The second bad news is that P.B. Bonnie has a younger brother named Neddy who started crying very loud as he landed out of the mother gum’s stomach and onto the sharp edge of the stone he dropped on. Anyone know twice that Bonnie’s brother Neddy has a mental disorder. I am not lying I have autism and scetophenia and I really try to control it. And at the end of this video, it shows that Neddy drinks the root to make his sweat and blood turn into fruit punch juice for the whole kingdom of his sister Bonnie bubblegum’s candy people to use. Her brother who is locked in that room is very sensitive and in one of the episodes of Adventure Time, Neddy was frightened by Jake and Finn as he screamed and flew out of the castle from the room he was locked in and made a big whole in the wall of the castle. Bubblegum’s brother Neddy grew up and formed into a flying dragon.

Rachel Atkins did not want to do Dolores Umbridge but she just had to do her speech and voice is what Harry Potter show manager and author hired her to do. Rachel Atkins had no choice and she absolutely regrets her Professor Umbridge character.

Don't forget about princess cookie, or how she tried to get Finn to stay away from flame princess, she had a good reason for it but there could have been another way. Also she collects taxes from Finn and Jake and they don't even live in the candy kingdom.
@Hannah Cohen , Why didn’t Princess bubblegum think of any other possible solutions before she put the flame princess in that cage in front of her dad in the first place. I like the sound of the hot burning fire and cracking sound of it because it warms up my red blood heart and calms me down and relaxes me. Red can be just as peaceful as blue and purple if you value it excluding the devil or dark bad evil spirit.
I think her evil is intentional, the show points it out too often for it to not be. She's never going to be 'revealed as evil' as it's always been obvious. She doesn't realize she's evil herself, she might realize that one day? She's an entertaining character in her own right though and that's all she needs to be.
There is an interview with some of the creators where they explain that at first the show was going to be episodic and everything was just for the jokes, but over time they started to craft an overarching story and that forced them to make the jokes real. Like, at first some of the awful things that PB did were just because it was funny that the good, magical princess did something awful and giggled about it, but when they switched from just parodying fantasy stories and telling jokes to telling a story they suddenly had to deal with a character that is supposed to be a good character doing some dictatorial, Machiavellian things to her subjects.
She made Lemongrab and propped her up as dictator on his land multiple times. She is sluggish to really challenge him even when his subjects are been eaten or starved to death. She has all that army power and still she wants to make it Lemonhopes problem solely by coercing him to try overthrow even when he is just a dumb kid who has escaped his shitty life. She doesn't want to dispose of Lemongrab because he is the perfect puppet leader. Bit like how USA propped south american dictators because it was handier than messy democracy they really wanted.

I started to think she may be evil when her, Finn, and Jake went to this land for her to go claim later. They run into zombies and she sacrifices one of her people so they could live. I know she said she can make new ones easy and Finn and Jake are irreplaceable, but still. It seemed off.
She's definitely meant to be an altruistic dictator. PB's a deliberate subversion on the notion of a benevolent princess taking care of her kingdom. She's meant to fit the fairy tale mold and the assumptions we have about that mold on the surface, but the reality is far more sinister than it looks at first glance.

Flame princess should just listen to her brother and wage a war.
It would be cool if someone could animate pb getting wrecked by the other kingdoms. Then the other kingdoms people eat her flesh and save the candy people from her reign.

I had a feeling that Finn could have been taller than princess Bonniebel Bubblegum by at least 9 to 10 inches aka 0.75 feet to 0.834 feet taller (that is 22.86 centimeters to 25.4 centimeters taller) making him 6.4168 feet to 6.5 feet tall (6’5” at 1.96 meters tall to 6’6” at 1.982 meters tall). In one of the episodes of Adventure Time, I seen Jake the dog made pancakes with bacon for Finn and he threw the box of pancake batter at Bonniebel bubblegum and said “Did you hear what Finn said about you, You are sick!” He angrily threw the flour and pancake batter, butter and tried to get her to leave aggressively. That made Finn go to the Flame Princess to date and the flame princess almost died and her fire almost ran out in danger all because of her.

