- Hey guys! 😁Welcome to my channel!!😁 I'm SUPER EXCITED to be trying something new in today's video with ya'll! It's been a little while since I posted my last grocery haul because we've literally tried staying home as much as possible as I'm sure most of you have as well. So, I've decided to include this 🛒 GROCERY 🛒HAUL with a "SNEAK PEEK" at my very special 2020 Mother's Day Dinner & TREATS, along with my very 1st "COOK WITH ME" MAMA VENDEE RECIPE!!!! PINOT GRIGIO CHICKEN RECIPE
• Preheat 2 TBSP extra virgin olive oil 🕒 5 min
• Add 2 TBSP flour stir until golden roux
• Add 1 stick of butter, simmer until butter is melted, add 4-6 cloves chopped garlic, cook until translucent 3-4 minutes
• Increase temperature to high heat, then add 13 chicken tenderloins chopped into 1/2" - 2" pieces & cook through
• Adjust temperature to medium-high heat, add 2 cups of sliced mushrooms and stir for 3-4 minutes or until mushrooms start to sweat
• Bring 2 cups of Pinot Grigio to a boil with 2 bullion cubes( chicken or veg), stir & add to mixture
• Add 1 cup heavy cream with spice and herb mix:
• 1 tsp coriander, thyme, and basil
• 1\4 cup chopped parsley
• 1 pack chopped green onions (tops only)
• 2-3 cups loose spinach (cut into strips)
Season with salt & pepper to taste
Mix and cover, then cook over medium heat for 7-9 min.
Let off the heat for 5 min.
Then bring to a boil, stir, then turn off stove.
Let cool for 5-7 minutes
Enjoy!
