Bonus info, if you visit Lancaster in the summer you get to experience what it's like to live on the surface of the sun.
Funny!
I'm an Av resident he ain't lieing
LMFAOOOOOO PREACH‼️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😩
I still think Bakersfield is worst, but at least you got Kernville close lol Always be on look out for tweekers
Mojave desert, home of Death Valley.
After this video went live, my home value in Lancaster went up by $5,000! Imma set off fireworks and play loud music to celebrate at midnight to commemorate
😆😆😆lol
I’m done 😂🤣 this is the Lancasteriest way to celebrate
Please no more fireworks. At the beginning of the pandemic they shot off artillery shells every night on the west side just about the time you would fall asleep, for about 8 months straight.
Lancaster and Palmdale meth central
Could be worse, like living in Victorville or Barstow lol
Lancaster was a little out of our budget, but we had a nice time melting patches of blood stained linoleum with acetylene torches in Victorville and scoured a bunch of cracked, sun baked parking lots for suboxone strips in Adelanto. Maybe next year, Lancaster.
I'm from Germany and have visited a family of my mums old pen pal friend from school in Victorville. That was in 1991. They still wrote letters until a couple years ago. Then the contact ended suddenly.
Can anyone tell me what the hell happened to victorville since 91? I've read it turned into a gangland with crackhouses, shootings, and families fleeing to elsewhere. I hope the Castros are fine, and not living at the beach in a tent.
@@allesdurchprobiert we pass through there annually when we take highway 395 up to the eastern sierras, so I can only speak for what’s visible from the road, but despite some newer looking shopping centers and home developments, it’s pretty gross. Plenty of signs of gangland activity, lots of rundown places, abandoned RVs. The Joshua trees are kind of cool though. Invariably, we stop for gas and coffee in Adelanto on the way back, which is where some of the newer stuff is at.
@@jschiek8054 Thanks! So I hope they just had to move. Maybe also to find work.
@@allesdurchprobiert I hope so, too. There seems to be a lot of effort to improve the place, or at least superficially gentrify it. All the same, it doesn’t have the best reputation anymore (if it ever did), and it’s obvious it still has a long way to go.
😂🤣🤣
I’m from Lancaster, and lived there for along time and moved 2 years ago. This video is absolutely hilarious. Brent you made my day man.
They forgot to add the drug & human trafficking cartels, shootings, thefts, murders, pedophiles sent in from other counties, constant harassment in every parking lot from people begging for money, homeless camps, and more 😂
Say no more, you had me at "They forgot to add....
It's a 2 minute video, you are describing a documentary.
Honey, you can't play all your cards at once... You gotta keep a little mystery so people can discover those hidden gems on their own 😉
Lmao 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@abbynormal1292 LMAO, but should have had more tweekers lol
I wish I could watch a whole movie with Nikki and Brent. You guys are absolute classics.
Agreed
Nikki is going cringe. It hurts my lower back.
Haha. I lived in Lancaster, CA for 2 years. Palmdale, CA. I ran a dog rescue during the foreclosure 2006-8 crisis.
You nailed it. 😂
Respect ! Dogs should never be homeless.
I'm in T-Town. Totally nailed the desert.
Lancaster, CA is very entertaining. It’s the place to go to see people driving around in circle at a gas station while drinking a 40 of Old English. They go out with a bang by throwing the glass bottle towards the pump when they’re all done.
😂😂
Accurate 😂
Hey, if we're truly from Lancaster, you would have shown the tumbleweed snowman.👍
That's what I was thinking. :)
Ahhhhhh yes, that and how the wind only takes a break like a week out of the year.
😂
“You love nature? You’re in luck, come see our tree!” OMG that entire scene cracked me up! Love it.
Barbies dream house
*"Not to be confused with Lancaster, PA where you can stay with an Amish Family and they'll even let you milk a cow, but don't let them trick you into milking their bull, I fell for that once, Once!"*
I fell for it twice... :(
@@LordFred69 be honest the second time was a choice
@@todydn the third time was for cash...and fame!
Just don't remove their shoes lol
Classic Amish prank.
Omg HALARIOUS! As someone who was born in Lancaster and then fled and moved far far away, YOU NAILED IT!
you remind me of someone i knew at Lancaster Christian
LOL I was born in Lancaster and now I live in NYC.
Century long wars have been fought for the meth crown. We pray that one day peace will be found between the Antelope Valley and San Bernardino.
A century passes every month in Lancaster. Time is relative to misery. Meth is enabling time travel.
As a person who was born and raised in the Antelope Valley… this is all facts and accurate.
Unfortunately…..
@@johnlopez4089 I moved.
I loved living on the ES of Lancaster.. Alot of the blacks where coo people. And the wind ain't no joke..
Palmdale way better
@@josephferrell7403 way better… to score an 8 ball! Am I right? Yes or yes? Afroman knows!
Looks about right. Hey kuddos to Lancaster for keeping it cleaner than the rest of our beautiful state.
I'm packing my bags before the video is even over, baby!
Why pack when they showed you they have free clothes all over the ground.
@@maranathaacts1327 packing his bags to gtfo
@@rusky2012 I was making a joke that he did not need to spend time packing, when he could just enjoy getting new clothes off the ground once he got there : )
i just finally got the fuck outta AV after being born and raised there for 29 YEARS and this is the most accurate video ive ever seen. hahahaha
Born and raised Lancaster. What you'll understand most, wind, tumbleweeds, dust, dry heat, no mosquitoes, cold nights and jackalopes.
Lies! I lived in quartz hill and the Lancaster mosquitoes were always flying to our house and throwing up their tag banger sets.
@@keenkingjames Weird, I never had mosquito bites until I moved to Alabama and now I can't go outside sometimes, because they love my blood.
@@jeffnagata416 we had a doughboy pool and a pond.
@@keenkingjames Then I'll say spoiled brat. Hehe
@@jeffnagata416 grew up on welfare. We dug a ditch and put in some concrete. To call me spoiled would be a mistake. It’s been a rough life. But better since leaving Cali.