And it was Jake's fault that he immediately fell asleep while PB was explaining the REAL reason why she didn't want Finn and FP together, (and the reason isn't some stupid jealousy love triangle) Jake didn't bother to ask PB what the real reason was and brushed it off to jealousy, which made Finn be angry at PB for what she didn't even do. So it's Jake's fault in that episode, not PB

This^ is exactly shows my problem with Princess Bubblegum’s Character. I don’t care if she’s doing those in the name of science or protecting her kingdom, deep personal feelings and ulterior motives are fake, only her actions are real. What she meant to do doesn’t matter at all, what does matter is what she did. Her character could of been interesting is she portrays as an anti-villain. (Anti Villains - do bad things for good reasons ; just like Mr Freeze was doing to save his wife) but the reason why it fails for PB because they consider her to be a good person and she pretty much never receives any karma or consequences for the terrible things she does. Even when characters like Tree Trunks and Flame Princess finally calls her out as a terrible person to her face, PB doesn’t really receive any actual outcome beyond slightly hurt feelings. The thing is, if a character hasn’t improved his/her faults or doesn’t face any consequences of his/her actions, why should I care?

But thats what makes the show good. The show makes you figure out this instead of holding your hand and saying “yeah she’s a villain”. It lets people really put the puzzle pieces together and interact as a community which brings up very interesting topics.
idk why but i need a video on why finn is a WAY better character than steven. they both fuck up(mostly steven), but finn’s redemption is so much better than anything in steven universe. his arc with flame princess is a great example. he does something shitty and apologizes at first, though he doesn’t fully understand what he did wrong. later, after much humility in losing his arm and finding his dad, he comes to an understanding with her and they form a realistic friendship. the apology felt so real and her response was just perfect. going through those difficult and emotional times seemed to allow him to grow up. also mention how much steven cries compared to finn. despite him having a much harder life, finn still cries less than steven. it’s so repetitive in SU that it takes away any meaning.

Angry studio Flame Princess did after she discovered that Princess Bubblegum was intentionally starving her people in order to find the location of siege weapons. This was under the pretense that if there was ever a time that the Fire and Candy Kingdons ever went to war that the Candy Kingdom would have the upper hand. That and Bonnie didn't trust Flame Princess, even though the former Flame King wouldn't hesitate to use said weapons. Flame Princess went out of her way to reform the Flame Kingdom and would only use the weapons AFTER EVERY OPTION was tried.
Favorite villian for me has to be the minor villian Me-meow. Unlike the other minor and major villians which had questionable intentions/World-Ending views and come-backs, Me-meow had one clear objective in his one episode and tried his best to complete it. Sometimes complexity isn't always better.
It's uncle Gumbold. He will eventually take over the candy kingdom at some point in the series towards the end. Somehow, most likely destroying princess bubblegum or imprisoning her. She has strange psychopathic intentions don't get me wrong but she isn't out to destroy Ooo, if she was she would've teamed up with the lich and Uncle Gumbold already. The REAL big bad is Golb, the creators stated this themselves that the show will end with Golb.

Finnbol and Endymion have made many videos defending him, but like any analysis of the Russian economy will show it improved greatly under him, in fact, life expectancy actually touched the US's, which is impressive for one of the most backwards and underdeveloped countries in the white world. She's the closest thing we have to seeing a SU diamond in action. At least Pink Diamond sort of redeems herself by saving humanity/life on earth in general. Sure the earth was going to be destroyed anyway by the Cluster if Steven never stopped it which makes it a pyrrhic victory. Especially since the Cluster might be made of other Crystal Gems who followed her ideals. But everyone just forgets or easily forgives what PB actively does to their faces or behind their backs even if they find out. I think the Diamonds are based off PB if she was seen in a different light. Not as a friend to the MC but as an enemy.
I think what PB lack is just human emotions. She always go for the scientific and logical route without putting other people's feelings into consideration. Thats why i love PB so much because shes such an interesting and messed up character that its surprising that an animated show make her one of the main deutoraganists. It also helps that shes terrible but in a clueless way cuz she sees the way shes doing is normal and nobody calls her out because nobody lives longer to see what shes done except for a few. I think its her timeline with Finn & Jake that she finally is experiencing everything working against her for all the things shes done
She definitely has emotions, she just doesn't understand them herself that's why she would always depend on scientific approaches because that's what she understands. I think PB's the type where she runs away from her own emotions, developing a problem with how she empathize with others but it's shown that she is compassionate and would try her best to help her friends.
Bubblegum is an immortal mutant tyrant who likes to play god. An amazingly interesting character, specially compared to the boring magical princes she appears to be. That said, she isn't a villain. As much as we love to call cruel people villain it's a narrative element and Adventure Time is a narrative. She isn't the antagonist of the protagonist, therefor she isn't a villain. And please respect the ears of your audience. Your videos are great but not everyone will watch them if you purposely cause discomfort like that.
She is a vilain in the extense use of the word, someone that will do evil deeds for some reason, but I gree that she isn't a vilain in adventure time, yet at least.

