It's very strong for fluoro! It's also an easy transition into the double-lined knots for most, because of its similarity to the clinch knot. If you're looking for the strongest knot for fluoro - it's the Double San Diego Jam knot - I have a tutorial for that one as well, and in my opinion, it's easier to tie than this one. I wouldn't recommend any of the clinch-style knots for braid - these are designed more for line that tend to "bite" into itself (mono/fluoro). For braid, I would suggest the Palomar knot, double uni knot, or the Berkeley braid knot (I have tutorials for these on the channel as well!) - Thanks for watching! 🙏

With fluoro - double SDJ is stronger. With mono, I’m not certain - probably very similar in strength

I’ll take the trilene knot , it’s easier to tie and I never had one pull out or break .
