 2-4-2 on the A330 is great, but the 2-3-2 on the 767 is amazing
@@zachparker9707 oh yes. I still seek out a 767 over all.
@@badgerattoadhall Same, it’s very hard to beat

1989 flying a lot within Germany and all over Europe. Middle East, India.@@WhisperJetAmerica
por que en Amsterdam esta lloviendo si es verano
Dos dias antes del vuelo estuvo lloviendo en todos los Paises Bajos, no solo en Amsterdam.
they dont fly A350 from JFK, the newest ones are A339, the rest are crappy noisy B767s
That's right! I was originally booked on a 767 flight out of JFK but Delta changed my itinerary to include this DTW-AMS trip on the A350.
Delta got the worse food for international flights! It's really bad
primitive meal service. and NO INTERNATIONAL FIRST CLASS CABIN...anymore. Delta is so bad
Terrible Air conditioner!!

Thank you for your feedback! I add subtitles based on what I notice or find interesting. I will take this into account in the future.
ok bro you keep posting shitty videos of christmas trees and blury airplane winglets. loser
@@mackerflyas a counterpoint, I actually really liked the subtitles and your presentation style.
