The chopsticks in the rice thing is to do with incense of which you put upon graves and other ceremonial sights of that nature to do with ancestors.

Morimoto is the type of Grandfather that holds a shinai on one hand , and Chocolates on the other during an Interventions on his grandchildren. Not Gonna lie , I thought she was trying very hard to have Morimoto call out the people on their Etiquette but he isn't budging, I still remember how he talked about his "Hana Yori Dango" and "Ten Men ten Colors " approach to customers , can't remember on what video though.

I worked as a Sushi/Tempura chef for over 10 years...THANK YOU for clarifying the ginger part to those ginger eating fools that eat it with EVERY bite of sushi or sashimi (I've always asked them if they came to eat the ginger or the food?!) so annoying! 😐😑

Agreed however it's a personal choice if they choose to eat ginger with every bite. As long as they're paying for it. You can always kindly educate them.

You don’t need to always repeat what the guy says. It’s easy enough to understand him.

Love morimoto’s vibe here, but the lady is so annoying. Why does she repeat what he says after every sentence…. It’s so redundant and unnecessary and it seems a bit disrespectful tbh