Fixer upper for sale in Lancaster, CA: $1,200,000
Make sure the city officials of Lancaster see this....they will appreciate it very much.
My wife is from Lancaster. Can confirm this is accurate
Alvaro!
What no scenes from “Roy’s” (Division and Avenue J) No Beechwood Manor or Suspect Ridge? Pffft
I grew up in Lancaster on the Eastside. I was Miss Eastside and went to AVHS “Go Lopes”! This was freaking hilarious. There are days I miss it there … like going to Crazy Otto’s for breakfast or going to a Jethawks game (rip Jethawks).
Grew up there to went to AVHS ITS NOT THE SAME PLACE
I grew up in Lancaster, too! Miss Crazy Otto's on Sierra Hwy, Everytime a train would go by they would spin a wheel with all the table numbers, if it landed on your number, your meal was free. They had good food.
Crazy Otto’s!!! Yun
Not the Crazy Ottos Briar 😂🤣🤣
Crazy Ottos by the train tracks so your table rumbles....oh the memories
I grew up in a sort of outskirt of Lancaster. We always thought of Lancaster as the ritzy area 😂😂😂.
Love this! My husband and I grew up in the AV, we escaped to Idaho. This made me legit homesick.
Who else is sitting in there home in Lancaster watching this 😩
Me.

Trust me, that was the upscale neighborhood of Lancaster!
I've been to Lancaster to visit family friends, the most exciting part was watching their goat bury itself to stay cool.
My goats do that here too.
@@TheAnimeAlliance Damn you guys can't even rig something for the poor goats to get out of the sun?
@@JackSparrow-yb3lq Dude, I came from upstate N.Y. to CA two decades ago and it still blows my mind how they keep livestock in most of CA. Have you seen their dairy farms? Poles and a flat tin roof over a concrete pad is the closest they get to a barn. You expect them to make a shelter for a goat?
@@merlball8520 I am from upstate NY also. Here they use thes little pre made plastic shelters for goats. For the pigs they hose them down and the pigs cost themselves in the mud
Someone send this to r. Rex Parris
I’m fucken dead af! 😂😂😂
I personally prefer Palmdale. I like that the water supply is more polluted from defense contractors dumping industrial chemicals
As a former AV resident this cracked me up!! LANCASTER BABY!! 😂 All kidding aside I do look forward to “coming home” to see our family and friends there.
Yep, I was born and raised in Lancaster. My parents moved here in 1948. This is an amazing and accurate portrayal of life in the Antelope Valley. Anyone ever seen an antelope, btw? Loved this!! 😂😂😂
From Texas and y’all already know why this has me cracking up so hard 🤣🤣🤣
Looks a lot nicer there than the drive I just took through L.A.
No idea where Lancaster CA is.
But this video is fucking hilarious.
Keep 'em coming.
About an hourish north of downtown Los Angeles lol
Best you don’t friend 😂🤣
@ gray_space_alien wait...your names gray space alien & you've no idea where Lancaster, CA is??! You seriously musta missed your exit, lol
@@bsabrandi711 flew right over it on the way to Roswell I guess
It's on the wrong side of the mountains. Then again, I'm not sure there's a right side of the mountains anymore.
Bro you forgot the best part Quartz Hill
Did you notice the tree that she decorated was leaning? That’s because the wind NEVER stops blowing! I grew up there. I haven’t lived there in 21 years but I’d say this is very accurate.
There used to be T-shirts that said "Lancaster Wind Festival Jan 1 to Dec 31"
Having grown up in Lancaster, it never ceases to amaze me how many tumble weaves I pull from my car rims near sierra highway, and how many mounds of abandoned clothes litter the desert lmao
I represented a buyer for a condo here in Oceanside, and he was from Lancaster, CA. I said, "I haven't ever been to Lancaster" his response always intrigued me, he said, "Believe me, it's worse than you could imagine, especially during the summers." I've always wanted to go and find out...just to see for myself.
Now you don't have to 😆
My buddy said Afghanistan was better then Lancaster
If you're in LA, Lancaster is the place you drive through on the way to a party in the desert lol
Freaking hilarious, but you shoulda done Palmdale. Could have featured Afroman
I want to thank city of LA for their ingenious solution to downtown LA. That is shipping it out to Palmdale. Good work.
L.A., San Fran, and San Jose all ship their people-without-residences all over the state. The Central Valley gets most of them.
RVnB LMFAO 🤣
Drove through Lancaster my entire life on way to Jawbone Canyon to ride! Desert is a magical place!
I love these two together!!
Dude...i spent years of my life there...this couldn't have been any more spot on lolololol...thanks for the shot down memory lane...🤣🤣🤣🤣

