My favorite part of this quest is the moment, the small moment when our traveler stops being a vessel and acts like their own character when the sibling says their real name. Full lines and everything! Ooooo that felt so good!

Do you guys remember when Zhongli said something along the line about the witness that is able to withstand the erosion of time? It is until now that I realized that Zhongli was not talking to the traveler, but to us the players. Traveler memories can be tampered but us the players can't. We are the true witness of the game.
Also since we're almost at the end of the story, I'm calling it: the heavenly principles has been sleeping because they have been reduced to Paimon, just like Rukkhadevata was to Nahida.
Same thoughts! I saw this one video on TikTok which mentioned about us being the witness of the 4th Samsara. Everything that is happening in Genshin are the memories of the traveller in this Samsara cycle. Hence, this Samsara cycle was already finished, we're just navigating through it (idk if this was clear 😭)
Btw isnt heavenly principles is like whole celestia gods not just the unknown god? Im kinda confused because in the begining of the game they refered the god from begining is the unknown god and then after sumeru they just called heavenly principlea when mentioning celestia gods 🤔
@@sunglassfrog89 in my understanding, the heavenly principles (singular or plural i don't know) is the entity that imprisoned us at the start of the game.. in this quest our sibling said that they hate the heavenly principles so much

its sad that we didn't see the Dainsleif and abyss twin cutscene but it makes sense. Both of them are using elements that are not even formally introduced to us yet, so us seeing their fight is kind of impossible
exactly maybe we will get the cutscene later as a flashback when the powers will be introduced
This quest made me realize that Traveler still does not trust the people and friends he/she has now even Paimon, he/she never said his/her real name to other and still themselves as foreigner of this world
Personally I think it's good for them. Kinda keeps them grounded? hearing your actual name from the most important person in your life in these rare moments between all the shit you're dealing with with little returns has gotta be deeply cathartic in some way
1:49:04 I think considering Caribert passed in Sumeru 500 years prior, he was tied to Sumeru as a spirit with the Loom of Fate. This would make him unable to move (and considering the type of spirit he was, probably wouldn’t latch onto Kaeya)

The music we heard in Cariberts realm was also played in Jehts last quest: the eternal Oasis (Home of the goddess of flowers). Even the place looks familiar with the water and the sound effects when you walk on water for example.
I hope I am not the only one who stumbles over the similarities between Caribert and Kaeya.
First, they was bouth 8 years old the time their lives turn upside down.
Bouth are half blood.
Like Caribert in the quest, Kaeya also trys to live a life in a peacefull place (Mondstadt). They coulden't accept their fate, bouth.
They are used as a tool... Caribert for the loom and Kaeya as a spy. And in bouth cases, it wasen't their decision.
If you give Caribert a lil bit longer hair and a eyepatch, the similarities are hillarious!!
If I have to take a guess about Kaeya's ancestry, I think he is a descendant from Anfortas ( Schwanenritter ) side of the family. Maybe Chlotars brother. This would also make sense bcs they were great swordsman.
What I also noticed,in this quest it's all about siblings ...
For the loom of fate, if I have to take a guess, I think the abyss will try to write a variation of the current time line, just without the cataclysm and they will try to fuse the timelines at some point then. Yeah, I hear you thinking "but the leylines can not replace one another". I know that. But what if the Abyss trys to find a way to make it work? You know, like back then, where Dain told us, that the curse can not be undone...but Clothar in the end did it.
Btw we still have 4 regions to go: Natlan, Shneznaya, Khaenria'h, Heavenly principles and maybe also (Abyss). I think in Khaenria'h we will meet much more monsters and mecha then people. Oh yeah and some "Sinners".
I also speculate that Dains element is gravitas or some kind of black stardust magic. And I also think there will be the "Light" element like our Abyss Sibling. I noticed the fact that no matter wich sibling you play, their clothes and accessoires glows all withe. Thats very sus in some way.
I can't wait for the things to come.
The music in Caribert's domain reminds me of Zuria's lullaby from that event with Thelxie and Freminet.

Lumine is not the canonically abyss sibling. Hoyo said they choose this way so its not confusing to change it everytime. 😅

At the end of the quest, paimon did tell the traveler that dainsleif was injured. So I’m guessing, the sibling probably did just cut it right out 🫠 ngl, it sounds sensually wrong though

I know that aether is the canon traveler, but with this quest I loved him as the abyss twin, I love that he had found the flower Lumine has as a headpiece, the flower she loves, idk I like brothers that will do the impossible for their sisters q.q
Pls their relationship together reminds me of the hsr herta space station side quest with the two separated lovers 😭😭😭
One counterpoint for chat’s message: i think for the irminsul have no effect on traveller is just because he/she is not in the scope of its effect, since its target is more of the people from its origin, but either way, tht loom of fate thingy is still indeed powerful

