Great review JJ...Ive only seen MD use them before I found your channel but they are out of my league for what Im doing...lol. Appreciate the thorough review..
Question: I've been thinking about getting the CIII series for my 36" tank. How do you think this light would function on a timer, if it can be put on one? Also, I like how the video covers both the positives and negatives about the light, gj!
Thoughts on the uns Titan 1, is it identical to the ada solar RGB other than lacking shades? I have one and have had algae issues with it, not sure how high I should have it over a shallow (12 inch deep) 90 cm tank, on the light hanging bars it can't be raised higher than about 15-16 inches above the tank, manufacturer recommends 12 inches but I think that's for a standard depth tank.
Ya gonna have a video on the titan 1 soon actually but it's not as high wattage as solar rgb or built quality but still an awesome light, I would hang it as high as your bar can go shallows don't need much light
Yes you run it 24/7 and its not a must have but for the beginning of a new setup its 100 percent worth it, if you have everything in balance then long term you don't really need it on there but I still keep it running till this day bc its nothing hurting anything
Yes to all that you can buy a button that lowers intensity but its a pendent so you can just raise it higher if you needed that, and there's no need for a sunrise and sunset

Thanks
Found one used for a good price, but its on a 80 gallon, 48 inch wide tank, what are your thoughts on that, would the light be too small for it?
Just depends on your plant choices

are you on 100% for your light intensity? what kind of fertilizer and how much are you adding? thanks.
Yes and ADA ferts and I just do the recommended dosage
@@jjaquariums I see, that’s great having no algae with 100% light intensity with the s series. How old is your tank?
About a year
How do you like the twinstar nano algae inhibitor? Is it worth it? How do you run it? Is it on all the time?

@@jjaquariums Thanks for the feedback. I got one but wasnt sure if I should leave it on overnight or not.
I’m setting up a 125 but I’m not going to be running CO2. Would 2 of these pendant ones be too intense?
No that would be fine
Do you know of a dimmer that fits on S series? Because in the past I had to buy plug adapters and that’s $20 just for a plug adapter.
That one that buceplant sells worked for me
So is it always the same light color/intensity? No Sunrise/Sunset Modes and no app to control anything?
Yes to all that you can buy a button that lowers intensity but its a pendent so you can just raise it higher if you needed that, and there's no need for a sunrise and sunset
Nice aquascape
Thanks

Verison 2, will be switching this light for a ada solar rgb