in one of the episodes focused on the banana guards, we find out her own guards are afraid of her, hiding any evidence that they each have their own skills and talents.
Now that the show has ended I think the whole point was to show how morally gray science can be sometimes, Bubblegum pursues knowledge no matter what, after she got banished from her kingdom she does improve in ruling her candy kingdom
I’ve been watching Adventure Time clips lately and I’ve noticed that PB is kinda very much a dictator. She tries to have control over everything and anything she can. She killed all the Rattleballs because they developed free will, she continually tried to contain Flame Princess just for existing, she was a dick to the cookie, the list kinda goes on. Not only that, but it becomes really apparent in Goliad. I believe Goliad is her subconscious dictatorial personality which is why she tried controlling everything.
One episode that comes to mind when I think of PB's tyranny and evil is Season 6 Episode 22, titled The Cooler. The one where the Fire Kingdom goes into an unforeseen cold spell and when FP invited PB over to advise her in figuring out the issue, she takes full advantage of FP's trust and goes as far as destroying ancient Fire Kingdom relics, with no sense of humility in doing so. That's ultimately her problem throughout the whole show; her inability to be wrong and admit she is. Something a good ruler shouldn't have an issue with.

Honestly I wouldn't have a problem with PB's character if there were EVER any consequences for her actions. She's kind of like Rick Sanchez in a way, an amoral scientist that doesn't care who she hurts. The only difference is Rick doesn't pretend to be a good person.
Cinnabon was really naive under Princess Bubblegum but with Flame Princess he became smarter, there was no need for Princess Bubblegum to create a Cinnabon jr. yet she did

Who knows, maybe it's peppermint butler who has been casting evils spells to ensure that she is evil. Why does PG keep peppermint butler so close? I think it's unlikely that she don't know a lot about his evil dealings given all the surveillance of her subjugates and whatnot. And then there is the fact how kings and queens have been ruling in our real history, the hard handed power hungry uncompromising ruler is not really unusual.

Princess bubblegum could've been a low key villain considering the fact that she watches her people everyday and the other kingdoms but she also uses finn and jake the same way she uses the banana guards and uses them for her own benefit she doesn't care or learn from her mistakes especially when she created a whole zombie apocalypse out of a failed experiment and had finn literally heart broken only to get jealous when he went out with fire princess also she doesn't seem to understand the fact that she tortured lemongrab even though he didn't want to live because of how she tortured him but then brought him back to life and he ended up creating a dictator kingdom and it just proves that she gets the influence from her crazy uncle because she created her own family and they made a society entirely on building a civilization uncle gumbald went insane to create a kingdom and tried to create the dumb dumb juice on his own family, princess bubblegum started a feud that eventually got her uncle to get infected by the dumb dumb juice for almost the entire show until the last episode then once she became the princess of the candy kingdom she began to turn into this dictator that's actually heavily influenced from her crazy uncle which is why she doesn't feel guilty whenever she makes a mistake and plus the kingdom idea was actually stolen from her uncle and it's what got her to her own downfall thus losing the election to another king but since her people only listen to her, she freaking burns him and reclaims the kingdom even tho she lost the election which is a pretty scummy move and then she lost to the pup kingdom(the future race of Jake and rainycorn)thus ending her kingdom to become abandoned and as if now she lives with marceline, in my opinion I think she's the sorta Ani neutral villain.

She fails to understand her emotions for Marcy and hurts her feelings, she had Baby Flame Princess imprisoned for most of her childhood and tries to kill the kingdom by freezing the core, and she failed to realize that Lemon candy is insanely sour and not sweet, which technically she can make him sweet and sour but she didn’t, she also fails to help the lemon kingdom. BUT the biggest of all, she uses Finns crush on her to emotionally manipulate him and even when he’s moving on, she wants him to be with her and remain loyal to her.