With respect to Dain being able to tell when his memories are being messed with if he's not preoccupied, let us not forget that Dain is very sensitive to Ley Line Manipulation and Memory Manipulation in Teyvat can only happen through Ley Line Manipulation. So Dain knows when his memories are being messed with because he can sense the Ley Lines being messed with. I suspect that it's the whole because Dain is aware of the manipulation it's very hard for him to be affected by it.
Also, you mentioned Caribert not telling us what the Completed Loom of Fate can do. He actually did tell us. He said, "The completed Loom of Fate can Weave New Ley Lines." Basically he said that the Loom of Fate cannot add to or remove existing Ley Lines, but can create new ones. Moreover, he SHOWED us what it can do because he had full control over the Completed Loom of Fate right before he ceased to exist. Ley Lines control the reality of Teyvat. Think of it this way: Teyvat is a computer simulation and the Ley Lines are the lines of code that tell the simulation what to produce. The Loom of Fate cannot modify the existing lines of code, but it CAN introduce NEW lines of code to alter the simulation. Or in Teyvat terminology, the Loom of Fate can allow its user to circumvent the "rules" or "Heavenly Principles" because The Loom of Fate can tell Teyvat itself that whatever it creates is supposed to exist. And, like I said above, Caribert showed us this power... by creating the photo that was in our pocket. That photo shouldn't exist because both the memory and the physical location of that photo no longer exists. But Caribert used the Loom of Fate to weave a new Ley Line that allowed that photo to exist. Presumably he also created one for our sibling as well. And if you pay really close attention, you'll notice he weaved more than one new Ley Line before he went to his eternal rest. You've seen the second thing, but it didn't register that it only exists because Caribert weaved it into existence: The Dolls. The dolls that he and Atossa made. They only ever existed in the memory he created. Yet, there they sit in the real tree. Two Dolls that should not exist, yet do exist. THAT is the power of the Loom of Fate.
Given what we now know the Loom of Fate can do, I don't think the Abyss/Khaenri'ahns are going to restore Khaenri'ah. I think they're going to weave a new one into existence. They cannot change the Ley Line that dictates that Khaenri'ah is a pile of rubble. But they CAN weave a new Ley Line to create an exact copy of what once was.
each time we get a Paimon yawn wakeup scene, i get Nahida Archon Quest flashbacks.
Aaa finally a Lumine traveller. All the streamers I've watched play Aether. I use Lumine but can no longer play GI due to storage 😂. I'm glad I can finally see Lumine's side of this quest🎉🎉

I'm guessing Sibling wants to use the Loom to "reweave" the fate of those who are unfairly cursed and try to revitalise them? To what extent is that will succeed is not the question. The Chams Dain Quest also touched on this. If it was revenge he wanted then He wouldn't have said that he still doesn't know how to use its full potential.

the Heavenly Principles being asleep is the intended result from Focalors' 500 years deception, at least in the context of the orginal sin. The entire point of Furina's act was to fool the Heavenly Principles into viewing her as the real hydro archon thus they would have no suspicions of what is happening in the background (aka returning the power of hydro to the dragon sovereign). So no, Furina absolutely had to pretend to be Focalors otherwise the Heavenly Principles would have realised that the original sin was being solved. In this way, Focalors' plan was flawless. Shout out to Focalors🗣. In terms of the seat of the hydro archon however, just like Caribert said, the Heavenly Principles for some reason, just don't care enough to awaken.

I actually disagree with the sibling. As much as the Heavenly principle is the "Evil" one i feel the 5 sinner and the king whom unleash the abyss power in the first place also is worst.
If you think about it, the Heavenly Principles (The Second Who Came) stolen the power of the dragons and established the Seven's dominion over Teyvat, after the third descender they used his remains to construct Gnoses which would establish a firm grasp over the rules of Teyvat. Khaenri'ah was created to oppose the dominion of the Seven, it is a nation where no gods guide them and the people who have been banished away from their respective nations.
Its really hard to tell tbh who's the worst here, but we can truthfully say that they both did the worst things to Teyvat to date.

However.
The part "You'll forget all of theis, once you wake up" got the straight up pissed me off. We are 5 regions down. Those quests only happen once a year. And what do we get for such an important occasion, that is ment to move the actual plot forward? A sub 2 hour quest, that could've been a tweet. Danny got what - 5 min of screen time, while getting his shit pushed in by Aether OFF SCREEN (!!!!!!!!). But "The Loom of Fate is complete and the Principal is waking up I guess". Yaaaaay.......
Honestly kinda hate the quest:/ the lack of reaction or emotion wasn’t showed through lumine like at all and Idk why we are sitting with someone that betrayed us too.
