Morimoto is the type of Grandfather that holds a shinai on one hand , and Chocolates on the other during an Interventions on his grandchildren. Not Gonna lie , I thought she was trying very hard to have Morimoto call out the people on their Etiquette but he isn't budging, I still remember how he talked about his "Hana Yori Dango" and "Ten Men ten Colors " approach to customers , can't remember on what video though.
Id like to make a suggestion. If you are going to do the subtitle thing, I would have the host talk to the guest, and engage in the questions, then have the host do a recap at the end of the video. Im a huge Morimoto fan and having someone repeat after him was very jarring.
I worked as a Sushi/Tempura chef for over 10 years...THANK YOU for clarifying the ginger part to those ginger eating fools that eat it with EVERY bite of sushi or sashimi (I've always asked them if they came to eat the ginger or the food?!) so annoying! 😐😑
Agreed however it's a personal choice if they choose to eat ginger with every bite. As long as they're paying for it. You can always kindly educate them.
Love morimoto’s vibe here, but the lady is so annoying. Why does she repeat what he says after every sentence…. It’s so redundant and unnecessary and it seems a bit disrespectful tbh
Great advice! Beautiful videography and visual displays in this video 🌸
The chopsticks in the rice thing is to do with incense of which you put upon graves and other ceremonial sights of that nature to do with ancestors.
I was surprised she didn't know!
After watching this video on UA-cam about eating sushi, I can definitely learn how to eat different types of sushis with chopsticks. : )
This is golden

You don’t need to always repeat what the guy says. It’s easy enough to understand him.

If it's the red ginger I won't touch it. But if it's the white ginger I eat it how he says too.
Love Chef Morimoto but she is a horrible host!
does this girl has Instagram?