Fuckin brilliant
😂 our family is stationed at Edwards and Lancaster is shocking!
EAFB KIDS
Omg that was freakin hilarious, you both were on point.
My grandparents lived there. We'd visit them during the 80s and 90s. It sucked then too. The only thing we liked was the proximity to Magic Mountain.
More Gavin Newsome please.
This is a republican stronghold in the state along with Kern county
@@stevencole7331 Republican? 🤣 you’re out of your mind. Lancaster and Palmdale are rather blue. Santa Clarita is the only reason this district votes red.
@@Amrepdude499 nope usually votes republican . Kevin McCarthy has won his district unchallenged for many moons as he makes his way to possible house leadership .
@@stevencole7331 That shows exactly where you’re misinformed, as this is not Mcarthy’s district….Lancaster’s congressional district is district 27 if i’m not mistaken and it has flip flopped a lot. Lancaster and Palmdale vote democrat but Santa Clarita is very far right. So it leads to flip flops. Look at the local representation as your best clue, it is definitely not republican up here lmao
Y'all are on the naughty list 🤣🤣🤣 Loved it!!
Oh good I had some last minute gifts to pick up
Hey, I'm also from Lancaster.... Now, I live in Mexico.
Lancaster is my home town. This is all sad and true.
This gives me Rosamond vibes, those people are really from Mojave.
“And you can afford it” lmao 😂
Another line could've been "Who needs snow when u have dirt and WIND!"

They got it by buying out and plowing under the last NHRA approved 1/4 mile dragstrip.
Congrats, since then everybody has to go to......Bakersfield, so yea.
I lived in Lancaster for 34-years. I retired in 2010 and the door didn't hit me in the butt. This town was a hell hole when I left, I bet its 10-times worse now. If you love your family don't move there.

California in a nut shell.
An ad from inter-dimensional cable in Rick and Morty
😂 they are not acting!!! Lancaster and Palmdale is really like this I swear!!!
There is actually an Imax theater in Lancaster...that's about it. The east side of Lancaster is really ghetto. Quartzhill has the upper middle class. I live in Palmdale and there is much more things to do here (mall, restaurants, trampoline world etc) and there are less meth heads, ghetto people and homeless.
Give it time. In my experience meth addicts will find where they can rob and are willing to travel. Consider it like commuting for people with normal jobs and teeth.
@Sinister Thoughts Don't get me wrong, I am looking into moving lol.
It’s so funny how people from Palmdale always says how it’s so much better than Lancaster lol it’s the same shitty place. That’s like saying Victorville is so much better than Adelanto lol
@Eric Anderson They're both better than LA imo.
Correction those are Christmas ravens; Lancaster is high desert crows don't fly that high
Too funny! And I’m trying to move back to the AV from Kern mountains for many reasons…I lived there at least 20 years, real stores(!), no 5 fwy with trucks using 3 lanes, no bears breaking into the house, snow eliminates any commute… it’s not condensed like the other valleys but has enough. This video is true but hilarious. Prefer Palmdale 🙃
The Kern is ruined, totally understand getting out. Tehachapi is still nice.
thats a joshua tree, supposedly they are endangered but i see them everywhere out here in the desert
lol, this be the state of california now
It's a family reunion in the comment section. 🤣 I was also born and raised in lancaster. I thank the good Lord every day I was fortunate enough to escape
