Huh. It's crazy how we went from a tiny freecam game whos playerbase was mostly family of the creator, to Roblox being one of the most popular and influential games of the decade. I mean, you can build a whole career off of playing Roblox games now.
Me and my friends were the guys behind A-SOV and the testing place mentioned at 7:55 . A-SOV was as war clan in C&G and was known for being a mix of Dishonored, Game of Thrones and whatever else us boys would be playing at the time. We were known in the community and got quite the reputationb, some good, some bad. I have no clue how the ordeal with ROBLOX uploading out gun and hud testing place even happend, but I do know Tenal (the guy who had the place) was an absolute madman. A-SOV got somewhat close to turning into a really ambitious fps rpg game called Arenir, trailer on my channel. Funny to see us mentioned in your video!!
I've always had this one memory about Roblox that I have never been able to forget. My brother was playing roblox on the family computer while I watched. He was messing around in a world. However, it seemed a bit like Garry's Mod because of a menu he could pull up. He could spawn ANYTHING! I specifically remember either a batmobile or Batman himself? Point being, it looked sooo fun. I don't think it was multi-player and it wasn't specifically a batman or superhero themed world. It's probably lost to time, but that warm, nostalgic memory of a better time has always stuck with me.
i'm surprised nobody ever seems to mention the unreleased redcliff package seen on older gamecards. i only ever see it brought up in redcliff communities!

i know why the johntex thing happens. in the march 2007 client, theres code for "materials", aka surfaces. sandwiched between the code that initializes surfaces.png and SurfacesStrip.png is code that initializes JohnTex.png
You should make a video of the history of Roblox advertisements like they they used to be then turning into clickbait and ones that say “omg I spent all my birthday money on this ad” to now where ads are removed or gonna be removed I don’t remember 😅

u probably wont see this, but, at some point in 2021 or 2022 the "Bludroid: Ev1LR0b0t" bundle got changed completely, the mesh and texture were changed to some other kind of robot, i still remember it to this day and i think its not even documented anywhere, i couldnt find any info, the bundle it changed to i guess was called drillbot because thats what the mesh and textures for the body parts were called. (it happened during the twenty one pilots event, where u could get that white skiing mask, im too lazy to check whether its from 21 or 22)
if JohnTex.png is deleted and the lack of the file causes roblox to not load in some versions from 2007 despite the file being unused, that really makes me wonder: what code in the game calls upon the file to cause the error?
Idk if its something that anyone would use but roblox cards for studio items would be really cool, likely just having the main description from the website

i always find old rant type videos, or just any old reviews of films, games, music, etc. (i.e. the majority of xiaoxiaoman's channel) so funny because everyone was so needlessly vulgar and critical about every aspect of what they were reviewing, even if it wasn't actually negative, whether it had any effect on the actual experience of the subject or not. mostly because the youtuber would be like, half in character half out of it its the AVGN effect
