I’ve been saying Simmons for 2 months. It fits. Not to mention just being injury prepared for Blackmon or cross.

Yo we needed 2 safeties before Scott went down.Yeah literally everyone has been on the forefront of the Colts 100% needing to enhance the safety room.
At this point why not go get Simmons or Diggs? I believe it is paramount to the success of our defense at this point

All I’ve heard thus far are injuries injuries injuries. How are these players getting hurt so early. I’m worried about Richardson
safety feels like by far the biggest weakness on this roster. Julian Blackmon is good, but injury prone and Rodney Thoams and Nick cross have been inconsistent. Getting Simmons in here would do a lot to help the team immediately, mentor a guy like nick cross, or just be a stop gap for this season. knowing Blackmon's injury history, there will come a game where he will be out. Do we really feel confident having Nick Cross and Rodney Thomas back there? especially having basically no quality depth pieces behind them. those guys would be good backups, but bad starters.
Getting Simmons would elevate this defense by a lot. Our secondary is our biggest weakness. Julain Blackmon and Justin Simmons would be an amazing duo. That safety tandem would take pressure off our corners, giving them confidence that they'll help with deep routes, which ill help corners focus on shorter passes. Our front 7 is elite as it is. If our secondary makes a quarterback hold onto the ball just an extra second, Latu and Buckner will be meeting at the QB. I seriously believe that just by adding Simmons this defense will go from average to elite.
How do you feel good about the corner room Cody? They can't cover our guys in practice and they know the plays!!! Swear I have no idea what film you watch.
I trust Blackmon and Thomas more than any of the CBS not named Moore

Could be 1000 different reasons, maybe they wanted to much money to start FA, they were in a super deep and talented S class, maybe some of them wanted to wait to see how each team built their team. The fact is that our secondary is bottom 3

The Colt's probably might go with their safety/linebackers that they already have from the last draft or one of their UDFA. That is what they did last season.

Look get off the Ballard wineing. First off from what's been distributed the corners and safeties have been fine, if one drops or goes down we have depth. Let's get back in the next man up attitude. Nick cross had one bad year let the youngster learn and I'm sure he has. I'd like people to view you two and your followers the same way.