Rachel Atkins did not want to do Dolores Umbridge but she just had to do her speech and voice is what Harry Potter show manager and author hired her to do. Rachel Atkins had no choice and she absolutely regrets her Professor Umbridge character.

neckbeards everywhere came and sharded at the same time around the globe when Rick uttered those lines.
I think her evil is intentional, the show points it out too often for it to not be. She's never going to be 'revealed as evil' as it's always been obvious. She doesn't realize she's evil herself, she might realize that one day? She's an entertaining character in her own right though and that's all she needs to be.
There is an interview with some of the creators where they explain that at first the show was going to be episodic and everything was just for the jokes, but over time they started to craft an overarching story and that forced them to make the jokes real.
Like, at first some of the awful things that PB did were just because it was funny that the good, magical princess did something awful and giggled about it, but when they switched from just parodying fantasy stories and telling jokes to telling a story they suddenly had to deal with a character that is supposed to be a good character doing some dictatorial, Machiavellian things to her subjects.
She made Lemongrab and propped her up as dictator on his land multiple times. She is sluggish to really challenge him even when his subjects are been eaten or starved to death. She has all that army power and still she wants to make it Lemonhopes problem solely by coercing him to try overthrow even when he is just a dumb kid who has escaped his shitty life. She doesn't want to dispose of Lemongrab because he is the perfect puppet leader. Bit like how USA propped south american dictators because it was handier than messy democracy they really wanted.

She's definitely meant to be an altruistic dictator. PB's a deliberate subversion on the notion of a benevolent princess taking care of her kingdom. I had a feeling that Finn could have been taller than princess Bonniebel Bubblegum by at least 9 to 10 inches aka 0.75 feet to 0.834 feet taller (that is 22.86 centimeters to 25.4 centimeters taller) making him 6.4168 feet to 6.5 feet tall (6’5” at 1.96 meters tall to 6’6” at 1.982 meters tall). In one of the episodes of Adventure Time, I seen Jake the dog made pancakes with bacon for Finn and he threw the box of pancake batter at Bonniebel bubblegum and said “Did you hear what Finn said about you, You are sick!” He angrily threw the flour and pancake batter, butter and tried to get her to leave aggressively. That made Finn go to the Flame Princess to date and the flame princess almost died and her fire almost ran out in danger all because of her.

And it was Jake's fault that he immediately fell asleep while PB was explaining the REAL reason why she didn't want Finn and FP together, (and the reason isn't some stupid jealousy love triangle) Jake didn't bother to ask PB what the real reason was and brushed it off to jealousy, which made Finn be angry at PB for what she didn't even do. So it's Jake's fault in that episode, not PB

This^ is exactly shows my problem with Princess Bubblegum’s Character. I don’t care if she’s doing those in the name of science or protecting her kingdom, deep personal feelings and ulterior motives are fake, only her actions are real. What she meant to do doesn’t matter at all, what does matter is what she did. Her character could of been interesting is she portrays as an anti-villain. (Anti Villains - do bad things for good reasons ; just like Mr Freeze was doing to save his wife) but the reason why it fails for PB because they consider her to be a good person and she pretty much never receives any karma or consequences for the terrible things she does. Even when characters like Tree Trunks and Flame Princess finally calls her out as a terrible person to her face, PB doesn’t really receive any actual outcome beyond slightly hurt feelings. The thing is, if a character hasn’t improved his/her faults or doesn’t face any consequences of his/her actions, why should I care?

idk why but i need a video on why finn is a WAY better character than steven. they both fuck up(mostly steven), but finn’s redemption is so much better than anything in steven universe. his arc with flame princess is a great example. he does something shitty and apologizes at first, though he doesn’t fully understand what he did wrong. later, after much humility in losing his arm and finding his dad, he comes to an understanding with her and they form a realistic friendship. the apology felt so real and her response was just perfect. going through those difficult and emotional times seemed to allow him to grow up.
also mention how much steven cries compared to finn. despite him having a much harder life, finn still cries less than steven. it’s so repetitive in SU that it takes away any meaning.

Angry studio Flame Princess did after she discovered that Princess Bubblegum was intentionally starving her people in order to find the location of siege weapons. This was under the pretense that if there was ever a time that the Fire and Candy Kingdons ever went to war that the Candy Kingdom would have the upper hand. That and Bonnie didn't trust Flame Princess, even though the former Flame King wouldn't hesitate to use said weapons. Flame Princess went out of her way to reform the Flame Kingdom and would only use the weapons AFTER EVERY OPTION was tried.

Favorite villian for me has to be the minor villian Me-meow. Unlike the other minor and major villians which had questionable intentions/World-Ending views and come-backs, Me-meow had one clear objective in his one episode and tried his best to complete it. Sometimes complexity isn't always better.

