I see that your van isn't insulated on the roof. I also saw all that condensation build up on one of the shots when talking about your flat tire. Pretty quick and cheap fix to that is spraying the inside of your metal exposed roof is spray on truck bed liner. The canadians i saw online that did this said they used Rust-Oleum brand. Your ceiling will be black, but no more condensation.

You're giving away some of Michigan's best keep secrets. You may not like it as much when all the folks start showing up because the word is out😀
You can tell that you haven't been there too long as your not using yooper vernacular yet.

    • @happycamper8895
      @happycamper8895 4 роки тому +2

@@ThisNomadicIdea I'm a Michigan resident, the cost is $11 for me. Still have to pay to camp in all State parks. Boondocking, you do not need a pass if you camp on state or federal forest land. You are right about the brown signs for the boat ramps. For state sites you do need a pass for admission. Many of the boat ramp parking areas have signs saying day use only or no overnight camping.

The way you explained it, I took it that these were
only good for vehicles and not for RV’s or Travel Trailers.
If I misunderstood, please correct me.

BEST FREE RV CAMPING IN MICHIGAN! First Campground mentioned is DNR $35 a night and that's for Michigan residents! What a misleading title. Thumbs down all the way. What you counting your first night at Walmart "free" camping?

@@ThisNomadicIdea Maybe I am, just why use the words BEST FREE....? Why not just great camping spots in Mi? I was specifically searching for boondocking spots. Your title is clearly misleading. By the title I was sure it was "Best Free RV Camping in Mi" which it clearly is not? Maybe you don't know how youtube titles should convey the content of the video. I don't look at Walmart as great free RV camping. Maybe you are new to off grid I guess.

This Nomadic Idea I’ve been on UA-cam since it began...!
If you have any idea of how UA-cam works, which I believe
you do, you would know that your title is TOTAL CLICKBAIT...!
Sure, there are many who won’t take the time to say anything,
but I subscribe to many channels so my time I allow for watching
      videos is limited...
I do not appreciate being lied/tricked into watching a video, that if
the title would have been honest, I would not have wasted my time
      with...!
I realize that creators do it all of the time to get views so they can
      make money...
I would think that you would want long term subscribers to grow your
channel with, you won’t get them by using clickbait titles...!
I’m born and raised in Elkhart, my Daughter and grandkids live in Michigan,
and my wife is from Michigan so we spend a lot of time there...
I was going to subscribe to your channel but now I’m going to hold off and
see where you go with it.
I hope that you can take some constructive criticism and make use of the
      advice given.
One more suggestion, please do something about your sound recording,
it kept going from so soft I could hardly hear you then it would jump up to
loud and it went back and forth like this during the whole video.
I know that equipment is costly and you’re just starting out, when you can
afford to, please get a better sound system.
You might see that you loose subscribers if you don’t, some people are very
      particular about things like that.
I wish you success with your channel...!
      Stay safe and healthy.
Have a great day and be blessed.