It's uncle Gumbold. He will eventually take over the candy kingdom at some point in the series towards the end. Somehow, most likely destroying princess bubblegum or imprisoning her. She has strange psychopathic intentions don't get me wrong but she isn't out to destroy Ooo, if she was she would've teamed up with the lich and Uncle Gumbold already. The REAL big bad is Golb, the creators stated this themselves that the show will end with Golb.

She's the closest thing we have to seeing a SU diamond in action. At least Pink Diamond sort of redeems herself by saving humanity/life on earth in general. Sure the earth was going to be destroyed anyway by the Cluster if Steven never stopped it which makes it a pyrrhic victory. Especially since the Cluster might be made of other Crystal Gems who followed her ideals. But everyone just forgets or easily forgives what PB actively does to their faces or behind their backs even if they find out. I think the Diamonds are based off PB if she was seen in a different light. Not as a friend to the MC but as an enemy.

Marceline and bubblegum, is just a fanfic that someone in the production said out loud, and then they incorported in the show.
I think what PB lack is just human emotions. She always go for the scientific and logical route without putting other people's feelings into consideration. Thats why i love PB so much because shes such an interesting and messed up character that its surprising that an animated show make her one of the main deutoraganists. It also helps that shes terrible but in a clueless way cuz she sees the way shes doing is normal and nobody calls her out because nobody lives longer to see what shes done except for a few. I think its her timeline with Finn & Jake that she finally is experiencing everything working against her for all the things shes done
She definitely has emotions, she just doesn't understand them herself that's why she would always depend on scientific approaches because that's what she understands. I think PB's the type where she runs away from her own emotions, developing a problem with how she empathize with others but it's shown that she is compassionate and would try her best to help her friends.

Bubblegum is an immortal mutant tyrant who likes to play god. An amazingly interesting character, specially compared to the boring magical princes she appears to be. That said, she isn't a villain.
As much as we love to call cruel people villain it's a narrative element and Adventure Time is a narrative. She isn't the antagonist of the protagonist, therefor she isn't a villain.
And please respect the ears of your audience. Your videos are great but not everyone will watch them if you purposely cause discomfort like that.

in one of the episodes focused on the banana guards, we find out her own guards are afraid of her, hiding any evidence that they each have their own skills and talents.
Now that the show has ended I think the whole point was to show how morally gray science can be sometimes, Bubblegum pursues knowledge no matter what, after she got banished from her kingdom she does improve in ruling her candy kingdom
I’ve been watching Adventure Time clips lately and I’ve noticed that PB is kinda very much a dictator. She tries to have control over everything and anything she can. She killed all the Rattleballs because they developed free will, she continually tried to contain Flame Princess just for existing, she was a dick to the cookie, the list kinda goes on. Not only that, but it becomes really apparent in Goliad. I believe Goliad is her subconscious dictatorial personality which is why she tried controlling everything.

One episode that comes to mind when I think of PB's tyranny and evil is Season 6 Episode 22, titled The Cooler. The one where the Fire Kingdom goes into an unforeseen cold spell and when FP invited PB over to advise her in figuring out the issue, she takes full advantage of FP's trust and goes as far as destroying ancient Fire Kingdom relics, with no sense of humility in doing so. That's ultimately her problem throughout the whole show; her inability to be wrong and admit she is. Something a good ruler shouldn't have an issue with.

Honestly I wouldn't have a problem with PB's character if there were EVER any consequences for her actions. She's kind of like Rick Sanchez in a way, an amoral scientist that doesn't care who she hurts. The only difference is Rick doesn't pretend to be a good person.
She did improve in seasons 7-10 plus she was kicked out of being princess in season 6 so that's consequence.

… well….. she did have Finn kick Ices Kings butt without thinking of how he feels and failing to understand why he’s like this, she got rid of James because he was annoying even though he saved her life, killed Rattleballs race because she forgot to program empathy and didn’t even try to reprogram them. She fails to understand her emotions for Marcy and hurts her feelings, she had Baby Flame Princess imprisoned for most of her childhood and tries to kill the kingdom by freezing the core, and she failed to realize that Lemon candy is insanely sour and not sweet, which technically she can make him sweet and sour but she didn’t, she also fails to help the lemon kingdom. BUT the biggest of all, she uses Finns crush on her to emotionally manipulate him and even when he’s moving on, she wants him to be with her and remain loyal to her.
The fact that she doesn't realize how bad she is, or chooses not to acknowledge it, makes her so much worse
